The only saving grace of this place was the cheery women who served the nice breakfast.
The owners/management were horrid! We were clearly a bother to them. This place had not been updated since the 80's. One night we didn't even have hot water!
Very convenient access to the ruins. Great accommodations.
We liked it all.
The staff was wonderfully helpful and kind. Breakfast is excellent. They even gave us a bag to take some of the breakfast away as lunch.
Hardly anyone spoke English. There was very little hot water and the toilet didn't always flush. The location is nice and out of the way, a quick walk from the ruins, however the sidewalks in the area are in really bad shape and it's not a very good walk.
The breakfast was very good and in abundance. The staff was helpful and nice. Possibility to park the car outside the B&B.
The room we got the base of the toilet was chipped, the door of the bathroom was not closing easily. The wifi was not good. We could hear the dog barking. The rating is not at all representative of the reality of the estate of the place.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located very close to the Pompeii archeological site, an easy drive or a 20 min walk. The staff was courteous and friendly, the breakfast they prepared in the morning was a nice surprise, substantial and delicious.
There are no restaurants right around the the hotel, but with a 5 min car ride you can find plenty.
Breakfast and staff who served it were friendly.
Senior staff were unfriendly. The room was dark and had ant powder spread around the edges. The hotel was situated away from any activity. The restaurant was closed and the only place I could find was a really tacky Pizzeria, a drive away, in Pompeii. It was so bad that I left early, even though I had paid for the night.
Lovely, cool & calm oasis. Traditional but comfortable rooms, great showers - plenty of water. The breakfasts really are excellent. The owner and her team did their very best to make our stay terrific.
Bed could perhaps do to be updated.
Pleasant owner who was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. 5* Excellent breakfast
Nice family run hotel with fairly comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast.
Bed was too hard with an old tiny TV which I found impossible to see from the bed. Hair all over the bathroom and a broken toilet seat. The worst experience came during the night. Their next door neighbors have a barking dog that barks all night long as well as allowing screaming children to be out of control up till midnight.
+ the breakfast was really good (fruits, ham and cheese, bread, croissants, yogurt, self-made buns) + the hotel is placed at a quiet location
- our window was really small, therefore the room was dark - the staff wasn't too friendly and their English was pretty bad - the walls are thin and sound passes through them very easily
The Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good and the breakfast was FANTASTIC! Best so far...what a spread it was and fresh. Service was excellent.
this place was a bit farther than expected from the train station, however was very comfortable and nice when we got there, air conditioning was great and bed was fairly comfortable although a bit springy, was very happy with the price and room.
Only approx. 10mins walking distance from the main Pompeii entrance Parking - at the hotel and also across the street - closed parking area Very good breakfast
Double bed was a bit too soft in the middle :)
Great location for the ancient ruins and the town. Fantastic breakfast and amazingly good value all round!!
Nothing I can think of.
Spacious room, clean, with airco and acceptable wifi. It was walking distance from the archaeological site. It was easy to reach (except the wrong google-maps location). Very friendly staff. Even though they didn't speak a lot of English, they tried their utmost best to help us with all our questions! Parking was useful. Breakfast was ok
We walked from the B&B to the Pompei city center... It was a surprisingly long walk :) The staff didn't know too much English. The hotels location on google-maps is not correct. Even though it is only 200m wrong, we had to maneuver through narrow streets for nothing. In fact, it's very easy to get to the hotel :).
The breakfast was the best we had during our two week trip, the staff were ever so helpful, it was a gorgeous setting and the hotel met our every need. What an absolute value for money and a wonderful night we had!
It's someone's villa with a lot of rooms. It's 3min drive or 25min walk from pompei. Free parking. Good breakfast.
It's simple a basic. Internet exist but slow. 8 stairs to get to the ground floor so if you're coming with a lot of luggage, you're into some workout. If it was 15-20euro cheaper it was perfect. For a 50euro there are better places around.
The hotel property itself is all in order with a cute garden and immaculately clean rooms. The breakfast was ridiculous--with plates that just kept coming out. A perfect preparation for a long day at the ruins. Excellent value for the money.
The hotel is both difficult to find and in a bit of a disconcerting location near some run down houses just off the interstate. Especially disconcerting if you arrive by night as we did and are first greeted by the lurid neon sign promoting the property. Despite this inauspicious start, the stay was more than satisfactory. Noise was a bit of an issue as there was jack hammering and a barking dog right across the street from the hotel that kept some members of our party awake.
If you are visiting the ruins, this is a prime spot, very short walk in the hottest temperatures, excellent. Staff were helpful / informative, including maps, recommendations for eating etc. Very clean, comfortable and definately value for the short stay we had there. breakfast is amazing !
Wi-Fi not the strongest, best in the breakfast room / lobby, apart from that, not really anything to complain about ..
Hotel is good but the location is very dirty and dodgie
the included breakfast has been awesome! 15 min walking from Pompeii Ruins (train station)
the bed was awful, wasnt comfortable at all, and I have found several ants in it:D
Good hotel, great breakfast - we asked for scrambled eggs and they did it.
Odličen zajterk,parking,lokacija..... great breakfast, location, secured parking, very pleased
The location was excellent for Pompei-15 minute walk. One of the best breakfasts in Italy. Hotel Verde for dinner-25 minute walk but well worth it as lovely food and really cheap. Vending machines for hot drinks and snacks was a bonus at the hotel.
Had a 25minute walk for food in the evening but was well worth it. Unfortunately the French and Italians don't do tea and coffee in rooms and certainly don't know how the british like their tea!!!!!!!
