the breakfast area
Location, location, location. Location is everything and this applies to Hotel Ponte Sisto. It is an easy walk to Trastevere, the Forum, the Vatican, etc etc. Add to that the friendly, knowledgeable and friendly staff and a high standard of cleanliness and you have a real winner. This was my second stay there and if I'm back in Rome again I will stay again.
Breakfast was excellent
Wi Fi not an option?
Walking distance from the main sites. Good breakfast in the interior courtyard. Room and bathroom very clean.
Room badly designed, with balcony off the bathroom. Very uninspired decor.
Great location near the Tiber. Freindly and helpful staff. Nearby parking garage.
Beautiful garden and exzcellent breakfast. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Hotel was very clean and the location was terrific! We loved our stay in Rome!
Excellent location. Clean and comfortable.
What a great central location! Breakfast was lovely in the courtyard, and the staff were sooo helpful, polite and friendly - more than can be said of the staff in the neighbouring Spar!! This was our honeymoon, and the hotel, and Rome made it such a special trip for us
We have already done this review, thank u Ian Johnson
The location is really one of the best advantages of the hotel. It is in the historic center of Rome, and very close to Coleseum and Vatican and all the rest historic sights. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and is always ready to help with everything. The breakfast is very good, wifi is ok.
We liked everything
Modern, comfy rooms. Great location for sight seeing.
Provided with only one bath towel per person so if you are a woman with long hair you don't have a towel for your hair. This is pretty basic and I was surprised this was missing at a 4 star hotel! Waited half an hour to use an iron as they had one for guests for the whole hotel. Very simple things that have been overlooked.
Good location, perfect cleanliness and unquestionably helpful staff for any kind of requests. Breakfasts were the best I've personally ever had while staying in Rome.
Quite noisy outside with open windows but it is not a question to the hotel. The driver from official hotel transfer were waiting in the airport with incorrect name in hands and even after that was very unfriendly. We claimed about it in the hotel and the transfer back to the airport was perfectly organized taking into account that we were very late for it.
Location, staff particularly Christina, breakfast, WiFi, rooms.
Perfect position, nice clean room, nice breakfast
Windows are not soundproof, if your room overlooking the street, at night drunk tourist will not let you sleep
The main attractions are all within easy walking distance from the hotel. It was nice to sit in the courtyard and have breakfast. There was a good variety of food and it was always being topped up. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.
Booking.com states the suites have a balcony however on arrival we were told that only two suites have balconies and ours didn't. We had specifically booked a suite to get a balcony so were disappointed. However after a discussion with the on duty manager we were upgraded to the best room in the hotel which is on the top floor and has two balconies at no extra cost!
Lovely courtyard with plants. Room upgrade on the second stay.
Very convenient location from Trastavere and city center. Good breakfast Helpful staff (speaking English well) Clean rooms
internet connection was not very good
Taking my 79yr old mum to Rome for her first visit I wanted a hotel that was close to transport and within walking distance of some of the major sites. Hotel Ponte Sisto was both. Staff were helpful, breakfast in the courtyard was delightful and gave us a good start to the day. Very quiet room.
Twin room was small compared to a similar room in Australian 4 star hotels although bathroom was large in comparison. This was more an inconvenience and it would not deter me from staying again. We had a room at the back and there was very little noise.
the traffic absolute ciaso
Booked triple room and we were given a suite so that our 17 year old daughter had a chair converted to a single bed in her own small room. Hotel was very clean and the courtyard was lovely for breakfast and drinks. Good breakfast too. Will book again when in Rome.
That others might now want to book!
The nice outdoor breakfast area.Nice rooms. Excellent WIFI.
Poor breakfast basket on our early departure day. No coffee and only Candies from Super Market on a bag.
The hotel was comfortable though smallish but adequate space; The bathroom was large and well appointed. we had a room with balcony overlooking the attractive inner courtyard. It is well located very close to Campo di Fiori and you can cross the bridge over the Tiber to get to the picturesque district of Trastevere. Breakfast was plentiful and you can sit in the lovely courtyard. I would return.
Central location within walking distance of all the main attractions. Beautiful courtyard for breakfasts. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent value for money.
We had a room at the front, over the street which was a nice room but was noisy late in the evening, especially Friday and Saturday nights.
Having to leave :-(
Excellent location day staff was great. Politeness and doing their best to help us have a pleasant stay. Fascilitated car rentals
Nothing everything was perfect.
