The hotel is in a superb location in the heart of Orvieto, and the reception area gives a good initial impression. The ensuite bathroom was a good size, and included a bath-tub (and plentiful hot water) - a rare treat these days. The Wi-Fi was easy to access, and the coffee at breakfast was very good. The overall price was very good value for such a central location.
We found the bed a bit too hard, and there were no in-room coffee-making facilities. It was a surprise to find no TV in the room, although it wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast was a limited choice, with no cereals on offer - just rather sticky croissants, pre-packaged toast, and rolls. The room could do with a refresh - the paint was tired, and the garden could do with a make-over - a shame, as it was a pleasant outside space to sit.
Proprietor was inefficient calculating the final bill
