Hotel Porta Felice

Siezable room and excellent conditions

good room, very clean, nice breakfast room view, good breakfast selection, good bed, quiet rooms., nice building inside. I did not use the gym facility so cannot judge on that

no bar/lobby which is surpising for the 4 star hotel and which makes the hotel expensive for that std; the bar in the breakfast room is not very cosy and business like ; limited choice of international tv channels, no clock in the room, plastic glass in the bathroom (agan not the std of 4 star hotels)

The hotel is new and in excellent condition. The breakfast room has a nice setting on the roof. The location is perfect. The La Kalsa part of Palermo is very interesting and their are lots of interesting sights within walking distance.

There was little to criticise about this hotel, but the rooms are a little bit dark due to inadequate lighting.

The hotel was a great value. It was new, luxurious and the breakfast was outstanding. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive and spoke excellent English.

Noisy outside, but that was not hotels fault - Palermos drivers love to hoot, everywhere..

Great service with staff that have good english. Large and very comfortable room with bathroom that was beautifuuly appointed and a pleasure to use. Excellent hot and cold breakfast.

It was a shame that the use of the spa was not included in the price. This was not a cheap hotel, and to have to pay another 20euros to use the pool was disappointing.

Very cold atmosphere, parking problems, centerlized adjusted aircondition system, rooms are dark, no view!

The staff were all very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We loved our room with its modern decor and balcony in the middle of a bustling street.

We felt that the information about the sauna, steam room and jacussi was misleading as the use of the spa was not included in the price of the room but was an additional (high) cost.

For Palermo, the location was ok, close to restaurants and nightlife in Piazza Marina. The staff were polite and we could use the internet for free.

Unfortunately quite a lot! The room was very small, nothing like the size of the room shown on booking.com. The shower wasn't sealed properly which led to water all over the bathroom floor. Also the bathroom ventilation was very noisy and, despite our complaint, was only turned off between midnight-6am. The road outside was dark, dirty and smelly.

great location, lovely gardens nearby plus the seaside feel. Fabulous bedroom and bathroom, lovely staff. The hotel was an absolute gem and would not hesitate to recommend it to both business and couples.

Nothing to dislike

Very good room with an excelent breakfast. Good location and easy to park near it.

Even if the TV was an LCD screen, the poor channel selection (one in polish, five in german...) no one in english made the tv set almost not usefull. Beside that the room was noisy because the bathroom fan continues to work even with the lights turned off.
