easy transportation to & from hotel. The room is good, average size, quite, & clean.
the breakfast is poor.
Desk staff were very helpful.
Further than we thought to Railway Termini. Breakfast quite basic, but okay. Lighting in room poor.
location was good. trolly and taxi rank across the road
paid wifi not good enough, everywhere we stayed had inclusive wifi of price breakfast was below average uptight staff
FRONT DESK people very friendly & helpful - sp the elderly gentleman at the desk
I booked for HP but they sent me to another unit of theirs, which was good also .
good location within a short walk of excellent local restaurants. The staff were helpful and it was nice to have a roof terrace. The hotel was clean and well maintained.
Traffic noise at the front of the hotel would bother a light sleeper. refreshments werent available on the terrace until 4pm little choice at breakfast and not refilled enough so that by 9am not much left.
Staff were very friendly and helpful who worked hard for guests, under very difficult circumstances. Rome termini was about a 10 minute walk.
Location was on a busy roundabout, with heavy traffic and very noisy at night. Our room look rout over the roundabout, would suggest staying in a roof at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was self service with limited choice of food. Only 2 coffee machines for over 400 guests. At one point only one coffee machine was working. The hotel catered for large groups. The 2 hotel lifts were small and you could only fit 2 guests with luggage. No free wifi, and TV reception was poor to the point where it was never used. I
Pillow was like cement. Staff impersonal.
breakfast was not bad, also it's not too far from the center
Uncomfortable old beds, old bathroom, noise both outside and inside the hotel. Asked for a double bed and got two single beds. Internet not free. TV low quality and bad signal. The list can go on.
staff was friendly bathroom was clean
far from city if you want to walk beds are not comfortable room was not very clean
Good room service, rooftop bar
Close to railway station and busses
Shower curtain kept creeping up on you when in very small shower. There weren't any good restaurants or bars within walking distance. Although the hotel is fairly close to the railway station, it is not within walking distance of anything else. Staff very unhelpful. Lots of tour groups made finding a breakfast table impossible, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table.
The hotel is about within walking distance of the main railway station and the coliseum. Yet it is far enough away from the tourist spots that one can enjoy food and drink at places that appeared to be locally owned. Being able to avoid American chain restaurants that often spoil the tourist spots was a real plus.
Although the hotel was clean, the bathroom facilities could have been better. The shower stall was quite small and no matter how I adjusted the curtain, water spilled out onto the floor.
Close to Roma Termini station, and 20 minutes walk from the Colosseum. Helpful staff in general.
Very uncomfortable beds. Bathroom so small you are touching the shower curtain once the water is running. Poor breakfast.
The location was good
The room was cold in August
the front desk people very rude very small shower bathroom barely clean the beds are old and uncomfortable
un poco aislado de la ciudad
Loved the guys in the breakfast dining room, they were what makes that place tick over nicely, they made guest feel like they were important, and made sure we knew where everything was, even making some real Italian coffee for us, well done there.
Having a room that smelt like a sewerage, when we complained the first time, no one went up to investigate, I mean some one must have know about the smell, the shower cubicle hopeless in second room we were moved to curtain didn't cover where water splashed out, so had to use all the towels to mop it up, the bedew didn't have a plug in it, so could t use it, television didn't go even asking for it to be fixed, was told they couldn't get any ken at that stage to fix it and the bed in first room a bit hard, second room the bed a lot better.
Staffs are very rude. They seems to have no time for anything. Behaving like they have offered a free stay. Many things in the room are faulty - AC, shower, wardrobes. Single small lift for so many room. Wait for 5-10 min for lift. Bad breakfast no variety. Location is neither near to Rail station nor any famous spot. You have to travel at least 20-30 min in bus/tram.
Good for the price, a tram and a busstation next to the hotel, most sightseeing points fast to reach
Very loud, a lot of traffic, room smells, without air condition smells less, but impossible to sleep with open Window because of noise, no tv, breakfast same things every day, cheap
Our entire stay at HPM was excellent. It was more than what we expected with the reasonable amount we paid for. The staff, hotel room, breakfast are all good. They even allow guests to leave their luggage at the hotel even after check-out. For us it was very convenient. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Rome.
Didn't dislike anything at all.. Maybe just add toothbrush and toothpaste to the toiletries provided?(but this is no big of a deal) Then it'll be perfect!
The hotel was central & the staff were helpful
Neither of the bathrooms we were given had shower curtains. Perhaps this is normal in Rome
Excellent staff. Easy access to public transportation and shops.
Very noisy when on main street side. Few TV stations.
Close to Termini Train Station
Breakfast should have had fresh fruit with it! Beds were hard as ROCK...absolutely no give in the beds!!! Staff was helpful but not friendly at all...very sober, like it was a chore to help us! Showers so small, you turn and bump off the water and only shower curtains so water goes all over floor...not modern at all...very old!
Nothing at all.
Room too dark, no access to terrace garden bar for the disabed you have to climb a spiral staircase & one flight of stairs to reach it. The breakfast was very poor consisting of hard rolls, warm coffee, ham & cheese cereals, packet toast. The restaurant meal was rubbish & the staff were very unfriendly & not very helpful at all.
Close to restaurants and in the old city. Loved the atmosphere.
