This spectacular converted chapel is now home to the Hotel Art by the Spanish Steps. A daringly modern which takes its name from its artistic décor and its fantastic location.

Nice and pacious room, good value for money.
Artificial scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Concierge very helpful
Breakfast not great choices available, No tea/coffee making facilities
room and location
The hotel was good value, for Rome.
It was a bit further to the "centre" than i would have wished but that is presumably reflected in the price.
The hotel is situated in one of the quieter areas of Rome but had some nice restaurants nearby and a laundromat for those travellers that need to wash. The beds were quite comfortable and actually had sheets on them which seems to be the exception rather than the rule these days. Staff were friendly and accomodating.
Was a bit too far away from the main streets of Rome that has all the shopping and market stalls. Although the walk was only 20-25 minutes.
Modern, good Wi-Fi. Free espresso
Hard beds, small room, poor breakfast, noise from adjoining rooms
Probably the location.
The Morning Staff. Too noisy. Poor hair drier. Plastic glasses. The lobby nerds some attention.
The breakfast, A/C, room, location. Took us awhile to get the day staff man to be pleasant. Having other members of the hotel present seemed to help his attitude with us.
The front desk gentleman Mauro was extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The man is a great asset to the hotel. .
The daytime man at the front desk is a grouch and a person we tried to avoid at all times during our four-day stay!
Small room, receptionists not so easy going (one is quite rude), expensive for the benefits.
I liked the rooms.
Below average breakfast and very much shortage in the staff. Not worth 4 stars ranking at all.
Staff were quite rude and obnoxious. Location not great. Very noisy
We did like cleanliness of room. We had asked for bathtub and got one ;o) Breakfast was quite good - we could choose - sweet cakes, croisants, youghurt, fruits or bread with selection of ham and cheese, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, however I missed vegetables - there were just tomatoes (better than nothig!) Guys from reception were nice and very polite, we asked some info about rome and sights and they told us some good tips.
The view from balcony (backyards of some old buildings) ;o) but we didnt come for view from the hotel and the walls are thin so we heard everything from neighbours ;o(
Very good location, close to center and Villa Borgese;
the staff was really nice and helpful, room was clean, the area is quiet, with many great restaurants close by.. they had eggs and hot dogs which is not so common in 4 stars or less hotels in italy for me what matters most is how nice the staff is , and i found that here. the only thing i didnt like so much was the pillow is too low but i didnt ask for another one anyway.. cant blame them for that :)
I like hotel location, housekeeping. Breakfast is excellent. Front Desk staff is good.
No Wifi in hotel. No tea and coffee supplies in the room. They didn't provide iron and iron table. room is too small. No restaurant
Located in a quiet area close to the center. Large room.
Generally I would expect more from a 4 star hotel.
breakfast was awful
Pretty much everything, location is great, Breakfast is excellant, all round good value for money.
Hotel arranged for a taxi to station, expect to pay more than fare from station, left a bad taste after being charged 50% more.
location, cleanliness, security, free wifi, chamber maids, night porter, check out staff, style
breakfast would be nicer with fresh jam and honey, with more variety of fresh fruit, more variety of fresh juice, more variety of cereals
the staff there are really nice and quite helpful. the bathroom is clean. breakfast good(offer hot bacon and omelette) anyway if I go back to Rome, I will definitely stay there again.
Remodeled and modern, rooms with in room bath and air conditioning. Excellent continental breakfast, within walking distance to the park and train station. Close to many points of interest.
The staff was not very friendly.
Everything was fine except no kettle in the room
The ceiling decorations in the room. Over the top
Room interior designs
Limited options for breakfast buffet. Very poor Wi-Fi
