All was Good,Location Specially close to Trastevere , Campo Di Fiore and Ponte Sisto... Breakfast was good Wifi too...Good stay will do it again
Location, charming courtyard and great breakfasts
Staff at reception can be a little disinterested and curt
Large roof terrace with great views. Lovely interior courtyard for breakfast, drinks, etc. Helpful and friendly staff. Very clean. Central to all the main sights.
Hard beds. Surly attitude of one male receptionist.
Close to Trastavere for great night life- lots of restaurants and shopping
Our room had a view of the street which was not worth looking out and the noise from young drinking crowd made sleep difficult- request a room facing the interior court if you can
Position, food all excellent
No shower. Just a hand held shower
Breakfast Buffet had lots of fruit, and a selection of breads, and heartier fare. There were newspapers available in the lobby, and a taxi stand just steps away, across the Ponte Sisto Bridge. The Campo di Fiori, with Giordano Bruno's statue is nearby, as is the Palazzo Spada, with an illusionistic perspective by the architect Borromini. Piazza Navona and the glorious Pantheon are also within an easy walk. The staff is courteous and helpful in answering questions about getting around Rome, and about ascertaining the availability of tickets to special performances. My husband and I both had a really pleasant stay here, and would certainly return to this hotel, as we already have.
I wish the hotel taxes were not so high in Rome.
Cleanliness of hotel and room excellent as was quality and quantity at free breakfast. Female staff at front desk were helpful and courteous. Location of hotel was excellent if you are able to walk up to 30 minutes. Campo de Fiore, with it's many bars and restaurants was practically around the corner.
Entrance located on rather dark side alley. Male front desk staff were stuffy and unfriendly. I detested there superior than thou attitude. For the price we paid, "superior room" our room was small and balcony useless. Bathroom had tub, very nice, but no shelf space to place items on.
clean, comfortable facilities very helpful staff nice quiet room overlooking courtyard perfect location
Most staff were helpful and friendly.
Some of the front desk people were not very friendly and were quite blunt. Very disappointing!
Great buffet breakfast in a beautiful setting, whether indoors in a lovely dining room, or outside in a flower-filled patio. The fruit that was offered in the buffet was outstanding, especially the watermelon in September.
Only the hotel tax on the bill, but that must be the same percentage at all hotels in Rome.
the breakfast area
Location, location, location. Location is everything and this applies to Hotel Ponte Sisto. It is an easy walk to Trastevere, the Forum, the Vatican, etc etc. Add to that the friendly, knowledgeable and friendly staff and a high standard of cleanliness and you have a real winner. This was my second stay there and if I'm back in Rome again I will stay again.
comfortable bed stylish hotel breakfast in courtyard handy to market square
receptionists 2 men very rude
Only the location
This was the third time I was in Rome. Previously, we lived between Fontana Fountain and the train station for about 400 EUR for 4 nights and we were very happy. This time we wanted to stay closer to the Piazza Navona and Trastevere and I had read very good about this hotel. We paid 1009 EUR for four nights. For this we received the following: Really small room Poor WIFI that many times did not work out even. Refrigerators that stopped working and that was fixed until the following day. The breakfast was the same every day and was very sad and poor. The only positive thing about this hotel was the location otherwise it was totally overpriced. A normal level of prices for that type of hotel and the standard is max 500 Eur for 4 nights and it was double so expensive.
Breakfast was excellent
Wi Fi not an option?
Walking distance from the main sites. Good breakfast in the interior courtyard. Room and bathroom very clean.
Room badly designed, with balcony off the bathroom. Very uninspired decor.
Nothing to mention
Great location near the Tiber. Freindly and helpful staff. Nearby parking garage.
Beautiful garden and exzcellent breakfast. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Hotel was very clean and the location was terrific! We loved our stay in Rome!
Excellent location. Clean and comfortable.
What a great central location! Breakfast was lovely in the courtyard, and the staff were sooo helpful, polite and friendly - more than can be said of the staff in the neighbouring Spar!! This was our honeymoon, and the hotel, and Rome made it such a special trip for us
We have already done this review, thank u Ian Johnson
The location is really one of the best advantages of the hotel. It is in the historic center of Rome, and very close to Coleseum and Vatican and all the rest historic sights. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and is always ready to help with everything. The breakfast is very good, wifi is ok.
We liked everything
Modern, comfy rooms. Great location for sight seeing.
Provided with only one bath towel per person so if you are a woman with long hair you don't have a towel for your hair. This is pretty basic and I was surprised this was missing at a 4 star hotel! Waited half an hour to use an iron as they had one for guests for the whole hotel. Very simple things that have been overlooked.
