The hotel is situated in the very center of the city, a few passes from Piazza Plebiscito and from the sea shore. The staff is nice and friendly, and the owner is helpful.

The toilet sink was not working properly but the owner was so kind and helpful that he substituted it the next day by himself!!! Some bathroom features need update but for the rest the rooms are big and well equipped.

Everything !!! Have been to Napoli other times but never to a great place like Napolitamo. Right in front of via Toledo, next to all nice places, sea-front, shopping, Galleria Umberto, subway, easy taxi access ... Room was awesome, large and very comfortable, with a nice view of via Toledo. Plus, the staff was friendly all time.

A good hotel in the very center of the city! Located in the street with all the shops! and you can easily get to the quay in 5 min walking where you can find a lot of restaurants to eat sea food! The rooms are huge!

We had to pay for the elevator in the day time ( 10 cents for one use) but the stuff gave us the money . The breakfast was ok but could be better! But still it is a good place to stay for such money!!

The breakfast was great and room facilities were very good. The beds were comfortable and clean and the toilet has a rain shower. Location is in the historic district which is convenient.

The lift and inaccurate information provided from staff. When we got to the hotel with our huge luggages, we were met with an unpleasant experience of having to figure out how to use the lift and being stared at like performers from a show from an old man who sat in a room beside the lift. We initially asked him for directions and he pointed us to the lift. We did not know how to operate the lift because there are no clear instructions on which goes first (eg put your 10cents coin in, press the button). While we figured it out, the old man just kept staring from his seat in an unflinching and boredly interested manner, without offering to help. It was extremely rude. Remember that in order to get to the hostel reception, you have to first give up 1 ten cents euro coin, put all luggages in, put in the ten cent and then press the number that you want the lift to go to. Nevertheless, though this was annoying, the old man is just an impolite caretaker of the building and has nothing to do with the hotel. If you stay on another level not on the same one where the reception is located, do ask for the 10 cents euro for you to use the lift again because it will Not be given by the staff unless prompted. The reception staff changes daily. On our last day, the person manning the desk responded to our queries but she was not particularly helpful. We were checking out early and our train ride was some time later. We planned to do some more sightseeing as we still had time to spare. We told her our train timing, and asked when was the best time to get back to the hostel to pick up our luggages before tking a cab to the train station, she said flatly 'anytime'. (???) We hence had to help her further by asking how long it took to get to the train station. You would think that the hostel staff would know best. Although it's also written in this hostel's description, that it takes ard 10-15 minutes, we thought it would be best to confirm again.

The staff and the dining experiece .... excellent dinners..... excellent waiters....excellent chef!!

Bathroom fixtures and shower head and hooks all needed some repair.

The location of the hotel was great, right on the bustling via Toledo. For a hotel in Europe where the rooms are the size of a matchbox Hotel Napolit'amo came across as a breath of fresh air with big rooms and high ceiling. The breakfast was also very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean bathroom and fresh clean towels provided everyday. Cannot find much fault with this hotel. In a city which is infamous for being unsafe, this hotel was a welcome haven. Would surely stay here again.

Its not a modern hotel but a family run place in an old palace,excellent location in cental Naples, walk from castel nuovo is 10 mins. in busy shopping area near most main sights of the city and city has good public transport for places like Herculaneum,Pompei,Caserta etc. Its was renovated a while ago so bath room is not modern style,but price reflects this. Breakfast on one day was great choice and quantities on offer, dining room is a sight in its own right. Plenty of great places for food or just drinks/coffee & cake,especially Cafe Roma opposite. Didn't use televsion or lift/elevator ,steps to hotel are good exercise,internet access was good.

Rooms are in need of some simple maintenance /updating ,cleaners seemed busy though left some corners undone,shame really. breakfast on one day was very sparse,so hadn't been replenished maybe?

Helpful stuff. The hotel is located on the central street. The breakfast is on the separate floor with a beautiful view. I had any bad experience while staying there.

Excellent location - on one of the best shopping streets in Napoli and also just a short walk to the seaside promenade of via partenope/via francesco caracciolo, very friendly and helpful staff, in a secure area just off the main street with closed gates

Breakfast was awful - there was not a great selection of foods/drinks available. There was no tea or orange juice, the scrambled eggs looked very dry and unpleasant, no fruit. The room was quite dark and the sink tap had very little pressure

Staff at reception spoke English and was very helpful with taxis, city info, booking tours and suggesting restaurants. This hotel is in the heart of the shopping area. We felt safe out at night as there were many families out enjoying the streets. We recommend this hotel highly.

The elevator was cramped and operates on a ten cent piece although the hotel gave us a few at checkin and we never had a problem with the elevator.

Considering I get to the hotel and they promise wifi throughout the hotel... Well it wasn't working in my room. I turned on the shower and the nozzle fell off. The only saving grace was the staff who were reasonable helpful. I travel a lot and his will be one hotel I will tell people to avoid

The hotel was located in a 17th century palazzo right on one of the main shopping streets, it is within easy walking distance of the port (for trips to Sorrento etc.), the museum, the funicular up to the Vomero and the restaurants & bars on the Lungomare. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they even saved us money on our taxi fare back to the airport. For a weekend break it is an ideal base.

La disponibilita' del personale. Davvero carini. Buona colazione.. Ottime le briosche con crema e amarene... Buona posizione x uscire la sera. A pochi passi da via toledo.

Nous n'avons pas séjourné dans l'hotel Principe, mais dans l'autre partie, récemment rénovée. L'emplacement est particulièrement appréciable. Le design et le confort des chambres font partie des points positifs

Aucune indication n'apparait pour signaler, et l'hôtel lui même, et l'étage de l'accueil. Il nous a fallu faire des recherches digne d'un jeu de piste pour accéder au comptoir...

la posizione ottima,la tranquillita' pur essendo in pieno centro.

le camere del primo piano sono un po datate,invece quelle del secondo piano sono nuove.

La pulizia dovrebbe essere curata meglio nel bagno non avevano svuotato ill cestino e i bordi a terra della cabina doccia erano sporchi

Ruime kamer, goede bedden, erg gunstige ligging in het centrum 100 meter van nieuw metrostation (Toledo). Ontbijtzaal indrukwekkend.

Kleine douche-cabine, belabberde douchekop.

Hotel discreto, buonissima posizione, la location è molto affascinante. Staff cortese.

La cura dei particolari lo renderebbe migliore. Capisco il fatto dei piani molto alti ma la pressione dell'acqua era minima e un giorno la temperatura dell'acqua in doccia era tiepida.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé, en plein centre et donne sur la rue commerçante de Naples (via Toledo). La chambre est assez simple mais tout y est. Le personnel est très accueillant et vous fourni tous les renseignements pour vos visites.

Le bruit! Même à l'intérieur de l'hôtel, les gens parlent fort et l'isolation est mauvaise (ancien bâtiment). Forcément, l'hôtel est en plein centre et donc vous entendez tout ce qui se passe dehors... Enfin, le panneau sur la porte indiquant l'hôtel est tout petit et donc pas évident à voir.
