Prima hotel op goed locatie, goed ontbijt, fijne kamer.

Airconditioning wat rumoerig.

de kamers zien er armoedig uit en comfort van de bedden is slecht.

Ontbijt, hotelpersoneel deed heel goed zijn werk

prijs kwaliteit. De fotos komen totaal niet overeen met de realiteit. geen terras

De ligging is goed, zicht op Gran Canal, met terras waarop je 's avonds kunt eten. Menu prijs/kwaliteit goed.

The Hotel is wonderful! I was pleasantly suprised at how luxurious it seemed for the price. It is a great location right near the Train station. An easy walk from there. It is a little more of a walk, but still not bad to the bus station to get to the airport. You do have to go over a bridge for that with your luggage. The staff was very helpful! I was originally in a triple room and we changed it to 2 separate rooms. The single room charge was very reasonable and they put me in a double for the single price. Breakfast is in a very nice room with full linens. The hotel is right on the canal and has a beautiful seating area outside. Most of the hotels did not have this. There is a pretty cool little Irish Pub really close and plenty of shopping and restaurants right outside. The water ferry is really close and makes getting around very easy. It was a wonderful place. Would highly recommend it!

The shower is small and there are only two tv news channels in English. This was true of everywhere I stayed. As my first time to Italy, I wish I would have packed lighter! Everyone wears their clothes over and over and no high heels!! The streets in Itally are uneven, cobblestones and lots of hills. You will be dragging your luggage around from train station to bus station, etc. Only take the small carryon bag....trust me on this one!!

I spend my life travelling around the world staying in hotels of varying standards form average to excellent. I have never before stayed in a hotel with a view such as this. I woke up in the morning, walked onto the balcony and felt like I was in the middle of a Caneletto painting. The room that we had overlooked the Grand Canal, had a chandelier made of venetian glass that was larger than a blue whale. The hotel has a shabby opulence that is exactly what one should expect in Venice.

It was in a fantastic situation and the public rooms were excellent. The breakfast was superb but why they don't allow guests to eat outside on the beautiful canal terrace is such a waste of a lovely spot . The free taxi that they orgaised to take us to Murano Island was a bonus

The staff... The waiting staff were stern and unfriendly. Our room was basic albeit adequate but the curtain was falling off the rail which I pointed out as not acceptable. The porter laughed and said it was fine. It was not attended to during our stay!. My case was lost on arrival at the airport, the staff on the desk were totally unhelpful in helping me to track it the next day . In fact we found the front desk brusque and unfriendly during our stay and on check in.

The excellent view on the grand canal watching the boats going along. Very sunny room, very clean room.

Room doors should be renewed. For the high price you expect more than old brown wooden doors. Breakfast was ok but not as good it should be for a four star.

Location was perfect - close to train station but also easy walking distance from 'posher' areas such as St Mark's Square and the more 'local' area of Venice. The room was small but perfectly adequate for a short stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the terrace was perfect for afternoon tea or a drink. Would definitely go back there again

The location

It was no closer to value for money. The price charged was higher than other hotels we stayed at and it was very average as far as luxury and services were concerned. Bathrooms are really small.
