Hotel Porto Roca  

Perfekt läge alldeles invid 5-terre. Mycket bra hotellmed utmärkt service.

Allt var till belåtenhet. Personalen trevlig och servicevänlig. Maten var fantastisk och utsikten var enastående. Kan mycket väl tänka mig att bo här igen.

Vi hade en fantastisk resa och Porto Roca var en stor bidragande faktor till detta. Utsikten från rummet var enastående och vi ville nästan inte lämna vår fina terass. Det var en njutning varje gång vi kom hem. Otroligt trevlig personal, hög grad av service (taxi kom till och med och hämtade på stationen) och god mat. Vi längtar redan efter att åka tillbaka. Våra varmaste rekommendationer att bo på detta hotell som i särklass är bäst i hela Cinque Terre

Although the room was average, the views from the balcony room 220 were amazing. The staff were excellent and the restaurant first class. Despite 5 star service and food in the restaurant, prices were average and we ate there 4 nights in a row. The whole place is picturesque and a very pleasant memory.

This was a great hotel with the best view if you had a room with a view of the sea. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was varied. Bed was comfortable. It was expensive but worth the money. The walk up the hill certainly got the heart rate up. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Dinner in the restaurant was a good experience but was a bit formal. Much more relaxing to dine in Monterosso.

My wife and I both loved our time spent at the Hotel Porto Roca. Views from our terrace were unbelievable. Restaurant was superb, both the food and the service. The bar tender, Simone, was fantastic. Front desk was extremely helpful. We will return!!! If we're lucky!!!

Staff were efficient but cold. Walk up to hotel was difficult for an older person. Shuttle should have been more available. Terrible laundry facilities. Breakfast was marginal.

I loved the location of the hotel. The hotel overlooks the ocean and is right next to trail #2 from Monterosso to Vernazza. The breakfast buffet was excellent with both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the ocean. My room had a balcony overlooking the ocean. Taxi pickup part of the room fees. Hotel staff is very professional and friendly. Hotel is located a short walk from the center of town in a quiet location.

Nothing. Breakfast is only available until 10 AM on weekends and could be extended - not a problem if you know ahead of time but since it is for leisure, one sometimes likes to sleep late.

Room was lovely and in a great location. Breakfast was also very nice.

They did not have our booking when we arrived - luckily they had rooms still available but it was not a good way to start. Receptionist was quite rude and unwelcoming.

Superb location and view. Great deck off room. Superb front desk has all knowledge of hiking trails/things to do in the area.

9' X10' room was cramped. Inadaquate location to set up and work with computer. Bath smelled of mold even after maintenance tried to rectify the problem twice. Furniture/room worn and dated.

Had a great view of the ocean and shoreline. Desk clerks were very friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful location just outside of the village. We enjoyed a seaside room with a terrace overlooking the sea with beautiful views. Breakfast offered good variety. The walk up to the hotel was rigorous but we enjoyed the view. Very nice sitting area outside of the hotel to have a drink and take in the view.

I liked the fantastic view we had of the ocean.

The bed mattress no too comfortable, air condition unit rattled a bit.

The views from the rooms were excellent (if you request a seaside view). The balcony was spacious and private. The location on the top of the cliff offered privacy and exclusion from the busy city.

Very very very highly priced for the size and amenities of the room. There was barely space to walk around the bed and we had ants in our room. You are definitely paying for the view.

Our room was Beautifully situated overlooking the water with a balcony. We ate dinner in their restraint and the head waiter brought our cheese and after dinner drink to our balcony! Very accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and up to date.

We had a lot of trouble locating the parking for the hotel. You need to park in a lot, then a taxi takes you to the hotel. The hotel picks up the tab for the taxi, but it took us over an hour to find the parking.

The hotel was excellent, the staff was extremely helpful with requests for reservations and the views were amazing. A fantastic stay- food in the restaurant was excellent. The ride to and from the train station to the hotel was wonderful.

Magnificent views. Our room was vey nice. The complimentary shuttle for arrival and departure was appreciated; same for the beach pass. And of course the staff was wonderful and attentive. A relaxing, beautiful spot.

My wife and I are mid 60s and the trail to and from was challenging especially after a full day of walking and touring. The price was on the higher side of the 5 Accomodations booked on the 3 week trip. The value was there, but on the high end.
