Location was excellent, around the corner from the metro Republicca. The breakfast was good. Excellent spread with tons to choose from.
The hotel was average, a little run down. The room was tiny which made it a little difficult to move around. Bathroom tub was super slippery, and the angle of the shower made it kinda dangerous so just be careful when you get in. Ha!
I used the 50's style old lift, located near my room. That's the only think I loved.
Small room. Very Old Hotel, and need lot of renovations from the lobby to the rooms. Not value for money.
Lobby Location Garden Kettle Hotel taxi
Breakfast. No boiled egg Noisy Wooden floor
Location is excellent. Rooms are a reasonable size. Breakfast is good. Price is good.
The hotel is not in great shape and could do with an overhaul. The underground passes under the hotel and so the bed was shaking from the vibrations.
Was only 10 minute walk from train station and right next to the metro station. Nice area to have your breakfast in looking over a lovely garden.
The room was a bit small.view was rubbish looked on to a grubby grey yard.
The location was excellent fo a Rome visit, near the Termini and a 15 min walk to the various attractions. The hotel is beautiful and well equipt, with gym, garden area and the breakfast was very good, but don't expect full English as you would get in UK.
Room small but that was reflected in the price, no kettle (but apparently that's a no no for Rome). Next doors bathroom sounded like it was in the room with us!
1.Breakfast was very nice and was being served as a buffet between 7 a.m- 10 a.m. 2. Great location near the termini train station and bus station, nice restaurants in the area and a 15 minutes walk at the most - from all the main attractions in Rome.
1.The walls in the room were a bit too thin so sometimes you can hear noises from other people in the hallway or in other rooms. 2.The bathtub in the bathroom needs re-decorating since there were rust stains appearing on it, but mostly it was very clean besides that.
Location first of all. Very good service. Superb beds
This hotel is in a great location you can walk to all the main sights from it or take the metro which is just across the road The staff are all friendly and willing to help with any requests The rooms are airy and spacious I would not hesitate to return to this hotel
The Staff are very friendly and helpful The location is excellent
The Breakfast area is very crowded. The Breakfast Buffet is fair There were ants in the room
Location good, staff fairly friendly and historical decor appropriate for location.
Breakfast which was included was not as good as we had hoped, in view of city location and hotel stature. Room I was allocated had limited power points although staff did provide an adaptor to allow me to charge mobile etc. overall disappointing, rooms rather tired and in need of redecoration.
1 too much noise outside-could not sleep 2 we changed room but the floor was very squicky
cleaning of room
The building was absolutely stunning.
the location the live music in the hall
we didn't had Wifi the rooms are very small breakfast every day the same
The staff was very friendely. The hotel was decorated with Christmas thema, what is nice to take pictures. We could take the breakfast in the varanda with a vieuw to the garden at the same time, even in cold weather. The room service was good, every day they changed towels. We could sleep without noise.
We had a day without television. It was a cable problem. The douch and bath is old fascioned and is istalled on the wrong side of the wall, which becames difficult to take a shower. At the room there was no extra contact on the wall to charge our electronics. And you must to pay for a fresh juice if you want to have it in your breakfast.
1. Staff friendly and efficient 2. Breakfast spread enjoyable
1. out dated bathroom, shower leakage repairs 2. TV outage for 4+hours 3. no coffee or tea facilities in room, only bar
Breakfast without a lot of minimal needs. A long way walk to the room No drinks at the bar after 11pm Unkindly service at the reception
very poor breakfast
Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location. A "grand hotel", well maintained, with historical style and modern comfort.
Room on the main road may be a bit noisy.
Secret tunnel to the orchestra pit of the opera house.
'Wet room' style bathroom - impossible not to soak the place - why don't the designers of these places spare a thought for the chambermaids?
The staff were extremely responsive, well informed, and competent; they gave us directions, prevented unneeded expense in travel, stored our bags and allowed us a complimentary breakfast our first day. They gave a wake-up call, changed a large bill, and gave us leeway on the breakfast time. Real pros, and the place has old-world charm, a first-rate garden and lounge and is quiet and comfortable. Loved out stay!
Just 3 things: 1) the Wi-Fi and tv was out of order when needed a couple of times. You need to ramp that up! 2) the paint job outside the bathroom of #354 needs touching up. 3) the tub is too high to comfortably step into, and the shower curtain too thin to avoid sticking to the side of one's body
Large rooms, well-equipped baths, lovely linens; comfortable lobby and breakfast areas, lovely courtyard. Easy to hail taxi's right in front of hotel, a lovely variety of restaurants in the area and public transportation is close-by. I would stay there again without question.
Street noise at times, but it added to the 'charm' of the neighborhood. Breakfast was good, but very ordinary without anything to make one look forward to it. Great coffee however.
It was in walking distance from the train station and centrally located and walking distance to the Colleseum, Vatican and Borgese Gardens. Beautiful high ceilings in the room and gorgeous antique furnishings!
Pillows were flat and not very comfortable. Only critique of this hotel which I would stay at again in a heartbeat!
