We stayed one night to see Genoa play and it was fine. It's also opposite the bus stop to the airport.
I wouldn't choose to stay here to visit Genoa… it is a little way out compared to other places I've stayed
Excellent location and the rooms were very comfortable. Very good breakfast and all the staff were very responsive to our needs.
Location to Brignole Train Station and the Bar man.
Cold uncaring front office and breakfast staff that make you feel that they are doing you a favour. No hot water for four days due to the floods, however no sorry for the inconvenience that we incurred or thank you for staying with us. No access to an iron in the room or laundry room, apparently ironing is an Occupational Health and Safety issue !! They could though iron for you at a price. Stain marks on the carpet. No replenishment of the coffee and tea items and no flannels provided in the bathroom a necessity when you have had to boil the kettle to fill the bath so that you can at least give yourself a wash. This hotel has a four star rating, what a joke after staying in 20 other hotels on a three month trip this hotel does not match up to the two star places we have stayed in. Also got ripped off by the taxi driver $20.00 for a $10.00 trip, Sorry Genova you have the location but not the service people. Bad memories of a beautiful place.
Staff was very helpful.
Good location, friendly staff and (after asking for it) a discount on the room due to unavailability of hot water.
No hot water due to Genua flooding (no gas), breakfast basic/simple (no fresh fruit or fresh juices).
Price **** acommodation ***clean**
hard to figure out
room had no bed but a sofa bed. very uncomfortable sleeping. far from the center, the hotel interior quite outdated.
Reception personnel: excellent (Elisabetta above all!); Room very comfortable, modern and clean rooms Excellent buffet breakfast with attentive staff
Parking facilities: a bit difficult
Location, clean, and near the city.
Staff at front desk could be a little more friendly.
Nothing to dislike,
Good location. Large, quiet room. Breakfast was ok.
Difficulties with WiFi. Busy staff. Sex workers near the hotel in night time.
Quiet room, wide selection buffet at breakfast, comfortable foyer, quality snacks available
Quality and comfort of room
Location good for station but in run down area by motorway. Diffident reception staff. Terrible coffee.
Location right in front of Brignole station (metro and train), clean, solid breakfast, comfortable beds...
I like the location, clean rooms, wifi and good breakfast
Lobby people rude and amateur
Bed very comfortable. Cozy . City views. It is a hotel with a few years, but well maintained and with quality materials. We recommend!
The shower throws low quantity of water. But still, a good hotel. The car park costs 15 €. But there is free parking on the road - you just have have to find parking spaces with white lines (there are many areas within 1km after passing the overpass that is left of the hotel - flat path).
The staff were sour-faced and rude, unapproachable and totally unprofessional. For an expat traveller my while life, it was a shame that such a beautiful hotel was run by such unhelpful, rude staff with zero knowledge of client service.
Great location, spacious room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good breakfast. Nice hotel!
The hotel is well located and close to the centre. The garage was on site too.
The hotel needs a bit of refurbishment. The unpleasant welcome came from the elderly receptionist with a moustache who told us to come back after another hour because checking was not due. I spoke to another receptionist soon after who checked us in immediately with a welcome smile.
Convenient location close to the train station Good breakfast
Location and general feel.
One or two of the front desk staff were rather abrupt and unaccomodating.
Bed old and demaged Stuff is poor
Clean and comfortable hotel with a few minutes walk to the main attractions of the city, average breakfast
Not very good wi-fi connection
Location is good; it's near the Genova Brignole train station, so if you're planning day trips to Portofino or Cinque Terre it's a lifesaver becaouse after a hiking trip in Cinque Terre in hot summer it's so good to reach the hotel easily and enjoy the chilled room. Breakfast was nice but they should include a bit more salty stuff. Rooms were clean with a nice city view, bed was extra large, which is cool. The hotel actually deserves its stars and it was a perfect choice considering the price. The only thing; If you're planning to walk around the Genova, it's a bit long way to old harbour or Piazza Ferrari but there's a metro station and bus station just 50 meters away so you can take one of them.
Good bedroom, very comfortable, very clean and very well equipped. Breakfast very very good. Calm location, away from the confusion of the city center, but possible to reach it by walking (15-20min).
