Overall the stay was quite nice even though the location is a bit remote. The owners really take care of you and are very helpful. They used to respond to my queries on watsapp and it helped a lot. View from the room is great

The apartment is not expensive compared to other accommodations in the area, but you are far from everything (you would need a car or scooter). No issue for us as it was just a "transit" place to stay. Nice view on mountains and sea.

Vietri is an ideal staging point for a visit to the Amalfi Coast. Small but big enough to have all the amenities. Good choices of restaurants and cafes. Easy access from transport by train from Naples (nearest airport) or further afield. We travelled from Rome by train into next door Salerno. Great ferry services along the coast are great to use for a lunch or even early dinner and visit to any one of several lovely villages along the coast. Remember all these villages are built on the side of a cliff. Hills and steps are going to be a constant experience! If you like the hills and steps there are great walks in the area which will reward with views like nothing seen before.

Great base away from the madness of the rest of the coast.
Great base away from the madness of the rest of the coast. Train, bus, ferry to everywhere and you come home to a place thats more like a village than a tourist nightmare. Elevator to your beach. Staff are great. Room was good. We were in an upper room away from the functions and disco which was good. ( we went to the disco and had fun and fitted in as 60 yr olds). Loved the place and didn't have to contend with the rest of the mad over crowding of the rest of the coast. And tyhe parking guys are really cool.

Vietri is a very popular seaside town and gets very busy.
Vietri is a very popular seaside town and gets very busy. There are mainly ceramics and some clothing shops. Restaurants are plentiful and very reasonable with the fresh fish dishes excellent. There is also a restaurant which provides Pizza takeaway.
Parking is very difficult as is common on the Amalfi coast. If you take a car try and pre-arrange private parking in advance.
The beach is ok but quite a long downhill walk so the return journey is tedious. We chose to drive to Maori which is much more accessible and a better beach.

This is a wonderful and amazing little getaway nestled into the cliffs that overlook the Mediterranean and the beach below. HIlaria, the hostess is wonderful and helped us arrange tours, recommended restaurants and provided us with a driver for trips around town.
The rooms are large and airy and the bed is SO comfy. There is a full kitchen should you feel the need to cook.
The breakfast buffet is huge with many different options and choices, but the breads and local cheeses and meats were exceptional.
The stairs are steep but there are not nearly as many of them as at other places and the restaurant, Acqua Marina, right at the bottom of the stairs is one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever eaten in (and I'm a Chef).
We've only been home a month and we're already talking about going back next year.

The hotel stay was mediocre.
The hotel stay was mediocre. I highly recommend renting a car. The hotel does not have a shuttle service. We had to take a bus to the hotel once we figured out the system as well as asking locals. That was the worst part. Once we got to the hotel we realized due to its location and proximity in relation to things to do, we were going to have a hard time getting around. Taxis got to be expensive taking them back and forth. The hotel staff was nice for the most part with the exception of one member. She seemed upset there was a language barrier. Overall, the hotel was ok for the cost. I wouldn't stay again, however.

A great 2-floor apartment that has everything you need, including a garden next door ideal for a romantic dinner with an ocean view. The location was a bit tricky as there is one bus that comes by and you have to check the times to make sure you are waiting to catch it. However I think this may characteristic of Vietri sul Mare as many of the houses are located on high slopes along narrow roads, making it not very walking-friendly. But what a fantastic town with the most wonderful people, and definitely worth the visit.
Located right in the center of town. Can walk right out door to go shopping at the many ceramic stores. Cross the street to terrace with the best view in Vietri. 10 min walk to beaches. The Relais owner, Vincenzo, was super helpful, answering our questions and helped us reserve taxi and make reservation to dinner. It was like having a friend in Vietri. He has done a lot of work restoring this historic building. It was cool seeing the frescoes he uncovered during the renovation.
We intended to use this house as a strategic point so we could use our car to visit both Pompeii to the north and Paestum to the south, while still being on the Amalfi Coast and enjoying the view. But Vietri sul Mare really surprised us with its quaint charm, great restaurants, and not SO many tourists! The apartments themselves were wonderful, and Antonella made sure we were all very comfortable. The views were amazing from the garden, and it was really peaceful.
Hotel Raito is an amazing hotel . we ordered a place for one night and decided to stay 3 nights and do all the Amalfy trip from here as a base. it has a breathtaking view, great rooms with balcony to the view, pool, bar, restaurant and spa which we didn’t have time to try yet. The breakfast included is wonderful and dinner is very tasty. The staff is so friendly and professional very helpful.
I’ll recommend all my friends to visit!
We loved our stay in Vietri sul Mare! It is an excellent place to make your home base as you explore the Amalfi Coast. The property was great for our needs as a family of four. The breakfast spread every morning was nice! Ilaria took exceptional care of us, recommending great places to eat, arranging a boat tour, helping us with the ferry, and getting some laundry done before we left.
We liked everything about the property!
The room was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated, the bed was so comfortable and the position of the B&B was great as well (right in the center next to restaurants, ceramic shops and bars).
The bus stop was 2 minutes away and around 7 minutes from the beach.
We loved everything about our stay and fell in love with Vietri sul Mare.
Wonderful location overlooking the sea. Clean room, albeit with furniture that looks a bit dated. The bed was comfortable though. We booked a room with a balcony and sea view, and this was the best thing about our 2 night stay. The breakfast was very good, served overlooking the sea. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Vietri sul Mare beach, which is wide and sandy.
This place was one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in! So clean, everything you could ever need and the best, most hospitable host you could imagine. Buses were easy to navigate and so cheap into Vietri sul mare which is beautiful. The pool, garden at the front and the breakfast was just perfect! I would give this place 11/10 if I could!
The place is just lovely, but the thing that actually made our stay magnificent was the two persons from the staff named Sanji and Ella, they were extremely friendly, polite and professional and we absolutely loved them! Hotel is very beautiful, clean and chill and if you ever go to Amalfi coast, this is the place! Thanks once again for everything!
We wish we could give it more than 10 stars. The apartment is beautiful and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. The view is amazing. The staff are the nicest and most hospitable people we have met in all of our extensive travels. The location is perfect for exploring Vietri and the nearby hamlets. We highly recommend Panoramic Flat.
Casa Mena and Vietri Sul Mare was the highlight of our stay in Italy. The best restaurants and cafe/bars/pastry shops that Vietri Sul Mare have to offer are just a short walk away. We will be back again for sure! The hospitality shown to us was above and beyond. I 100% recommend to anyone going along the Amalfi coast to stay here.
It was a good stay for the Amalfi coast, not too pricy. it was about a 40 minute walk to Vietri Sul Mare, where we caught the bus to Amalfi, which was beautiful. The accomodation had a nice view of the water in the distance, and there was a great restaurant nearby.
the location was beautiful! super unique, great view! the workers were very helpful, our train out of vietri was cancelled last minute because of a train worker strike, and we called the hotel and they came immediately and drove us to salerno. incredible staff!
Authentic place / house, near trainstation and Vietri sul mare city (15 min by foot), host very friendly and pleasant, speak english, everything explained, owns his bar, where you can feel yourself like very special his guests, apartments clear and nice.
Maria and Clelia really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and part of the family. Great support from their side, fast and reliable on every demand we had. Something you won't find in bigger hotels.
Clean, spacious rooms in a very cozy house in Molina- a tucked away little town in the valley right in the middle of Vietri sul mare. Loved walking around and smelling fresh flowers and seeing locals
