quiet oasis close but not in the fray of noisy city center. friendly service Although very helpful staff provided good recommendations for local restaurants, beware that some described as "not expensive" may not match your idea of affordability. |

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was charming. It was located in the old part of Bologna, within walking distance to to center of town and some of the major sights. |

The hotel staff, location, and breakfast (though rather basic, was still good) the air conditioner in the room made a lot of noise, and had to turn it off |

Excellent location for walking to the historic center of the city. Quiet location close to but off the main streets. Helpful staff. Very pleasant interior garden and glassed-in breakfast room. Generous buffet breakfast. A little difficult to reach by car because of location on small side street with multiple one-way streets to get there. Limited parking. |

While it is not quite in the center of things, we found it quite convenient and a delightful surprise...the little garden courtyard and charming breakfast room...and the best breakfast by far of all we had in Italy! |

Highlight is breakfast in courtyard garden setting. Full breakfast is served, including variety of fresh baking and fruit. Staff are very helpful--arranged an excellent tour of a cheesmaker in Parma for my husband and me. |

Wonderful hotel - so cute & quaint. Loved everything about it...the walk to my room through the garden and breakfast veranda, the view from my room. The staff was great - they even brought me to my room and carried my luggage. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent - many choices. I made a last minute change to my stay and that was not a problem at all. The location is not the best if you need to return to the hotel throughout the day. If you leave to go out for the whole day, it is not a problem. And there are some nice restaurants along the perimeter as well. |

The staff was amazing! Friendly, helpful, they went out of their way to help me mail a package at the post office. I'd go back just because of that, but the hotel was nice as well. |

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and engaging. We felt comfortable right from the start. Breakfast was generous with a variety of choices and very tasty.This is a great hotel, and at the recommdation of the staff the meal at the local tratoria down the street was one of the best we had during our travels in Italy. |
