Primavera  

We loved the Primavera Hotel. The owners were both helpful and gracious. It is located in the lovely town of Levanto which we enjoyed very much. The breakfast was amazing and the room and the whole hotel were very clean. We will recommend this hotel.

The staff was really incredible, helpful, English speaking which is helpful but unusual for Italy. Everything was as advertised.

Marble floors are cold, and ac only cools, for heating use extra blankets.

The staff were friendly and provided us with local knowledge on how to get around and good places to eat in what is a quiet time of year for this area.

The showerhead in our room could do with being repaired as it would slide down continually.

We loved this hotel. Very comfortable, very good breakfast, extraordinary location. The purpose of the trip was to explore the Cinque Terre, but after seeing Riomaggiore, Manarola, and Vernazza, we still liked levanto the best. Maybe the experience at the hotel was part of it. By the way, parking was close and fairly priced. Internet was fast and provided at no cost. Overall a very very nice place to stay.

Great room and very friendly family owned hotel!

The hotel was only 1 street away from the beach and had a lovely bar area down stairs. Our room had balconies on 2 sides looking out over the street where many people sat out and had drinks in the evening, It was lovely to have so much outside space and it was a lovely relaxing place. There was a loads of books lining the corridor so we were able to swap the books we had already read for new books- nice touch

Staff was very helpful, really liked the location. Good value

For some reason I thought the hotel provided transportation to/from the train station, not the case. Notwithstanding, it was a easy walk even with luggage.

Towels for beach available at front desk, always someone helpful on duty, breakfast was good.

The Primavera ia a quaint little hotel. A lot of pride goes into the running of it. Rooms are basic but very clean. Nice breakfast buffet and they served "American Coffee"!! Staff was very helpful and always available.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the towels were odd (not all terrycloth and no wash cloths)

This hotel is centraly located in the pedestrian area of Lavento. It is a family operated hotel. We stayed there for 5 nights. The staff (eg. Owner) was very frendly and was very helpfull with providing all kinds of inormation regarding activites in the area. Due to a train strike we had to leave at 05:45 the last day. We where then offered a breakfast pack to take allong, and this stod ready for us at the reception when we left. This is real service!

Location was excellent as a base for our 4 days hiking in the area - 10 min walk to the train and a block from the beach Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet had many choices and everything was fresh and delicious. Even though the shower was tiny (don't-drop-the-soap), it had great water pressure and temperature control. Room (#108 with balcony over front street) was small, but very clean and functional. All the important things were good and met our needs very well. We did not have any noise problems due to "thin walls" mentioned in other reviews (maybe we had quiet neighbours). Happy with the free WiFi. Lots of restaurants (and shops) around. Would definitely go back!

We found it surprising that a few minor maintenance issues in the bathroom were not being attended to (missing toilet paper holder, lights on mirror.) But, we were not expecting a spa experience here, so it was fine. Same with minimal bath amenities (ie shampoo), but that is not unusual in many countries. Might not be the best place for a romantic getaway, but it was excellent as a base for outdoor activities.

This small hotel had everything we needed. Friendly staff, great breakfast. The management and staff bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. They even packed us a wonderful breakfast/lunch because we were leaving on a very early train before breakfast was served. We would stay again.
