Hotel Porto Pozzo  

Hotel manager called 1 wk prior to my stay - 5 months after my reservation - whether I could come 3 nights later as he apparently had a double booking. I said "no", yet he insisted on his request. Eventually he said he would solve it in a different way. This gave me uncertainty until the day we arrived whether we would actually have a room. We did have a room.

Nice Hotel, situated on the main street. Good Breakfast.

You really should have a car. The cleaning staff starts working at 8:00 and unfortunatly from this time on the night is finished.

We booked a standard room which was very large and overlooking the pool The hotel served as a good base for visiting the towns along the coast and Le Meddalena which is well worth a visit.

The hotel charged us 18euro each for an entertainment charge. However there was no real entertainment to speak of. Other hotels we have stayed at that charge an entertainment charge *did* provide value for money with a professional program of entertainment throughout the day and evening. However here we felt we had zero value. The location of the hotel means you really need a car as there is nothing close by. Although Porto Pozzo is only 1/2 a mile away the road is dangerous to walk along as there are no pavements. Porto Pozzo is a very small town with few facilities. Palau was the closest town with nice facilities and some decent restaurants I can recommend Robertinos sea food restaurant in Palau. Breakfast at the hotel was very poor no cooked food only one type of bread one cheese and one ham. Fruit (tinned!) and cake were finished by 9:30 ad not replaced although they did have a huge selection if spreads and jams they only served americano coffee no espresso or cappuccino !

The room had a noisy air-conditioning unit (at least ours was so noisy that we had to turn it off and stand the almost 30 degrees at night). All the staff were only Italian speakers (they can't even understand english).

Bonjour, Ayant passé 2 nuits, ch 314, j'en suis enchantée, le personnel très accueillant. Le seul défaut, c'est à l'accueil où le "français" était peu parlé..;, J'ai donc dû parler en anglais.. Pour ceux qui ne parlent pas anglais, c'est un peu gênant. En dehors de cela, tout est très bien !! bravo pour cette installation en pleine nature, reposante, avec lever et coucher de soleil suparbes

La seule chose qui manque pour moi, c'est une glace (ou 2) dans la chambre (il y a assez de place sur les murs ou portes . Cela ne m'emprêchera pas de revenir chez vous et de recommander cet hôtel à mes amis !!! Croyez en mes sentiments les meilleurs. Mme monique de cornuleir

Io e il mio compagno siamo rimasti molto colpiti dalla buonissima cucina del ristorante, dallo staff sempre molto cordiale e disponibile! Volevamo in oltre ringraziare gli animatori Filippo Andrea Caterina e Cleandra perché sono stati fantastici e ci hanno fatto divertire moltissimo!! Esperienza consigliata per tutti!! Noi infatti torneremo!!!

Piccolissimo difetto la scarsa ricezzione di canali televisivi..

Ottima posizione, vicinissimo alle spiagge più belle della zona, a 12 minuti da Santa Teresa e a 15 da Palau. Struttura recente e ben curata, stanza spaziosa (junior suite) e carina. Personale disponibile, ottima la cucina (scelta fra 3 primi, 3 secondi + serata tipica sarda), colazione ben assortita. Ci siamo trovati veramente molto bene.

Condizionatore effettivamente un pò rumoroso. Noi avendo una junior suite usavamo quello del salottino, sufficiente per entrambe le stanze.

Sehr neue, gepflegte, saubere Anlage incl. dem Pool. Tägl. frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Ein Auto ist sehr empfehlenswert. Alle Hotelangestellte waren freundlich und stets bemüht alle erfragten Wünsche zu erfüllen. Sprachkenntnisse in Englisch erforderlich. Die Nebenkosten für Getränke waren gering. Frühstücksbuffet für Italien gut mit Brötchen, Chroissants, Joghurt, Dosenobst, Marmelade, Honig, Nutella, Salami, Schinken, Käse, Kaffee,Tee und Saft. Bei Halbpension abends Menüwahl von jeweils 3 Vor- u. Hauptspeisen u. Dessert. Superschöne Sandstrände in der Nähe mit kristallklarem Wasser. Eine traumhaft schööööne Bootstour ab Hafen Porto Pozzo in das Maddalena Archipel war fantastisch!!!!!!! Palau und Santa Teresa zum Bummeln schön. CapoTesta mit den riesigen Granitsteinen sollte man sich ansehen :-)

Keine Frottee-Handtücher sondern nur aus Baumwollstoff. Keine Abwechslung beim Frühstücksbuffet tägl. immer das gleiche, keine Eier ebenso abends beim Salatbüffet täglich die gleichen 4 Sorten Salat.

Le camere, dislocate in casette a due piani, sono piacevolmente immerse nel verde e si sentono gli uccellini cinguettare. La struttura è nuovissima.

Come in gran parte della Sardegna, la connessione Internet wi fi è possibile solo nella Hall e l'Internet box con scheda tim non si collega alla rete locale.Anche I programmi tv sono limitati.

Neuere Hotelanlage

Wenige Tage vor Saisonschluss wirkte die Anlage nicht mehr ganz gepflegt.Sehr einfaches Frühstück.

Wir hatten eine sog. Juniorsuite, sehr grosszügig, incl. Kühlschrank, mit 2 Balkonen. Handtücher, so dünn wie Geschirrtücher, wurden täglich gewechselt. Die Kellner im Frühstücksraum wraen ganz freundlich und bemüht.

Hotel liegt unmittelbar an einer stark befahrenen Strasse. Nächster Badestrand nur mit pkw zu erreichen. Rezeptionspersonal war nicht sehr bemüht. Zimmer wurden nicht richtig gereinigt, lediglich gefegt, nicht feucht gewischt. Bettwäsche wurde 2 Wochen lang nicht gewechselt. Der Fernseher hatte ca. 7 vers. Fernseh-Programme, der Empfang war allerdings zum Augenverderben. Nur ein deutsches Prorgamm: zdf Unsere Suite war in einem Nebengebäude, daher etwas ruhiger, allerdings musste man die Koffer, Kinderwagen O.ä. ziemlich viele Treppen hochtragen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für italienische Verhältnisse okay, aber langweilig. Einige Prodikte waren zwischendurch nicht mehr verfügbar, 1-2 Tage später, gab es sie dann wieder. War eher etwas unprofessionell.

Son apartamentos, con todas las comodidades que supone esto: no hay ruido, puedes sentarte en las mesitas de afuera...

Esta entre santa teresa de gallura y palau ( equidistante a 15 minutos en coche de cada pueblo). Esto puede suponer una ventaja o incoveniente, depende como se mire.
