Hotel Ponte Sisto

This hotel is in a fantastic location as you are within walking distance of all the major attractions and in the evening you can stroll over the Ponte Sisto to eat and drink in the lively Trastevere area, or go in the oppostite direction to Piazza Fiori and sit and watch the world go by. Fantastico.

The central location, and little noise even though in the middle of town. Very helpful staff and good service.

Excellent staff, Hotel and great location

The Ponte Sisto hotel was first-class. The entranceway, which is at ground level in the stuccoed facade of a building on a narrow street, at first gives no hint of what lies inside. When opposite the entrance howerver,a pleasant surprise awaits - two full height, full width glass doors give a view into the elegant marble tiled foyer, and through to the garden courtyard beyond. The garden courtyard, where we took our breakfast and had drinks in the early evening before going to dinner, was particularly inviting - 4 large palm trees provided shade over the marble patio; also many other plants and flowers. The breakfasts were excellent. Our room, while a little on the smal side, had first class fittings, as did the adjoining bathroom

There was not anythign we did not like about the hotel. We will definitely stay there again when we are able to make a return trip to Rome.

Excellent breakfast buffet in the garden and helpful staff. Good location.... it is within walking distance of all major tourist attractions.

The room we were given was tiny and therefore I thought it was overpriced at the rate we paid.

This was a very well run hotel with plenty of staff available. The breakfast was to a high standard and was served in the inner courtyard which was like an oasis in the heart of Rome. The air conditioning was very efficient and our room which overlooked the courtyard was quiet and spacious. The hotel was easy to find by car and the location was good for the tourist sites of Rome.

The graffiti in the streets around the hotel was a bit of a shock at first but the area was non threatening.

Rooms were spotless, bed v comfy, staff excellent,loved it!

I found the staff as always very pleaseant and efficient. I have stayed here often and will continue to stay whenever I am in Rome.. I had two different rooms on this trip and both were wonderful.

The staff at the desk are wonderful. I wish I had their names.. Will find out on the next trip. Everyone was very patient and helful. had beautiful rooms on two different stays.

We found the hotel comfortable and the location very good for sightseeing in various directions. We particularly liked the lovely breakfast patio.

We did not like the actual street where the hotel is located, but it was not a major drawback.
