Great location in Perugia - right by main square. Shower pressure was fantastic

Everything else apart from the comments written in red was great. The staff spoke a little English and if asked they went out of their way to oblige!! I liked the coffee machine at reception it gives a warm ambience to the hotel.

The mattress on the bed was needing replacing. It was sad that the fact it was not advised on the internet (1) that the restaurant was not operating for the winter and (2) that the top floors were closed for the winter! I understand the economics of it but forewarned is best!

This hotel was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful with parking our car in the garage which was right next door! Perfect! Staff even helped us with options to park in Rome for our next stop! The location was brilliant and had fabulous views! Exactly what you see in the photos! Will definitely stay here again!

We had a non smoking preference and had a strong smell of cigarettes in our room. We would have asked to move if we were staying longer than one night. But to air the room out meant having the windows open which in turn created a cold room in winter!

This is a great budget option, right in the middle of town. The rooms are relatively small and basic but quite comfortable and clean.

I was in room 134 which faced out onto the street, which was a little bit loud in the evening (not that Perugia gets that rowdy i think!). No wifi in the room was a bit of a pain (though the free wifi in the lounge worked well). No iron in the room was also a bit annoying but their laundry staff ironed my work shirts for 1 euro each anyhow which isn't bad value!

It is a great location...Less than a 2 minute walk to the main shopping area. We had a room with a great view..and there was parking for a fee.

Great room with a view over the surrounding countryside and the old city. Very close to the main street and escalators down to the minimetro.

Very central location. Just yards from the town centre and places of interest. Excellent value for money.

Nothing of any note.

The location was central to sights of interest and shopping. The views were beautiful and the staff very attentive and offering suggestions and diretions to sights of interest. A buffet breakfast is served in a glass enclosed room off the courtyard.

We were allowed into our room earlier than the stated arrival time. Staff helpful.

No blankets on beds. Room 105 has a large column running through it. Shower awkward: (1) control handle loose and fell off; (2) closing the curtain enclosing the cubicle was difficult.

Central Location. Spacious suite. Pleasant terrace where breakfast was served. Very nice staff on reception.

Room not properly cleaned - a drawer of men's underpants was left in the room - not ours! Not enough toilet rolls and when replaced on the holder, staff didn't remove the outer wrapper. Empty box of tissues underneath a full one. Plug of Hair Dryer in bathroom didn't fit into socket. Mini bar bent the trades description act. It was just a cupboard, didn't contain any drinks and didn't even have a wine bottle opener. We didn't need it but that is not the point. The hot water in the shower took 10 minutes, yes 10 minutes, to come through. The lights in the sitting room of the suite were so dim, we couldn't read. 17ThC frescoes were more "earthquake" than Pinterucchio! Drinking glasses were not washed after we used them. Overall, a lack of attention to detail and a sense of cleaning staff doing the minimum.

I was given a room in the first floor near the technical room of the elevator. It was really noisy.

Had particularly bad receptionist. Gave our room key to another guest just booking in and we had to wait for the irrate guest to discover room already occupied. She the tried ti charge us for our room when we had already paid in advance.Hopeless.

I stayed at Priori for a night, and anyway, did not expect much from my place of accommodation as I had come to Perugia to see the city itself, and then I was indeed looking for a budget hotel. The place itself does not shine with anything exceptional, however, its location in the very city centre and in a marvellous medieval-like street makes it unbeatable. The staff did not overflow with kindness and desire to be helpful all the time, but on the other hand they were rather busy, so I suppose they were forced to be business-like. The hotel has two other advantages except its location that I will remember - a "glass" lift that takes you high above the rooftops of the surrounding houses (mind you, Perugia is breath-takingly beautiful) and a very italianite terrace, where even if one omits breakfast, one can sit about and bask in the sun.

When I arrived it turned out my booking rate did not include breakfast and was told that if I wanted to have one I had to pay additional five euro (I did not have breakfast, anyway, but the real reason was not so much the price as my inclination to sip cappucio and eat cornetti in genunie Italian bars/ pasticcerias in the morning and mingle with the crowd of natives there). My single room was more like a larder, with a bathroom a bit bigger than itself. In the late evening and during the night it was very noisy, but this is hardly a blame to be put on the hotel rather than its guests - there were people slamming doors and talking in loud voices (approximating shouts) either in the corridors or in their own rooms.

The hotel was in the old style of the town. It is just down a quaint little narrow street as you would hope in this type of historic town. The hotel opens up to a great view of he valley and is of a quaint style.

Miserable staff, no aircon, no 20€ fan and noisy as everyone has windows open.

Great location.

Really indifferent staff. We stayed there during a fabulous jazz festival so I'm pretty sure every hotel in the city had the same noise problem, but really, its happened many years so you would have thought the staff would be sympathetic and offer ear plugs or something (luckily we got some so only the first night was sleepless.) It was stunning to be paying 200+ euros/night and be told that there was a store up the street where we could buy a fan if we wanted one. Not really charming in any way, which is actually kind of hard to imagine given its prime location in this amazing, ancient city during the fantastic Umbria Jazz festival.

Central location and peasant breakfast on terrace old hotel had character

Would not recommend staying more than one night in summer months as only a few rooms have air conditioning and they are more expensive. basic washing en suite

Great location in Centro Storico. Lovely staff. Great breakfast, on beautiful roof terrace, surrounded by ancient buildings, with flocks of birds overhead. Glass lift was a wonderful surprise, giving panoramic views. Very well appointed room and bathroom. Wish I were there now!
