Location and Price
Location was excellent and rooms quite pretty.
MOST staff (not all) were rude. Elderly gentleman at the desk upon arrival was horrid. Laughed in my face when I told him that the Wi-Fi had stopped working. Also note: due the structure of the building and how old it is, Wi-Fi is awful in the hotel. And the cleaners! Most mornings at about 9am they would be cleaning rooms next to ours and would YELL so loud at each other. I had just travelled more than 30 hours and was extremely Jet lagged. Due to time difference I wouldn't fall asleep at an appropriate hour, but when I did only 4 or so hours later, they were YELLING outside our door. My friend and I really struggled for the first few days sleep wise. Not to mention when she knocked on my door and realised I wasen't Italian (though I speak) during a question to her at my door...she just...walled away! mid sentence! We were going to stay another 4 days, but due to the cleaners making it impossible to sleep, we left.
Only the place .although difficult to find the hotel The place.
The staff is extremely unkind and unproffesional!!! The man in the desk when we arrived was interrogating my wife and searching her identity like she was a suspicious or criminal. As they have a very bad router and the wifi did not work, when we complained the woman in the desk said "it s not my problem" !!!! in a very bad manner.
We ppaida little more to have a suite in The Hotel Priori, which was a good decision. The rooms were really atmospheric, with 17th century frescos. The main reason for choosing this hotel was location and that was perfect as it was circa 200 metres from the main street in the upper part of the city.
We were really happy with the hotel, so no complaints.
The location was great- near the main piazza in town, close to many restaurants.
The accommodations were dated, there was no ac when it was listed as a hotel that contained AC which was a bit inconvenient when visiting Perugia in 90 degree weather.
Certainly the best place to be in Perugia. Highly recommended.
Excellent location, right in the heart of Perugia. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was pleasant with a balcony that looked over a very nice courtyard. Wonderful view of glorious sunsets and night sky too. Perugia's finest restaurant just across the cobbled pedestrian street. We would recommend to anyone.
we had a wonderful room with views across the rooftops of Perugia.Breakfasts were superb, staff very attentive all in all excellent value and we would not hesitate to stay there again
We were quite delighted with this hotel. We especially liked the roof garden and the perfect location.
Great view from some of the rooms - be sure to ask for one facing the city and the hotel's dining area, not the busy Via dei Priori street. Perfect location, 3 minutes away from the central square. Very nice dining area. The room was perfectly clean and charming, but has old furniture and appliances, which can be either quaint or disappointing, according to taste.
The rooms can be very different and prompt for a very different experience, ranging from poor to magnificent. We were initially assigned a room facing the street. It was veeeery small, extremely noisy and was facing a wall, therefore very dark. We were promptly offered a much nicer alternative (large room with a view) when we asked. The central position also means quite some noise at night. No internet in the rooms, just in the reception lobby.
Soundproofing between rooms
Great location in the heart of Perugia. Close to so many sites to see, restaurants and shops. Located very close to the main street and transit (Cupa-mini metro). Loved this city!
Good position - right in the centre of town. Good public services in the hotel. The internet does actually extend to some rooms - give it a try you might be lucky!
The room was small and badly organised - it was impossible to watch the TV from the bed for example. The bed was a bit soft and the bathroom was cramped. we had absolutely no view from our room.
No fruit at breakfast No kettle in room No lift to top floor
excellent location in the heart of Perugia. Breakfast choices far above Italian average
perfect location, wonderful neighbourhood
noise from a group of young people acoomodated in the hotel; room tempreaure could have been higher
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location.
Requested a smoke-free room, but room smelt of smoke. Shower head was broken.
Location and staff
Location, arrangement of deals, staff & clean
Poor furniture, bathroom arrangement
Not the place to find for the person with a GPS use parking lot alp for Swiss then talk escalators up parking 20 euros a night otherwise close to center de la fonota and shops ... Comfort good, location good except parking ...
Parking is impossible garage not monitored by cameras use alpine de Swiss garage
The staff careless when we did not have hot water. The shower halth the size of a normal one, not even a real shower. Room too small. Scandalous behaviour of the staff and price!
