Not just at this hotel, but in general Italian breakfasts can be a bit one dimensional, especially if you stay a few nights like I did, some fresh fruit salad maybe?
Walking into town via casino a real plus so no need to be driving around which can be confusing in San Remo

In evening wanted key male stopped serving us to answer the phone then 5 minutes later continued to get our key. A pet hate for us
Lady at reception was outstanding, pity the guys were not half as good.

I took this hotel mainly to sleep. But I didn't due to the door between my room and my neighbors. It was like having them in my room. This just cannot exist. (Same in my second room). My neighbors came back in the middle of the night. The guys talked for an hour, watched TV and finally slept around 4 o'clock! I won't come back...
It's an Italian 3 star. That's what you'll get. Very nice staff. Very clean bathroom. Very close to the center.

The hotel operates a strange system at breakfast where you need to 'reserve" a table. You must sit at the 'reserved' table, even though other tables are free, No one told us of the requirement at checkin which led to some confusion by both the staff and us at breakfast the first day. Nevertheless, it was sorted the next day and we found a table with our room number on it. Lots of staff at breakfast..but none doing very much so we had to ask them to replenish water, fruit juice, eggs etc. Dated decor
Great front-desk staff; on arrival provided a map and pointers on how to get to Casino, shopping street and beach the easy way. Gave us the aircon remote and a brief on how to use it. Good convenient and quiet location, even though there are a quite a few steps involved in getting down and back to the town center via the hotel 'underpass" its no problem if you are reasonably fit, and good exercise if your are not. Our room on the 4th floor had a nice view of the sea and a small balcony with table and two chairs. Decor is quite dated but everything worked and the room was clean. Aircon worked very well. There seems to be a WiFi access point for each floor of the hotel, and that also worked well Car parking is free (space is limited so the staff juggle cars around the small car park to enable guests to come and go)

Our room had problems with the shower drain. It barely drained when we arrived. The drain problem was fixed promptly but the drain emitted foul odors for the rest of our stay which could not be fixed. The wifi is weak but ok.
Right in the middle of the action in Sanremo. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pool is very nice.

Yet too little care of minor things such as elevator floor, room balconies, etc. Please remember - hotel is not close to the sea.
Have a dual feeling when writing this but...hospitable hosts trying to be of help (special thanks to bruno), good bedding..., all amenities available in the room...clean sweeming pool, nice breakfast served in the morning

This hotel is a joke and should not cost more than 60Euro/night: - Renovated, but dirty bathroom. Day-to-day cleaning was ok, but it's obvious no periodical general cleaning is done (there was significant mould around the shower cabin). - Bed cover was dirty. - Not all lights were working in the room. - Only one electric socket in the room, near the TV. - Wi-Fi reception was horrible, it only connected in the bathroom! - TV reception was horrible. - Rooms share a door with the neighbour. Although it's obviously locked, you can hear everything they are doing/saying, so there is almost zero privacy. - The breakfast is horrible: only one type of bread, 2 types of meat and lots and lots of sweets. We ended up eating out almost every day. I don't understand why italian hotels have such bad breakfast, no vegetables, no fruits, no variety. Most people go there for several days of holiday, not a 2-day conference! They would appreciate a proper breakfast. - "Free parking" means you leave the car their yard, blocking other cars. They ask you to leave your car keys at the reception in a little box, so they can move your car when needed. The problem is, when you go get your keys, nobody checks for any ID whatsoever. So you can take any car you like. And no, they don't know you as a guest, because receptionists change several times a day. Moreover, when their yard is full, they will leave your car on the street anyway. - The worst thing of all is that employees don't speak english and were hard to communicate with. So there was no chance to fix any of the problems mentioned here. We booked 7 nights at this hotel, for 140 Euro/night, because they advertised free parking, Wi-Fi, breakfast and a pool. We got 1 out of 4. Don't stay at this hotel unless it's really really cheep, or they have new management!
The pool area was nice.

There is nothing I did not like. However, if you have mobility problems, you may struggle with the walk to and from the hotel which is up a hill.
Fantastic staff who could not do enough for you, spotlessly clean and great location, so close to the city centre (see note about the walk to the hotel). The balcony, pool and patio were an added bonus. Will be back.

Balcony was not clean, chairs was dirty and one was broken.
Hotel is near center and the seaside, maybe 100-200 m. Parking is free of charge. Staff was very helpful.
