Walls are very thin and was woken up by an energetic couple next door in the middle of the night.
*Clean *logical prices *delicious breakfast
*Far away from city center * Cold Room no more than 23C Degree ( winter season risky) * adjacent construction disturb me , my curtains was off during my resting.
Friendly staff and very clean hotel. Bus stop to the centre just outside the hotel. Excellent breakfast.
My only complaint was that being New Year's Eve the hotel was very noisy at night as there was a bunch of youths staying at the hotel. My room was replaced after my second night since the noise persisted. Nevertheless the staff were very helpful when I raised my complaint.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a buffet style with no constraints for those requiring seconds, and has an excellent variety of catered items. It also has an orange juicing machine! The housekeeping is excellent.
The Hotel is about 4 kms out of town, but, if getting a room special well worth the extra effort. Better value than many city hotels. When staying at the Ramada Encore, and arriving Bologna by train, take the 25 bus - not 25A - ACROSS the road outside the front of the station. The bus travels LEFT direction facing the interchange. The bus stop for the hotel is outside the hotel. Get your bus tickets from the newspaper booth at the station. A ten ticket works for five trips two people 12 euro. Do not attempt to ride the buses without tickets. Bologna is the only city in Italy where I have witnessed ticket inspectors issuing fines to tourists as well as locals.
There were only two blankets for three person room.
We took 2 connected rooms it was comfortable and clean . Good location near the high way .
clean and tidy, friendly staff -those who work in the restaurant and receptionists professional but not friendly, good breakfast and WiFi
The room was freezing cold and daughter and I got sick because central heating is not working well, it's warmer in the hotel lobby than in the room! Even when we set the temperature to 23 degrees, blew tepid air, horrible (second day I bought a thermometer in city-in room is 18 degree! Windows awful, curtain "dance" all the time, even when wind does not blows (a window is closed)! Below the window every morning workers from the construction sites make noise (the hotel is being extended). Ok, then let them begin to lay the bricks at a decent time and not at 7:15-7:30 because if you came to rest, you can just dream about it!
The reception desk was warm, friendly and efficient. Decent selection at the bar. Excellent WiFi. Clean and well kept room, covered all the basic necessities and more. Breakfast was generous and with plenty of variety. Great staff all round.
About 20 minutes from the centre of town. Restaurant dinner menu was on the pricy side for the quality though still good (€14 for Tortellini and a glass of wine).
*good breakfast with wide selection of bread & home made cakes *comfortable bed *great pasta dishes at the hotel restaurant
*construction works outside of the hotel *wifi was working discontinuously
Every things was good
Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable and well staffed. Ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good, as was the breakfast the next morning. Quiet, comfortable place and pretty easy to get to.
Wifi worked well in the lobby, but not in the room. That was a bit of a bother since we were trying to get some work done.
Breafast on Sunday (half of a choice comparing to other days, when it was very good)
bus stop is very close...good location..very good breakfast...
all in all a short, pleasant, comfortable stay at Ramada. The breakfast is good with a good choice of what to eat. Considering it's a 3 star hotel it offers good value for money.
The buffet breakfast is excellent.
the room is very small and sofa bed is very uncomfortable, causing us very bed back after a few days.
For the couple of weeks we were in Italy, this was by far the best value. Also it had the best breakfast of anywhere and it was included in our room rate that was a fraction the cost of other places we stayed.
On the downside, it did have a tiny bathroom and they did charge extra for a toll free call.
Staffs are very kind, perfect room with perfect shower and toilet and also with coffee and ice! The hotel breakfast was faàäãåāăąántastic over the perfect, dinner bistro even reasonable. You can any Print at the front! Don't be fear in front of Ryanair!
Only car travelers feel perfect location between city and airport. Bus users are a little hard to access. Wifi was weak in the room.
We loved the location and our room. We will definitely return very comfortable.
Reception and breakfast staff need a few lessons on customer service they bordered on rude and were anything but helpful.
5-10 minutes drive away from the airport
sofa bed mattress sag, uncomfortable
The hotel was just a few minutes from the airport and so we used it like book ends...at the start and end of our Tuscan holiday. 2 days at the start gave us time to see Bologna. We bused in easily. On our return from further south, the following week, it was again just a few minutes from the motorway. Pleasant staff and an evening meal prepared us for our homeward flight the following day. Clean, good choice of food and excellant price.
A bit of noise from some early staff one morning but we were on the ground floor.
Low price. Clean. Comfortable bed. Efficient staffs. Breakfast is good but bread can be better.
#25 bus stops in front of the hotel. Takes around 15 minutes. Quite frequent during office hours. Twice an hour after 9 pm.
Clean Good WiFi Nice room and TV Breakfast Service Restaurant
Clean, modern, silent, nice people, nice buffet even for a vegan customer (as I am) just perfect!
The hotel is in a great location to see Bologna. Bus stop is just outside the hotel and takes just 12minutes to get to railway station terminus. It is a short walk from ther into the centre. Breakfast was good and dinner well priced. Staff were very helpful.
The bed and pillows which make for a very uncomfortable sleep. The beds are very solid with no give at all and pillows like wise.
The friendly staff and the hotel's cleanliness. The food is very good and it is very-well located. The rooms are quite spacious and have all the required comforts
