Hotel Portonuovo  

Brilliant hotel, not in Vieste but that's not a problem as the hotel's minibus goes frequently into town. Michele, the bar manager was probably one of the best things about the hotel. He is very friendly and always happy and will recommend great restaurants to visit in town. The beach is very close, very clean and a lot less busier than the beaches nearer to town. The pool is also great at the hotel, it comes with a jacuzzi. We went in the quiet period, mainly Italians and Germans visit the area and stay at the hotel but all the staff speaks some English. There is good entertainment for children that includes lots of dancing and singing in Italian. The only English song we heard was Hockey Cockey. :-) Breakfast is excellent, a lot of variety to choose from. We had only one dinner in the hotel restaurant and that was very good (my partner tried rabbit for the first time). The waiters take their job seriously and are very courteous and polite. The room and the shower are very spacious and there is air-con. The hotel is still very new and modern, we've been told it's 8 years old.

Beware, the wind on the beach can be quite strong and we got burnt on the first day. can't say anything negative about the hotel.

Hotel très agréable situé dans un beau parc au calme. L'accueil est très sympathique et c'est dommage de n'y rester qu'une nuit...

Il y a bien un frigidaire dans la chambre mais...il est vide

La professionalità del maitre, l'ottima cucina, la bella spiaggia. Forse l'animazione serale un po' troppo rumoroso. Bravi.

L'estrema cortesia del personale, davvero impeccabile: in particolare Michele (il barman della piscina) e il maitre del ristorante. Il trattamento speciale di benvenuto dato che eravamo sposini. La colazione è eccellente.

Difficile trovare aspetti negativi. Se proprio vogliamo essere puntigliosi (ma è davvero un'inezia) la tv in camera è un po' datata ma non ha pesato sul soggiorno perchè l'abbiamo usata quasi per niente.

Uitstekend hotel met een goede prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. Vriendelijk personeel, behulpzaam. Goede, ruime kamers. Prima ontbijtbuffet.

Gentilezza, efficienza e attenzione da parte di tutto il personale. Ottima e varia cucina. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Bello il mare e la spiaggia.

Cordialita' e disponibilita di tutto lo staff, pulizia e comfort delle camere e ottima cucina.

Assenza di servizio bar e wc nella spiaggia riservata ai clienti dell'hotel e un po la lontananza da negozi, ristoranti e svaghi extra animazione e servizi del villaggio.

La qualità e la quantità dei servizi offerti compresi nel prezzo (accesso alla piscina, parcheggio auto, ombrellone e lettini nella spiaggia, escurzioni direttamente organizzate dall'hotel); gentilezza e competenza del personale; spettacoli e attività dello staf di animazione cordiale e divertente ma mai invadente; ottima posizione a pochi passi dal mare

discontinuità sul funzionamento dell'aria condizionata in camera soprattutto durante le ore notturne

Cortesia e disponibilità del personale, pulizia ed ordine dei locali e della spiaggia, qualità del cibo. Tranquillità !!!

Non è una "critica" ascrivibile all'hotel Portonuovo ma al sistema di indicazioni viarie esistente in zona! E' una vera babele!! Ogni incrocio è zeppo di cartelli (che vorrebbero essere) informativi di ogni genere, posti alla rinfusa, atti a creare disagio ed....incidenti (per poterli "utilizzare" bisognerebbe fermarsi ad ogni incrocio e "cercare" l'indicazione che serve! Cortesi I ragazzi dell'animazione ma ....... da animare! Sull'arenile, a circa 200 metri dalla spiaggia a servizio dell'hotel (pulita ed organizzata), "sfociano" due ruscelli che, pur "apparentemente" limpidi, talvolta sono risultati non proprio privi di odori (non parlo di olezzi, ma di odori!). Nessuno ci ha saputo indicare la loro "origine".

In der Zeit Mitte Juni waren vergleichsweise wenige Urlauber anwesend,nur an den Wochenenden wurde es etwas lebhafter.Am Strand waren wir zeitweise fast alleine,das Meerwasser hatte bereits eine angenehme Temperatur,etwas störend war der häufig kräftige Wind. Auch am Pool (durch den umliegenden Baumbestand windgeschützt) hatten wir überwiegend unsere Ruhe . Erst ab ca.17 Uhr meinten sogenannte Animateure überlaute Musik machen zu müssen,für welche es in dieser Urlaubszeit noch gar nicht das passende Publikum gab.Die Verpflegung war gut.Das Personal war freundlich,aber gleichzeitig unaufdringlich.Die Sauberkeit war zufriedenstellend.

Wie oben erwähnt,gab es ab ca. 17 Uhr täglich eine unsinnige Musik-Beschallung am Pool,ausgerichtet auf ein jugendliches Publikum,welches zum Zeitpunkt Mitte Juni gar nicht anwesend war.Auch am Abend wurde regelmäßig auf der vorhandenen Mini-Bühne neben dem Pool von den jugendlichen Animateuren Gruppen-Tanzgymnastik für die Altersklasse 6 bis 14 Jahre aufgeführt - jeden Abend dieselbe Prozedur,irgendwie unpassend läppisch. Wir konnten uns mit Hilfe unseres Mietwagens jeden Abend nach Vieste absetzen.Ein solcher ist zur abendlichen Flucht undedingt erforderlich,wenn man nicht ohnehin mit dem eigenen Fahrzeug angereist ist.

Pool mit integrierter Bar, die auch in der Vorsaison lange geöffnet war; besonders hervorzuheben ist die Ruhe im ganzen Hotel; das Frühstücksbufett ist hervorragend, wird immer wieder aufgefüllt, Eier in allen Variationen können bestellt werden. Das angebotene Abendmenue ist sehr reichhaltig, es gibt ein Vorspeisenbufett, anschl. 3 Gänge, die sich sehen lassen können für 25,00 €, Bestens zu empfehlen.

Hotel très bien situé, au calme, dans une pinède, à 3km de la ville de vieste. Il n'y a que la route à traverser pour se rendre sur une plage immense où vous attendent vos transats et votre parasol.Excellent rapport qualité/prix avec petit déjeuner inclus. Menu du soir correct à prix raisonnable. Personnel attentif. En début de saison (fin Mai/début Juin), c'est génial, il n'y a presque personne et il fait beau !

La posizione è ottima sia per il mare sia per visitare posti nel Gargano. A pochi minuti di auto da Vieste. Ottima sia la piscina sia la spiaggia attrezzata. Il personale si è mostrato gentilissimo, prodigandosi per permetterci di utilizzare anche altre spiagge.
