Nice helpfull people at reception, good location, Nice old atmosphere. Price quality is ok, you feel napoli inside hotel
Sleep comfort was not good but mAnagement solved this. Breakfast is really poor with old Bread and no choice at All. Showers are not. really clean but was ok for me.
very very little
I thought I was on a hidden camera show with the antics of the receptionist. 40 mins to book someone in. awful, depressing hotel. Ive travelled a lot and I wasnt looking for 5 stars and i know what a bed for a night is - this place was one of the worst hotels ive ever seen.
the bed the staff was creepy the area was not safe the beds were uncomfortable I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy....
The hotel has good taxi service: after you pay 20 euros you get a coupon that you show to taxi driver, so you are free of potentially unpleasant situations with taxi service that tourists are usually faced with.
Located into very dangerous part of Naples ( Central Train Station Garibaldi), the hotel perfectly fits into atmosphere of surrounding streets overcrowded with immigrants, pickpockets and prostitutes. The lobby was dirty, dark, with odor characterized for an old building that needs serious renovation. Although the linen was clean, the room itself looked very shabby and dirty. Old furniture could not hide the traces of greasy surfaces deposited over time and they could not obviously been removed . The worst point of the room was the bathroom. It was so dirty that I wondered if I risk any kind of fungal-infection. Black deposits of „ something“ discerned in the corners of the shower cubicle. Instead of classic towels it was something that resembles on kitchen shabby rags. Consequently, I used my own towels. The odor of humidity spread everywhere. I felt it even during the night in spite of opening balcony door. After miraculous smell of lemon trees on Sorrento streets, the odor from the Naple's hotel was a terror to my nose. As the city bus doesn't drive to the airport before 6:30 ( I had to be on airport about 5. am) I took a taxi. In this case, the hotel has good service: after you pay 20 euros you get a coupon that you show to taxi driver, so you are free of potentially unpleasant situations with taxi service that tourists are usually faced with.
picture of the room is not real dirty walls
The breakfast was quite good with fresh warm Croissants.
No Tv in the room, as it said. The balcony is not really a balcony. Hot water for a shower only if you are lucky.
We loved that there was an excellent restaurant and a cafe across the street. The train station was only a few blocks away. We were aware that this would be I'm old part of city We loved old buildings.
The street was quite noisy so light sleepers would not enjoy. Lots of trash on streets.
towels were old and had stains; the location is too noisy and the bedrooms are not soundproof, the mattress was very old and in bad state, breakfast too poor.
location, price, towels,
the slowness of handling/resolving my complaints
Location is alright
WiFi only works at reception, breakfast is very poor, room doesn't look at all like on the pictures, room wasn't even ready at 3pm, once we were locked out of the hotel for 15min!!!!!, mattress is extremely old= maybe it will be better in the future since there are renovations going on, but for now it's definitely overpriced and doesn't deserve a 3* rating
Front desk area tattered & dirty. Hallways dark and dirty. Walls in the room were dirty & the ceiling largely water stained. Shower too nasty to use. Poor location, nervous walking in the area,
Location - very close to Garibaldi train station. Bed ok, room clean.
Air condition didn't work. I called reception and they told me it's not even supposed to work. So I had to sleep with windows wide open, which was noisy. Elevators barely work. Building is shared with other offices and enterprises, so random people may roam around freely.
Uncomfortable rooms, bad breakfast.
Aircons did not work and leaked on floor. Toilet did not have seat. Shower was not clean. Towels were ridiculous. Front desk service was non existent. Breakfast was terrible-kitchen staff were screaming at each other throughout breakfast. Inner court yard was filthy.
Bed was ancient, room was terrifying
- it is close to the central station
- the bedsheets had stains. - not all the rooms had air conditioning (ours was dripping inside and could not be turned on for too long) - there is wi-fi only in the lobby. - the elevator is bearly working
I want a refund on this hotel!!!! it was the worst hotel ive ever stayed in my entire life!! the room was dirty and unhygenic. shower curtain had mauld on it and was torn and the railing was bend and only suspended by one screw. When i showered all the water went out the shower and onto the floor but instead of the water draining to the central hole in the bathroom for such events it flowed directly into the bed area. the entire floor was wet when i got out of the mould infested broken shower. this intern wet my bag and my clothes. this caused more disasters for my 2 day trip in napoli! The towels were not even clean they had black streaks on the "white" towls. I brought a towel with and used that instead. I used the "white towel from the hotel to dry up the floor. The electrical plugs were not attached correctly and live wires were visible! The place had a housing for a tv but ithere was no tv. The room had dust everywhere. after i finally got into bed i awoke to the sound of screaming outside from a women screaming for her companions life as a fight broke out and a glass bottle was broken and he got stabbed which I had to witness.Themorning came and breakfast was being seved upstirs on the 5th floor. The elevator that takes you up there sounded like it could crash any second. At the 5th floor you are welcomed by construction to the floor of some sort and overhead dangling wires that i had to duck as to not touch them. the area was unsafe but there was a proper barrier between you and certain danger. The one staircase could swollow up a kid or any one that does not watch were they going on fall off the edge as there is no rail. So finilly i get to the "breakfast area" but there is no one in sight. the only thing they have t eat is stale bread and a type of crossant in a packet. the milk for the coffee or tea was bubbly. Thank god i booked only for 2 nights.
Close to railway station. Good price. We were let to check-in early (at 9 a.m. - thanks!!!) Fridge, airconditioner and fan in the room
poor breakfast. not clean noisy place
Take care of the nighboorhood - we had a street robery near the main station
Filthy tiny room in a filthy hotel. When I complained the room looked nothing like the internet pictures and we were leaving,we were moved to a better room a little like the photo but still grubby. We left after one night. The area is horrible, dirty and dangerous. ( from south africa so fairly streetwise, but this is something different!). We were told we would have to pay for all 3 nights but to be fair , after complaining were finally charged only for the first night. Go to rome instead!
Dirty, filthy, dripping faucets, broken lamps, ágynemü tele hajszálakkal. creaky elevator. Breakfast, packed Croise, if any, and dry bread. The area is scary! EDUARDO porter helpful!
The daytime reception staff (extremely friendly and helpful person). The Rooftop. Location next to the station.
No remote for the air conditioning device. The bathroom's fan was too noisy...but it was only swiched on with the light, so it was not a problem.
Just the location. Very close to the central station. And the air conditioning.
Hotel is very old. Toilet smells as if theres a lot of moles. Room is very small. Breakfast... just some bread with drink No wifi in the room. Can't even get a hot water to drink coffee in a hotel.... I guess it's just right for the price.. I think it could be cheaper
