Brand new, fresh and modern, Seven Hostel offers affordable accommodations with great services and a convenient location near the middle of Sorrento and the Circumvesuviana train station.
Score from 244 reviews Very good
Admire the view of the Bay of Naples at Domus San Vincenzo in Sant'Agnello. Dating back to the 16th century, this interesting property is run by a convent.
Score from 173 reviews Very good
Back to Sorrento offers accommodation in a historic 17th century palazzo in Sant'Agnello, 2.5 km from Sorrento and a 17-minute drive from Vico Equense. It features free WiFi.
Score from 52 reviews Wonderful
Il Sireneo is located next to a small beach in Vico Equense, 3 km from the centre and a 20-minute drive from Sorrento. It features a furnished sun terrace with views of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

Room character wonderful. Most staff good. Breakfast not bad. Sleep quality not bad mostly.
Noisy on social nights (with band or karaoke) into around 2 a.m.
Quiet location, away from the busyness of Sorrento and near the water (although no water views). The walk to Sorrento is lovely. Pleasant garden to sit and have a quiet drink in the evening. Plenty of restaurants nearby - including ones overlooking the Mediterranean. Spacious quiet room. Pleasant, helpful staff. Unpretentious.
The common indoor space (bar) could be more comfortable (a minor quibble).
The hotel is close to sea view, but not to beach. Since it's a former convent the room was simple, but well appointed and pretty spacious. There's a lovely garden in which to have a late night drink. With some good management this place could really be a stellar property.
The bus system is awful and there is no schedule; "it comes every half hour" is the standard answer and it's not true. Hotel is a far hike to the central city area. The food in the so-called restaurant is drastically over-salted, although the home made chips are quite good. The staff varied widely in friendliness.
We liked the million dollar view of the Bay of Naples from our window. Breakfast was reasonable in quality and selection. Great price considering the Sorrento locale. Good and inexpensive (locals-mostly) restaurant down the street - il Pendolo.
WiFi was in and out. No clean towels provided for 3 days (good that we hung up our towels). Weekend noise from the adjacent hotel party 'til after midnight. Somewhat inconvenient location about 1.5 miles from downtown (we used that to our advantage finding il Pendolo).
Extremely loud. Listened to the pounding music from the bar and partying people through the night until 4:00 am. Some of our group had to share the bathroom with a group if teenage girls who apparently couldn't hold their liquor. I would not recommend this place.
Strong Wifi signal Garden outside bar Private bath
No A/C and no way to circulate air (fan would be nice) My showeer in the AM ran completely out of water.
The room, the view the quiet!
I wanted to eat dinner in the dining area but was turned away at first by a disagreeable waiter. It was a little tricky to get to from Naples.
A bit far away by Sorrento, the bus to get you in the centre is coming hard.
Quiet area, cheap place to stay.
The location is at 1.5 km of sorrento, the bus to get you in the center is coming hard.
Friendly staff gave us a warm welcome nothing was too much trouble. The room we had was large with a fabulous view of the bay. Very quite, slept with the window open! Great to have free secure car parking on site.
Breakfasts really needed some improvement. We ate out while we were there.
Great location away from hustle and bustle of Sorrento itself. Pool was a bonus. Local restaurants were excellent.
Bar service was slow. Difficult to find staff at times. Noisy at night.
Great spot to get to sorrento away from the crowds.
Very poor wifi in the bedroom
have its own parking clean and silent nice view from the room decent breakfast good price
extremly small rooms. far away fromm beaches and sorento , minimum 25 minutes walking
Buffet breakfast with friendly lady in kitchen. Good wifi. Sink in room. Very clean including shared bathroom.
We were asked what time we would check in, we arrived bang on time, the staff were 30 minutes late and not even a glimmer of an apology. The desk staff never acknowledge you when you walk through reception (doesn't really matter, but wouldn't take much effort). 'Double' bed is 2 single beds pushed together. The room in no way, shape or form resembled the one in the picture other than that it had white walls. I almost had to walk sideways around all sides of the bed, the room was so small.
The pictures of the rooms were complete different to the ones shown on the website. I was told free breakfast until 11am yet the breakfast had been packed up by 10:30. The room which had originally been on display was as least twice the size of the shoebox sized room we were given
Domus Porto Salvo is a great hotel in terms of comfort, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Located near the sea in a quiet area, the hotel exceeded my expectations!
Staff not knowledgable, beds uncomfortable, difficult to find
Our stay there was generally alright. The location is some way off the center of Sorrento and close to the beach. Breakfasts were decent. Internet was working about as well as it ever gets in hotels.
The air conditioning was basically never working. It was broken when we arrived so they kept promising for several days it'll be fixed 'tomorrow.' When they said it's fixed, it still didn't make the room much cooler and it seems like it was switched completely off during the day. The staff handled the situation pretty poorly, giving us false promises every day etc. Luckily it wasn't extremely hot while we were there but still it was upsetting. There was also loud music playing outside during evenings until about midnight, which didn't let us go to sleep.
Parking available, that is very rare.
We had shared bathroom for entire floor that was not ensuite making it difficult to plan and leave early in the morning. Air conditioner had to be turned on by hotel staff, but barely made a difference. For practical purposes, there was no air conditioning.
No AC, very noisy
- Great Wi-Fi cover. - Nice and helpfull staff - Small and relaxing swiming pool - Fancy decoration
- Air conditioner not working - Staff didnt change the towels. They just picked them up from the floor and put them back and hang them again as new. - Bathroom outside of the room. - No elevator in the hotel.
Marike on reception was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble - always very gracious and with a smile.
The breakfasts were ordinary. During our stay, one staff member was up partying loudly until all hours with other guests. Almost impossible to sleep. Facilities very basic.
Quiet, convenient, not bustle of Sorrento
The semi-secure courtyard parking was good.
The location was difficult to find since the property was renamed to Purple - and we were not advised of this. In all three rooms we booked, NONE of the air conditioning worked. One room didn't have an on suite bathroom. This was inconvenient - the bathroom that was provided down the hall was in poor condition.
Staff were friendly.
No elevator to take luggage up.
