I think this hotel has the best location. You will be near the Vatican City, the pantheon, the colosseo and everything you have to see. And it's a fair price. Totally recommended!
Excellent location .Very tasty breakfast with variable goods.not very noisy despite its central location.Near to super market and places of interest (navona pantheon venezia Vatican campo Di fiore ).next to bus stop (100m) and taxi.security level because of the big external door which remains locked during the day and of course the night.
price. unreasonably expensive for what it offered.
So close to central Rome and lovely family breakfast room, also the beautiful antique lift.
Great central location , within walking distance for many must see attractions. Very helpful staff.
Location, staff attitude, WiFi, near to all attraction and within walking distance
Noisy during one of the night due to event nearby
Perfect location for Rome. Clean and comfortable room on the 5th floor with private bathroom. Every day cleaning on the room. Discret staff. The equipment of the room is according to 2 stars-rating hotel.
Bath towels are dull. Bath equipment is old but clean. Price is unreasonable but...location.
Location -very central
The location of this hotel is perfect. The staff is really friendly and our room was large wih lots of extra space and a great view out both windows. The complimentary breakfast was really great and exceeded our expectations.
The hotel has one small plaque on the wall and it was really difficult to find when we showed up after dark. The bathroom could have been cleaner and needed a new shower curtain.
The location is superb. You really can't do better for this price. The hotel is also housed in a really great 19th century building that features large rooms with high ceilings.
The staff was accommodating, but could sometimes seem a bit short. Check into this hotel, check out of this hotel, and don't make too many requests of the staff and you will do just fine. Also, don't bother with breakfast. Unless you get up really early, breakfast is crowded, small, and prepackaged. There are several cafes or grocery stores nearby that you can quickly pick something up from without spending too much money or time.
Location is excellent, just a few steps from Piazza Navona, and a short walk to most monuments in central Rome. Friendly staff
Breakfast wasn't great, but will do if you are on a budget.
room 11 has a boiler behind the wall/near the window, which makes exessive noise. difficult to sleep there...
Location, friendly staff and spoke english
Very small sign outside, very hard to find sign after dark, very small room, only changed bath towels every other day,
The location is good.
The newer hotels in the area charge $140/night for 3 people with much bigger space. $135 a night for an old tiny room is fairly expensive.
Great location. Unpretentious. Reasonable prices. Clean.
Rather small and basic bathroom with very narrow shower. Not suitable for those who are claustrofobic or even moderately obese.
shared bathroom clean but down the corridor
A grand old apartment building, lovely character fir exploring rome
Loved my stay! Location could not be better! The building is from the late XIX and great for those who appreciate such environment. My room looked to the inner garden and it was very quite!
I enjoy big breakfast, so the hotel's croissants were too light for me. (Applicable to any place in Italy)
Excellent location, they give you the key so you can go out and in as you please.
Maybe the shower is quite small.
Very central lokation between Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori. In walkingdistance to Trastevere. Clean bathroom with hot water. A small hotel with style. Quiat. I came late 10:45 pm, no problem.
Very minimum breakfast. No sittingroom, only a breakfastroom.
The friendliness or lack of from the staff.
Great location, very friendly and nice stuff. I recommend this place because it is close to everything and situated in the middle of everything. It is clean and nice as well
Fantastic central location. Walk to everything. Friendly staff. Large room with a great view. Interesting historic building and elevator. Good Italian breakfast. Great value!
Nothing really, maybe room a bit stuffy as we kept the windows shut at night to keep out central Rome street noise.
Only basic amenities. Don't expect too much. If used as a place to crash at night it's fine.
The Hotel Primavera in Rome sounded too good to be true!! As usual things that sound too good to be true are usually just that. For €120 a night, just 30 yards from the Piazza Navona where else would you want to stay in Roma? First of all it was very difficult to find, the taxi dropped us outside the hotel, but where was it, after a good five minutes searching we found the hotel reception, situated on the first floor of this vast building with most of its rooms on the fifth floor. Our Italian is not great, but we can get by – we were shown to room 19 and on the way told in no uncertain terms how to use the very old lift. We had many a laugh about those instructions during the week. Room 19 was a very small room, that was very tried and shabby, not the cleanest hotel room I have stayed in. It had not seen a coat of paint in many a long day. The room was used for the cleaners to hang washing out to dry, nearly every day there was a new set of washing on the line. (On pulleys outside the window) On returning to our room there was often a girl handing out the washing. The bathroom was ok but the toilet was badly stained. One day it refused to flush, the owner did put this right quite quickly. Clean towels had to be asked for. Going into the bathroom was a steep step and the floor dangerous when wet. Breakfast was - Nothing to write home about, - basic rolls and coffee. Everywhere in the dining room and the bedroom the tablecloths were covered with clear plastic, just draped over the cloth. Twice we returned to our room to find the room door unlocked. We had left our valuables in the room!!! The Hotel was very noisy – outside you understand it was on one of the main thoroughfares in Rome, but inside the bedroom door banged all night. They were big heavy doors with no slow closing restraints!!! The answer to my question is I would have rather walk further to the Piazza Navona than pay the €120 a night yes, would I stay again? No
