Excellent position, very quiet rooms

Good location, modern hotel

Wi-Fi was just free for 30 minutes only reception hall. After 30 minutes you have to pay. This situation was not indicated on the web page of Booking.com, but it was written as wi-fi is free in common areas.

Really close to the shopping street. Many restaurants nearby, including one halal kabab store. Staffs were really friendly and attentive, they even let us checkin 4 hours before the checkin time. Highly recommended for short trips in Genoa

The room was immaculate and hotel smart. Staff were, on the whole, courteous. The hotel was ideally located for Genova Brignole station. The breakfast was good.

To charge 6 euros for a soft drink at the bar is outrageous. The prices in the mini bar were, as expected, extortionate I.E. 4 euros for 50g of Pringles! The hotel lacks charm and is very much geared towards catering for business functions. Although the staff were courteous it seemed to take ages for each customer to be dealt with when checking in and out. Quicker customer service would have improved my overall experience.

Paid wifi in the rooms is something old-fashioned for 4 stars... Besides it was inconvenient to reconnect. Hotel is 70th building and you feel like part of retro in lobby, corridors... Not really a problem but you feel desire to get out of it ASAP :)

Propper 4 star hotel at a great location in the city with its own (free to guests) parking. It is perfectly positioned for exploring the city by foot or by local transportation (next to the bus and train terminal). The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. We had an excellent view from from our room at the 10th floor.

Nothing too wrong. They did have free WIFI in the lobby but it could also be free in the rooms (many less expensive hotels have free internet throughout the hotel). Also some slippers would be a nice touch. All in all its more good and very little bad.

Hall is too dark and unpleasant. We got very small room at the end of corridor and the window could not be opened. Internet is free only in the lobby and it is limited to 30 minutes and only 50mb downlaod. Connection is too slow I couldn't have VoIP call, not to mention video call. Breakfast is more like a 3 star hotel, for 4 star hotel it has to be much better.

Very slow lift service (one lift was out of service) unfriendly reception service.

Location was close to the train station and easy to access. Property was modern. Room was clean well laid out good lighting and decent luggage area. Bed was great. Good value for money.

Staff were cold indifferent and you felt like you were an interruption. There was no verbal exchange other than a terse answer when you asked a question. The service in the dining room was the rudest and worst on a two month trip to Europe. Also, for a hotel of this standard the Internet is appalling and expensive.

They still have the keys with heavy key holders to access the rooms. Sometimes I had to wait to receive the key from the front desk.

Very helpful professional staff

The whole concept of the hotel was first class

If I have to say something it would be that the rooms were a little too warm and we couldn't see how to turn down heating.

Staff was very helpfull, they recommended us great reastaurant "Da Giana" - must go.

Wi-fi in the lobby 30 minutes free of charge, it looked like aircondition did not work, even when it was set up for 20c, in the room was hot and difficult to sleep

Very well situated - pleasant rooms - very clean and spacious. All in all a comfortable stay. Breakfast was superb.

This hotel is basically across from the train station - which was perfect for us since we were traveling through Italy by train. Yet it was still only a leisurely 20 minute walk to "old town" and even closer to modern shopping. (Also to the harbor through old town.) It's a very large professional hotel, beautiful lobby with free wifi in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast room is huge and attractive. Typical Italian breakfast buffet but on the higher end of the scale, also felt there were more choices than in some hotels The breakfast staff kept if fresh and offered to make coffee drinks.

Hallways to the rooms were dimily lit and a funky dark purple color, sort of weird. Free wifi in the rooms would have made it perfect.

Location & connectivity

Advertised as an airconditioned hotel.! But as I was there in November it was switched off! Room was particularly warm - had to get housekeeping to get a special key to open the window to let in the fresh air. Lot of work going on on this particualr floor.

Location was good for me as it was just a walk away from the conference I attended.

In these economic times, I believe I should have been given my last stays night money back as I left early! Tis would have been what I call customer care, it would have gone a long way in my decision to return next year when I attend another conference, I will now look at other possible hotels.
