Set between the center of town and the main train station, Hotel Minerva offers fabulous views of Siena. Stay in clean, modestly furnished, spacious accommodations.

Loved the location and the view on the valley nearby, also liked free parking where I could leave my car also next day for few hours after check-out while visiting the city center again.
breakfast selection a bit poor, nothing warm, no way to get some scrambled eggs or such...
Free parking, reasonable distance from centre, view.
Very small bathroom and shower, short bed (only 6 foot), variable wi-fi.
So smull you have to sit sideways on toilette
Close to the city. Nice panorama view. Very friendly staff.
The location is very nice, breakfast was yummy and everyone was extremely friendly.
The walls were a bit too thin, you could hear a lot of what was going on in the adjoining rooms.
The location of the hotel is brilliant, just outside the city gate which is as far as you can get with a car. Only a short walk to the center of the city. The hotel has a magnificent view of the Tuscan countryside overlooking the valley. The room was adequate and the facilities were fine. Wi-Fi was fine and the staff gave us the username and password on arrival to avoid having to register. The breakfast was excellent, again overlooking the valley in a half indoor/half outdoor terrace. We stayed for two nights and could have quite happily stayed for longer. The staff were particularly helpful with excellent English and their local recomendations of where to eat and visit were well worth listening to. Our nicest meal of the holiday was off the receptionist's personal recomendation.
It would have been nice to have had air conditioning and it was a shame to have to pay €10 per person to use the hot tub although this is for your entire stay so if you're there a while, this isn't too bad. We only used it once and the people before us had basically let the hot tub cool down by not having it set correctly. The walls were a bit thin in the room so noise does travel but it's a quiet area so this wasn't really a problem.
Good location, 10-15 min walk through Siena to the central piazza. Good parking area, clean comfortable room, excellent view (from room P anyway) nice breakfast, friendly staff and well kept surroundings. Jacuzzi too but 10 Euros pp entry.
Views of Tuscany and the staff
Internet connection was poor
The staff, the location, the room, the view, the parking..!!
The breakfast was not great but OK for this price
We were for the second time here. Everything still the best: view, personel, room, location and of course cats outdoors :).
The location of the hotel is great 15 minute walk into the old town ( which u can't drive in anyway ) rooms have a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside and there is a deck which you can sit at and enjoy the views with a wine or beer - breakfast is great with fresh fruit, pastries etc
Was hard to not get water all over the floor when showering
- Free parking, just outside the main gate to city center. - View - Location - Friendly stuff
Very friendly stuff.
Siena being pedestrianised, having a hotel so close to the city walls with car parking made this ideal. The people were extremely friendly and helpful, telling us great places to eat on a student budget.
Location and staff
Noisy and small bathroom
Very good location close to old city; comfortable parking; super view from the hotel to Tuscany surrounding; friendly staff.
Everything was super
The view is superb. The walk into Siena only took us about 20mins.
The surroundings are wonderful. Beautiful patio with tables and chairs to enjoy the nature. There is a free and safe parking and the place is gated. The rooms and bathrooms are very well maintained and very clean but people should be aware that the rooms are very, very small. Unusually to other hotels there is only one night table and one tiny lamp in the room. This hotel is suitable for young and medium size people with no large luggage.
There is no elevator and no one to help with the luggage if needed. The rooms are very small and the walls are thin. It is such a pity that the place is so quiet outside but gets noisy inside.
We were traveling on motorcycles and appreciated having a secure place to park our bikes at night.
We liked everything - the location was great and the staff very courteous and helpful.
Quiet and rural feel 200m from the city wall. Good outdoor and parking facities.
Bathroom is cramped.
What a fantastic place! Great views, spotlessly clean, super helpful staff w/great command of languages, quiet. Easy walk into the wonderful town of Siena. Felt more like being at a resort than a hotel. Highest marks and great memories!
Nothing. Oh wait, the blow drier was a little funky. :)
Good parking Nice walk into Siena central Nice room
Good location. Very easy to find if coming by car and plenty of car parking spaces. Good views - good for an upstairs room if one available
Room quite small
Terrific view. Clean and well maintained. Helpful staff. Close to City wall gate. CNN and BBC news on cable.
room was small. This is third hotel that uses aWiFi gateway Internet sign on using our Social media accounts; is troublesome as the internet company states they will capture contacts. Gross violation of privacy. Push hotel to give you a user name and password.
