The hotel was good. Nice room, good breakfast, nice location.
The wifi was incredible slow, and made it impossible to do even the simpelst task.
The hotel was within easy access of all landmarks to visit, very clean throughout and a smart entrance, breakfast and area clean, tidy and a choice not brilliant but acceptable. I would recommend this hotel and I would return.
The staff at the dining area not all, were in need of learning the phrase "how to be polite", it may be customery to be short, sharp and rude but it is one that I am not a custom too!! I expect politeness and service with a smile. I was disappointed with the lack of tea/ coffee facilities in the room, there wasn't any !!
Hotel staff lovely especially realist staff
That the lift didn't feel secure
Location can't be beaten. Walk along river to Colosseum or Vatican. Across the bridge to Travestere and very reasonable restaurants - 2 course meal and bottle of wine 25 Euro Breakfast good selection
Hard bed & noisy chambermaids
location, clean, beautiful, great people help a lot
the clean lady dosent fut the products everday, we had to ask for it.
Perfectly positioned for walking to the main sights .We ate most nights near to the hotel in the popular Trastevere area where prices were reasonable.lovely room facing the garden area, which was quiet.
The Location and the light and quiet in the courtyard room
The unbearable Noise in the roadside room
Location and we'll known to all taxis
Small room very early checkout breakfast very limited options
Beautiful surroundings, fair breakfast and a nice staff.
At a Four Star hotel, it was dissapointing to go to sleep on a worn out mattress. Not what i expected...
The staff was wonderful and ready to help with any and all questions from directions to taxi cabs. The breakfast was wonderfully abundant and here again the staff was always courteous and helpful. The location couldn't possibly be better for a visit to Vecchia Roma.
Excellent breakfast with extended choice of food and beverages, friendly and helpful staff, the best possible location in the old town, all major monuments at a short walking distance
Large hotel room Great location Friendly staff Private car service to airport
Slow internet Breakfeast only till 10:00 on weekends
Cleanliness, location, professional staff and helpful. Great breakfast in the morning.
Location, friendly and professional staff. Christmas decoration. Fresh breakfast.
Poor internet connection
The location of this hotel is fabulous. We could walk to all the main sites and there is a wonderful ice cream shop opposite.
Where to start: 1) this is not a 4 star hotel. This is a 2 star hotel at best. It is NOT luxury like it suggests on the website. 2) our bedroom (standard) was appalling. It smelt of damp. It was dark and gloomy. We only got given 2 thin pillows and the best was the thinnest mattress and incredibly uncomfortable. The room was depressing. 3) for a 4 star hotel I would expect tea and coffee facilities In the room. We had no such thing. When we asked for 2 cups of tea it came to 10 euros. Disgrace. 4) no turn downs which is unusual for a 4 star. 5) the location was brilliant but the hotel itself is not what we expected. If you're looking for a luxury 4 star hotel in the city then don't book here! All In all we had a brilliant trip and the city is amazing. The location was the saving grace.
Great Hotel - Great breakfast, location and staff, we had a great time
The Wifi in our room was terrible. we asked to fix it but it didn't help.
The staff was extremely helpfull and supportive; their english was pretty good (knowing that italian people do not wish to speak foreign languages). While most italian are not helpfull, the whole hotel staff showed amazing assistance to all our questions/needs. Food is also yummy.
Our room was not 100% covered by WiFi
All staff at reception are helpful and courteous. They will provide tourist information, phone adapters and taxis if you need them. One can ask for a quiet room, and get it , though the hotel fronts on to a quaint, side cobbled- street full of curious boutiques which is not busy in December. You are minutes from Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori and Via Giulia, and it's a 15/20 min walk to The Capitol, The Forum,Via Corso, Via Condotti, Doria Pamphilj gallery, The Vatican and The Pantheon. With its central location, the hotel is a good jumping off ground for many tourist attractions, and good restaurants. If you don't want to budge out there's an attractive court-yard for reading, lounging and smoking. In summer there's a roof garden. This is a lovely, pleasant hotel. Don't tell anyone about it!
The breakfast queue between 10.30-11 am is just too much. Breakfast early and avoid it.
The hotel stuff are really helpfull and kind. They were very Hospitable with every question that we asked.
The Breakfast could be more rich and varied, and it could be nice if we had a coffee kettle at the room.
Nice location. beautiful place Nice staff nice bathtub room with balcony
Slow to die internet .. difficult late checkout..
The service and facilities were excellent. The location perfect. We will be back.
Great location close to our two favourites Campo de' Fiori and Trastevere. Really good breakfast. Great bed. Roomy bathroom. All good really.
2 things: The air con was too hot and we couldn't adjust it. I don't think the hotel could either. It would have been better off. The wifi needs boosting. It's OK for email but not for attachments. Hopeless for Skipe or FaceTime. That was a nuisance at Christmas. We offer these comments in a positive way. Both should be easily fixable.
The position is very good and the hotel structure has a good quality.
It was 10 years that I didn't find a single bed in a small room for single travellers. Amazing! The breakfast was too classic and nothing good considering the 4 stars.
The location is ideal for exploring Rome. The hotel is also clean, luxurious and great value.
The front desk staff are slightly aloof. They failed to return calls and emails about extending our stay and they talk more to each other than to guests. Very little eye contact or smiles. I felt more like another invoice than a guest.
I loved this hotel so beautifully situated by Ponte Sisto and charming Trastevere and close to Campo di Fiori. Friendly, helpful staff, very good breakfast. Big rooms(217) with comfortable beds and bathroom with window. Could not be better! I hope to return and want to stay here every time I visit room,
I have no complaints.
