Staff were friendly, breakfast adequate. Room was a good size, bathroom enormous Eggs were cold in the baymarie. Toaster small for the volume of people at breakfast time. Bath needs to have a screen to stop water from the shower going over the floor. Camp students making too much noise.

The location just beside the railway station it is the only advantage The best word to describe this hotel is old, used, obselete and rusty. The hotel's personel has an unfrendly atitude. The rooms are small, their interior is old. The breakfast is poor. As a general impression: hardly can be considered as a 3 stars hotel.

Very convenient location, just a step from buses, metro, train and airport shuttle buses. Clean and comfortable room with large bathroom. Satisfactory breakfast. The area makes you feel a little uncomfortable late at night due to homeless people which find shelter in the station.

Clean, comfortable and value for the money. Nice breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. The afternoon receptionist, Ben, a real treasure for any tourist staying here. Need to know the buses, attractions, places to eat, Ben's your man. Would stay here again. Very convenient but location not so great.

It is near the Rome Termini train station. The wi-fi access is not free and you can access it only on a certain location, on 1st floor only.

Not very much. Typical big rail station hotel. Seedy, cramped and musty room. Difficult to see how it earned its three star rating. Overpriced and cramped suite(!) but bathroom was good. Photographs of hotel must reflect the reality of the hotel. Rome is a tough place for tourists and the Madison reflects that fact. Disappointed.

Good location, just in front of Termini Station; hotel personnel was nice (receptionist and maids); the breakfast was good, though there weren't fresh juice and fruits. No wifi in the bedroom (only in the lounge); only italian channels on tv;

The hotel is very conveniently situated, especially if you are only in the city for a short time, as you will waste no time travelling. Perfect for buses, trains and trams and easy to find your way home again! The decor was a bit dark but on the other hand, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom lovely.

The Hotel is very close the Termini Station. 1. There is no wifi available from the room. The wifi needs to be purchased and to connect you need to go to 1st Floor where there are other people. No privacy at all. 2. There was ONLY HAM meat in the breakfast. For those who are Muslims, they cannot have any. 3. The services in the room was poor. For a couple we had only 2 shower gel. NO shampoo and no conditioner. We had to purchase shampoo from outside pharmacy.

Excellent staff and facilities were clean and spacious (for Italy!). Location adjacent to the Rome Termini RR station made us pick this hotel. Good restaurant selection close to hotel: we hung out at the sidewalk cafe next to the hotel. Would recommend to friends. Liked everything. Excellent value.

The location was the best, just behind Termini, the main railway/bus station. However, it was a waking distance to every other popular city location. The breakfast in the hotel was amazing; there was such variety and quality for every taste. The hotel staff was very professional and helpful when asked questions. Our room and bathroom were specious and clean. We didn't book the hotel for its luxury but location because we knew that we'll only sleep and eat our breakfast there and go out to explore the city.

We did not really like much about this hotel. Only good thing was that 2 male members of staff went out of their way to be helpful but think that is because of the disgraceful way in which we were treated on our arrival. Avoid avoid avoid We did not get off to the best start with this hotel. We arrived at reception to be told there was a “teeny tiny problem with our room.” This “tiny” problem was that they did not have a room for us but this, according to them, was no problem at all as they would put us in a hotel around the corner. They told us they were putting us in the Gallas Hotel (which they assured us was better than the Madison) but we ended up in the Prince Gallas Hotel (which was certainly not better than the Madison). This hotel was not as close as we were lead to believe and it had one man at a wooden table as the reception. It looked very dodgy, was very small and dingy and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The shower was the smallest I have ever seen - I am a small lady and could barely fit in it, let alone wash properly. We also looked online and the rates at the Gallas, let alone the Prince Gallas, were a lot cheaper than the Madison that we had booked. We went to the hotel and demanded a refund but they said as we had booked it through www.booking.com we were not entitled to one and there was nothing they could do as their rooms were full. They even mistold us when the manager was in so we were unable to speak to the manager about it. Prince Gallas did not even do breakfast and we had to walk around the block to another hotel. We had booked the Madison hotel as one of our party has a heart problem and we knew it has a lift. We were put in a room on the top floor of Prince Gallas and the lift was dodgy and not always working so he struggled a lot. We eventually moved back to the Madison for the end of our stay but would not recommend this hotel at all. It was a complete disaster from start to finish. When we were back in the Madison, they “cleaned” our room every day but did not give us more toilet paper.

Location - the only thing may think about. 1. Friendness of reception. 2. Tidyness of the hotel - old and bad smell. 3. Facilities of romm - no refrigirator.

The location at the doorstep of the Termini train station is superb for train travelers. The hotel was quiet even though situated on a very busy city street. The morning breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff was very attentive. The staff was at times unfriendly. Some were friendly, some were not friendly, several were short and not helpful at all. The hotel advertised wi-fi internet access - not wholly truthful. They had wi-fi cards you could buy (5 Euro per 3 hours) and the wi-fi was only usable on the first floor - not in the rooms. This advertising was deceptive - in a town with almost no free wi-fi. The cable TV advertised was completely in Italian - not good for all of the international guests.

the location was great right outside terminie station. the breakfast was good also the dining area bathroom was clean and quite nice the beds were a bit uncomfortable and squeeked when you moved also no computer connection in the rooms when I asked them to print an e mail for me we were directed to an internet cafe and they dident want to do it at reception but after a stern reaction from me they did do it. I feel all hotels should have facilities to be able to print documents for guests especially when you are paying 130 euros a night. otherwise a good location to stay close to everything.
