Very old furniture.
location is just so so.
Really dirty. Eww.
it is clean, a good place just for one night sleeping.
It was cold, the heating system wasn't good.
Even though this is a pretty lousy joint, the double bed in my room was good. Hard mattress which is not to everybody's taste, but I liked it.
Long list really. Chinese staff are ignorant and do not speak English OR Italian or any European language. No lift. Lousy outside toilet. Need to specifically ask for a remote to be able to turn the TV on. etc. etc. I would not mind if it was the cheapest place in town, but it was quite pricey considering it's a dump - I stayed in much better places in Milan for less.
Just few reasons you should never use this dodgy hotel: - Not worth even 20 EUR a night - Staff do not help, can't communicate in English. - Do not take credit cards. - Do not give receipts - Furniture is in very very sad condition -beds too narrow
Close to train station
I would only recommend Rallye if you are desperate. Super overpriced for what it was, with hostile staff and in a bit of a dodgy area. Usually I sleep through anything, but the nights were noisy with people yelling and running around in the stairway. We even wondered if prostitutes from the nearby park were using the place! The room was reasonable although the shower was a bit awkward with nowhere to hang the shower head hose.
I booked the room and stated in the request that I El check at 11:30. They called me at 11 pm telling me that the room I booked has been taken and I have to book a double room which is 10 euros more after posting me a discount.
The location of the hotel is excellent, near the city center of Milan and the train station within walking distance to main places in the city. The neigbourhood is veryu quite at night but dangerous.
The hotel is owned by a chinese family: the child in the counter for reception, the father does the security, and the wife does the cleaning for the rooms and hotel. The staff of the hotel is not friendly at all. Once we got to the hotel, we thought it is like those hunted houses with low lights with no one inside, we were at first scared. There is no elevator, so if you haev a baby you should leave the trolley downstairs and go up stairs. The house wherethe hotel. The hotel has Wifi, but you need to ask for the password at the reception. For its price, I guess it is very expensive. The hotel closes at 2 am,you have to be careful not to stay later than 22h since the neighborhood becames dangerous
There where the wifi despite the fact that I was told that there's no wifi provided in this hotel while booking a room.
Only one person from the stuff speaks English. It smells like there's a fire somewhere near the room because of the asian aroma- things that the stuff use.
