Hotel Privilege  

Mrs. Rebacca and her husband managed this nice and warmly hotel. We feel very comfortable and happy of living in this hotel for 4 nights. The location is nice, you could walk to most of the sights. And it's along the river. Taking a taxi to train station is 10 euros and 15 minutes. We will definitely live in this hotel again next time. There's a nice leather school & store just inside the church - Santa Corse, do not choose those leather stores on the street !

Barbara and Emanuele are very helpfull, very nice you can not ask for better service and kindness. We would stay again and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Ciao

Close to Arno River.

I don't understand how this hotel got such great reviews when the beds are very uncomfortable... They are roll-out mattresses, with horrible springs. The woman at the front desk staff did not have a good attitude. We would ask simple questions very politely, and she would respond with very "matter-of-fact" short answers. Not the best attitude to have if you are working in customer service! We had just checked out after staying there for two days. We came back 1 hour later to pick up our luggage, and my husband asked if they had a restroom downstairs he could use, and the woman replied with "Do you have a room here?" Really? Are you going to forget a face that easily when you run a small hotel? Maybe she was having a bad day, but either way, it didn't make our arrival to or departure from Florence a great one. The male front desk attendant was very pleasant, however. We were on the 1st floor, right underneath the wooden staircase, and could hear people walking up and down. Didn't try breakfast, didn't feel very welcome in the hotel so opted to eat in town. The hotel is very dated, and felt old.

Very poor small bathroom.

The hotel room was clean and spacious, with plenty of lighting and an arched ceiling. The hotel itself is in a good location across from the Arno River, not far from the main tourist sites (but a bit of a ways from the train station). The hotel staff were super nice and helpful.

Nice building. Beautiful location. Tasteful room and friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet.

No wireless Internet. 10 euros extra for baby cot is too much!

The couple running the hotel, who were wonderful, informative, friendly, helpful. Breakfast, generous, varied, and very good. Location, fantastic. Room good-sized but cosy also.

La stanza quadrupla era davvero spaziosa e molto panoramica. Le persone dell'albergo molto gentili. La posizione è ottima per visitare la città.

Nous avons apprécié l'excellent accueil qui nous a été réservé, Barbara et Emmanuelle sont charmants et très serviables. Ils vous suggèrent de très bonnes adresses de restaurant et de visites, de plus Emmanuelle parle le français. La situation de l'hôtel est idéale pour visiter Florence à pied. La voiture est prise en charge par l'hôtel moyennant le prix de 20 Euros/Jour. Les chambres sont spacieuses, climatisées et parfaitement insonorisées. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. L'hôtel est à recommander !

Le personnel est vraiment très serviable et sympathique, l'un des 2 parle français. Le petit déjeuner est plutôt de bonne qualité. L'emplacement est assez idéal (5-10 min à pied du centre ville). La vue sur l'Arno est agréable.

La chambre que nous avions était vraiment vieillote, équipement des années 70, moquette douteuse et proprété moyenne. Le parking est un peu cher, mais c'est un parking fermé.
