Location is excellent

Location...Courtyard but did not get an opportunity because of rain.Young lady named Shikira was extremely friendly and most helpful.Bellman named Angelo was great.

Room was too small for the price! Breakfast was second rate compared to other Rome hotels we have stayed at at similar price.Room starting to wear out. Wood floors have seen their best days.Beds uncomfortable.

We both liked the vicinity of the hotel easy to walk to most places close to main station Breakfast was very good

Style of the hotel, original furniture.

Some of the lounge furniture (chars) need to be reupholstered, as they are unconfortable and worn out. Twin beds cannot be put together.

Everyone working at the hotel are excellent. Was ill during my stay, and they could not do enough for my wife and I. We will be back to enjoy Rome properly in the future and stay here again. So close to Piaza Republicque

Good location for sight seeing

As previous reviews have said (and th ereason for booking there) this is a classic old hotel, with wonderful character. Very clean and well serviced, all but one staff were very helpful and courteous (the very first person spoken to was quite abrupt about the room not being ready when we arrived early - which we expected anyway). Hvac worked efficiently. Subway service very close and only one stop away from Termini to change from one line to the other. Just be sure you have the correct change for the eu1.50 One way ticket or any other ticket. The room was very large and while the bed was 'European hard' it was luxurious. A food/wine market down the road and multiple restaurants in the area (try Dodo which was a wonderful last night delight). Go North on Nazionale to find a bank machine not south as they may tell you.

Expect that eu Beds are harder than us Hotels and the use of 'Duvets' as bed covers which are either too warm or you sleep without a cover - this is a general comment - otherwise the hotel was great.

this hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the termini train station. we were greeted politely and efficiently. the room room was very nice. they provided a nice buffet breakfast.

the shower in the bathroom was a problem. water sprayed all over everything.

I would have liked the staff to be friendly at the reception desk. We waited in line and when it was our turn we were told wait 10 minutes

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great - only about three blocks from Jackson Square.

There were no elevators. Bellman needed to be (and was) very capable. Anything above first floor was difficult to access. Room was very European (Small). Due to age of building, doubtful if any major improvements or updates are feasible.

The location is good, close to everything, nice terrace with very good breakfast, very good for European standards, will recommend and stay here again.

They preauthorize your credit card and first night charge funds frozen until check in. Lots of street sellers in front of hotel, making it look unsafe although pretty good place, the bathroom doesn't have door in the shower, flooding after showering, should have doors for shower.

The ambience of the hotel, with beautiful furnature, marble and parquet flooring. Overall exquisite.

Loved the location of this hotel, very near Termini station and we could walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. Having breakfast included was a bonus and there was a large selection of foods to sample. There were a lot of restaurants nearby, which helped after a day of sightseeing. The hotel had live music in the lobby on Friday evening which I would suggest you stay to see, it was very relaxing listening to a wide variety of music with a few glasses of beer/wine. An added extra is the hotel garden, its beautiful and so serene, its hard to imagine you are staying in a hotel in a busy city centre location

The smell of sewage from the bathroom at times could be strong

Excellent location close to all the best tourist spots. Old charm without looking run down. Like staying in a well kept gallery or museum but not stuffy. Very clean, large bathroom, loved it!

If I had to find one thing I didn't like it was the mattress. Too hard for my liking but it all comes down to personal preference.

Great location and great room

Breakfast is a scrum and needs better thinking out (get downstairs by 9.00) in terms of choice and set up. Room was lovely for a small double, bed comfy but pillows not to my taste and no spares

It was a great location with the bus stop right in front and the Metro across the street. You could get to anywhere in the city! The rooms were nicely appointed and had all of the nice amenities. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices! The front staff was excellent! So very helpful with anything we asked. The guy that took care of our luggage, especially keeping it in a safe room while we explored the city on our last day. It was also very helpful to have access to the computer and internet! Will recommend this hotel to my friends!

We were near the freight elevator which could be rather noisy. However, I will have to say it seemed that during the night it was quiet. Those rooms down from the elevator can certainly hear and feel it going up and down.

I've stayed here 4 times and love the ambiance of the hotel. Beautiful courtyard garden, nice breakfast area and all rooms are different. Not a cookie cutter, basic design hotel. The rooms are large and bathrooms nice. Great location.

The only thing is some of the hotel desk staff. One person in particular is a bit surly. Otherwise the bar staff is very nice and most others are too. Check in was delayed past the 2 pm time and seems to be the case.

Room service didn't answer the telephone two mornings out three when we wanted to order coffee

The rooms were cleaned every day, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good. Also they arranged for us to vacate our room at 14.30 instead of 12.00 since we were departing at 16.30 from the hotel.

When I was given my room I noticed that we had been given a room on the main road instead of the two rooms I booked and were confirmed by the Quirinale staff that the rooms had to be facing the courtyard. The next day I went to the reception and showed them the e-mail I had and told them that I would like to change the rooms since the rooms given were not the ones that I booked. After telling me that all the rooms were booked and I replied that that was his problem and not mine he told me to wait until noon till the manager arrives to give me an answer. At noon I was informed that they will be changing the rooms to ones facing the courtyard. That was the only problem I had at the hotel as for the remainder of our stay I have nothing to complain since all the staff were very helpful and educated.

A friendly hotel. Food was good and it was in a good shopping area.

The location of the hotel is perfect. You can walk to any place in the historic centre. The hotel is very elegant and looks really Italian.

Old Stylish deco, location (10/15 mns from Campo de Fiori by foot...nice easy walking!), staff, breakfast by the garden...

Booked Superior room and mentioned "double bed choice"...Superior ok but 2 single beds...finally and for a double bed ended in another smaller bedroom ...was ok but less "superior"! Then and most important, forget about wifi for business in bedroom.......IT Never worked!!!!

It was close to transport, the buses and the metro station is just near the hotel. If you like to walk, you can reach to Trevi Fountain in half an hour. It is close to Termini Station. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the stuff very friendly.

Our room (141) was at the first floor faceing in the courtyard and the technical equipment that was in a small building made so much noise during the night. The air conditioning in the room was not working.

Alot of noice, i think we got a room near to a depot
