no iron, no bar. poor breakfast.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is that is is located opposite to Roma Termini and the metro station. This saves a lot of time in travelling and hence it is very accessible. The stay was also very nice. Breakfast was good.
Wifi quaility is bad in the rooms. They need to improve this.
bad wifi, crowded, noisy
Location Comfortable and spacious room Excellent breakfast
Communal area décor a bit worn
Lots of Bars Reatarounts Takeaways around。
Hotel's facilities are too old, looks like not clean。
Nearness to train station Very good breakfast
Difficulty in finding my room on 6th floor. Inadequate signposting of numbers led me in several directions as if I was in a maze. Had to return to reception to seek help. No phone on narrow corridor by which I could seek info.
the room was big enough for moving inside
Great Location, next to Termini. Fair breakfeast good price.
Very ugly decoration, old. Very bad insonorisation.
I liked the location
Location was great, lovely restaurants in area, easy walk to a number of tourist highlights
The hotel was tired in the extreme & staff reflected this.
The wifi system
Very hard beds and pillows and noise up above
I love the location! It's just across the street from Termini, so almost everything in Rome is within reach. Around the hotel, there's also a lot of restaurants and convenience stores so you'll never run out of food options. I love the buffet breakfast as well, and how the staff responds quickly to my requests about my room.
The shower was either very hot or very cold. There was no in-between. :) The corridors need a little more maintenance, especially the carpets.
The location is really good.
Wi-fi connection is very poor. In this time, it is very important for the travelers to connect to families to let them know we are okay as it is too expensive to connect for an international call. The lift needs repair and with only two lifts serving the whole building with a hundred of guests!
Breakfast was good. Location is Very central
There was no electricity for 2 days in some of the rooms therefore no internet nor A/C. The staff refused to give me another room and was very rude. Because of that they could not prepare a good breakfast, it was a catastrophe.
The staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful in every aspect. Clean rooms, small bed, but had everything we needed.
No problems at all.
Clean hotel, rooms are nice. Very good location being next to Termini, has sound proofing so you don't actually hear much off a busy road
Arrived at reception to be told that we would be at another hotel for the first night. Third night at the Madison I was biten five times overnight, but was told by the staff they were midgie bites. Moved to another room for the last night and tha aircon gave up once we had settle in for the night. Was a very hot sticky night!
noise small and dark rooms
EASY ACCESS TO THE RAILWAY STATION. PERFECT SPOT FOR THE ROME BUS TRIPS SURROUNDED BY GOOD PRICE RESTAURANTS AND CAFES.
MY TRIP WAS TO SHORT
The hotel is located right in front of the main station, which is very convenient. Our room was surprisingly quiet considering the location. Breakfast is overall good and served from 7am, which is perfect if you want to start your day of visits early. The guy at the reception recommended a nice restaurant nearby.
The worst were the horrible coffee for breakfast and the poor internet connection. The hotel needs redecoration and the temperature of the water in the shower constantly changed from cold to very hot. The staff is not very welcoming.
Steps away from Roma Termini. The bathroom seemed clean.
The entire hotel looks very dirty and with a very strange smell. Air conditioning was broken, rooms was very hot. It was quite hard to open the windows. Vending machine was not working. Bed had one very very small pillow. When leaving, asked the guy in reception if he could help me printing my boarding pass. He refused.
Tasteful decor Good breakfast Location Helpful staff Value
Beds too soft Bad lighting for reading Spotty wifi Dirty hall rugs
the quietness of the room, the aircon, the hot water, the conveniencenof 5he location, and the breakfast buffet -best of the European trip
