Clean rooms, good location for tube to Vatican, coliseum.
Noisy corridors, wifi not great
Close to termini station/access to airport
Impersonal, quality of food at breakfast could be better
The room was uncomfortable as it was so hot and the staff were uncooperative in finding a solution. I was iteching all the night because of the flies that entered as i opened the window to have some air coming
Great location, good breakfast
Place and breakfast were very nice.
My card was rejected when I paid, so I paid by another card. But I received both of bills. I asked the hotel to check my payment, but their response is slow.
Classical old house with characteristic atmosphere.
Location, breakfast, room, bed, bathing tub in which to relax. Saw at breakfast a member of the personnel I recognized from 20 years ago- I remember him because he used to joke all the time. In the modern world, it is gratifying to find such a long employer-employee relation.
It was raining outside...
Attentive and friendly staff, great breakfast
excellent hotel for short trip because of location, good transport links to anywhere in Rome and the airport
Handy convenient to all important places which we wanted to visit in Rome.
Staff was strick, busy and not helpful.Old hotel so in the room just bed and bath was good.WiFi was free a very short time.
The Hotel was very convenient to the old city, the room was very spacious and comfortable, on booking in we were disappointed that we did not have a bath in our bathroom, we contacted the reception and the following day we were relocated to a room with a full bathfoom. Breakefast was ok but I wish they would use real eggs instead of the powder that almost looks like scrambled egg but it sure aint from a hen. I would also like a pot of coffee instead of a small cup full....too much up and back to the machine that time of the morning.
The staff is what makes this hotel great, they are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the rooms were comfortable.
Unfortunately, when we were there, their internet was not working and it was extremely frustrating.
We loved everything. We will defenetly come back next time!!
Breakfast was good but still can do better... that cannot stop u from taking this place!
We unfortunately had to leave Rome after only 1 night of a 4 night stay due to a family death but the hotel staff were so accomodating and reimbursed us for the 3 nights we could not stay. Very considerate and helpful in the circumstances. Beautiful old building, great location for walking everywhere, will return hopefully.
Wifi in rooms was not working at the time of our stay.
This is a very elegant hotel which established over 100 years. It owns a perfect location that allow you to go to those hot sightseeing spots on foot. Very close to the Metro, and provide an excellent buffet breakfast. Very decent and elegant hotel.
easy to visit most important sites but weather was not ideal so you have to be flexible with your plans Feeling of city is that of friendly and relaxed atmosphere in all places
I asked for double bed and got two singles instead and kettle for coffee didn't have a matching electricity port near it so you had to move it and unplug and plug instead of minibar That was really annoying
Easy to walk to most places. Good big room powerful shower and good breakfast.
No swimming pool ... But I knew that when we booked and we wouldn't have had time. Not what a city break is about really.
The wifi connection is terrible, and the room is very poor.
Location and value.
We stayed here for four nights in a Superior room and were happy with almost everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the dinning room was beautiful with a lovely backyard. Room was quite sizeable but slightly aged. However we were happy that the hotel kept the original style.
We had one dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the food was just average.
The location is amazing and the staff is so friendly. The free wi-fi worked great and the bed was SOO comfy. The restaurant and bar area is fantastic for a drink after a long day of walking and the bartender was so friendly. We will definitely stay during our next trip to Rome.
The breakfast wasn't that great but I know that's how Italy does breakfast but I didn't eat anything personally.
hotel is near from Metro and there are bus stop in front of gate, good access for everywhere!
outside is too noisy until middle night..
Fare price for a nice place.
location and breakfast etc.
very noisy the first night. a group of people celebrating in neighbour rooms and the staff can do nothing cos of they are in 'another hotel nearby...' poor sound insulation...
