Excellent location - a hundred metres from the old city gate A bit difficult to find (due to poor Italian road signs - not hotels fault) |

the panoramic view from the room. The bathroom is definitely small and unconfortable. The location is far from everything. |

The hotel was very well located for touring. Michael who was available to guests every evening was very friendly and helpful, even allowing us to have a glass of wine before bedtime. |

Friendly staff. Lovely views across the countryside. Nice setting. A 15 minute walk to the centre. Very adequate for a City break. Small bedroom, smaller bathroom. |

The views from the hotel terrace were spectacular. The atmosphere was very 'Italian', intimate and friendly - including a 'happy hour' on the terrace with the management and their family. Everything in the room was imaculate and the shower was superb. An excellent location for those with a car - free parking so close to the city centre is invaluable. The bus stop outside the hotel provided a very convenient (if rather hairy) way of saving shoe leather. No white wine in the bar - but the red was excellent |

This was a nice hotel. We especially liked the outdoor patio area that had very nice views of the rolling Tuscan countryside. |

The view was outstanding and Michael at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful. We could have used directions as how to get to the Hotel from the bus and train station!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Having breakfast provided - friendly staff in the morning. In a quiet area near the Tuscan countryside. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. There was some cleanliness issues that weren't bad but noticeable. |

Is a very cosy and pleasant hotel. Familiar atmosphere in a location that is in not in the centre but is not too far. 15 minutes walking or 5 min. taking the bus near the hotel. It has a lovely view to the olive trees of toscana country side. The owners are very nice. We feel almost at home. If one arrives by train it is needed a taxi to get there. About 13 €. |

Very central location (not far from medieval gates of the same name), big, spacious rooms, staff ready to help, all you expect from Tuscan rustical elegance. Yes, a great view too! Very small parkings (but a lack of space does not allow to make them bigger), rather humble breakfast buffet. Still, it's a very good option for 1 or 2 nights. |

Good location (15 minutes from centre, 5 minutes from pedestrian zone). Nice landscape around it. Very quiet. It is shown as ***, but the official certificate behind the room door states it is only ** (understandably). The room was very small and very basic. The bathroom was uncomfortable (loo too close to the shower; shower space was minimum). Maintenance of the room was less than satisfactory (scratches and stain on the room walls; door mechanism broken: you could not lock it properly; one light spot in bathroom not working). Breakfast is also very basic: it is served on a nice terrace, but it is quite noisy, being close to the road. |

We were without a car so that the nearby bus service into town was really good and we found the hotel really relaxing and enjoyed the sunny terrace. The service was really friendly and efficiant and we thought the breakfasts were very good. |

Staff were friendly and helpful; we had a fine view across the valley whilst still being close to the city centre. After a flight and car drive, we felt immediately relaxed on arrival, enjoyed the terrace and the general ambience of the hotel and its location. Altogether we thought it was an excellent place to stay and if we return to Siena we'll certainly consider staying there again. |

Within walkablle distance to the center of the city. Good tips for food quality/service restaurants. the availability of a small refrigerator in the room would have been nice. |

Housed in a refurbished 18th century patrician villa, this small and cozy hotel is situated a few metres from Porta Romana; one of the medieval entrances to Siena’s historical centre. |
Hotel Athena is within the historic city walls, and enjoys spectacular views of Siena and the Tuscan hills. The cathedral and Piazza del Campo are a short walk away. |
Centrally located in Siena, close to the bus and railway stations, NH Excelsior provides clean and comfortable rooms. Piazza del Campo is just a short stroll away. |
Palazzo Bulgarini is an historic building set 150 metres from Piazza del Campo, the heart of Siena. Here you will find comfortable accommodation and a warm welcoming. |
