Decent price for a room and has a cute patio where they serve a simple breakfast
Room did not look anything like the picture! And it was not very clean. Floor had not been swept, had a chair that was peeling bits of faux leather, baseboards were coming off the wall. There were two ladies that work there that were friendly and helpful but the two guys that work there were not at all. As an example, we had a plastic pipe disconnect from the toilet spraying water everywhere - I ran out and told the guy at the desk and he barely looked up from the tv and said "i cant fix it" when I asked if we should switch to a new room he said "no" i told him again that our toilet just broke and spewed water everywhere and he said "let me come see it" then he called the other guy who grumpily replaced the plastic piece but he didnt clean the floor and was very reluctant to give us more towels when we used the towels we had to clean up the toilet water. As another example when we asked the guy if he did wake up calls he said "if I am awake I will call you" ... he didnt call but was sleeping on the couch in the lobby when we left
Great location, near Termini station and perfect for walking to most of the attractions (Coliseum, Roman Forum and etc.) Great value for money - clean room with a full set of towels, nice touch of toiletries as tootbrush, comb even in high category hotels don`t provide it always. Fast check in and as well has been given a free tourist map and briefly explanation of the main attractions. Budget breakfast-(eggs,yogurt, croissants, coffee and a small sponge cake) but good for quick bite before the long day.
It was a nice touch that they`ve provided us a room away from the main road as we reguested for a quite one but the room was located opposite the small terrace/garden where the breakfast has been served so you can hear people voices, moving chairs and etc. As well there was a horrible smell of cigarettes coming from our bathroom and we found that actually that smell was comming from the next door which was for a private use of the staff.
Friendly staff Courtyard garden Large room
Cramped shower and leaking toilet Noise from street
Location was good and staff were helpful with any requests.
Breakfast was basically non existent, so don't expect too much and the beds and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable.
Staff was helpful.
When i was booking for this hotel, i asked for double bed instead of twin. They sent me an approved massage. But when we arrived to the hotel, the receptionist told me that they don't have a room with double bed. Fortunately she said that they have another hotel in neighborhood with double bed. We went the hotel which named "Rome Hotel Love". The hotel was fine but the neighborhood is a kinda Chinatown. By the way, the pictures of hotel Portafortuna B&B in the site are not true. Pictures of the bathroom is from the other hotel.
Staff is fab and location fantastic
The price for the spec, but I believe this is due to the generally ridiculous high prices in rome
Just cake for breakfast.
The way HPS arranged everything for us was amazing
Close to station, clean, convenient. Good service.
Good location while waiting for our trip by train to Venice (close to Termini station). Clean room and value for money if you do not want to spend too much money on accommodation. Nice range of TV channels, close to supermarket and friendly staff.
Breakfast, interrupted WiFi, staff not speaking good English
Free wifi connection
Poor breakfast, old furniture, noisy neighbourhood, mosquitos
