Lovely property. We used their shuttle to go downtown and left our car parked at the hotel. Room was nice and had a view.
The only issue, but a major one, is the very poor wifi. No connection in rooms and even in their lobby it's weak. We need the Internet to plan our travels from place to place and couldn't do this well during our 3 day stay.
New-ish hotel. Big rooms.
Light sensor in bathroom. Shower is too small. They provided a laptop in our room - running windows XP, and far too slow for sane use.
We got in late in the evening and had to leave at 5am for an early flight out of Naples. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. My husband was hungry and he is gluten intolerant. They whipped him up a great dinner of gluten free pasta, sausages and salad. It was fabulous. Then in the morning they brought us soy cappuccinos at 4am to make sure we were awake for our early morning flight. Great place to stay about 15 minutes from the airport. Highly recommend!!
Once we entered the hotel courtyard, it was a completely different feeling to the area. Clean, modern and welcoming. We were met as we walked towards the hotel by a gentleman, who seemed to be the owner himself. He took care of us, took our luggage off us and took us to reception. Check-in was swift, efficient, friendly and, thankfully, in English. The hotel decor is very new, in a sort of baroque-style and done well. We were shown to our room (211), a lovely corner room with a view over Naples. The room was large, very clean with a decent TV, with some English channels and a fair sized bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We had dinner at the hotel, as we were not prepared to venture out into Naples. Dinner was simple and surprisingly tasty. Delicious pizza! Service was great and very friendly. Breakfast is a simple affair with fruit, yoghurt, pasties, cereals and some hot dishes. Everything we had was good and we enjoyed it. Check-out was similarly swift, efficient and friendly. We liked this hotel and would definitely stay again if we were in Naples.
Getting to the hotel from the airport was a slight challenge, driving through some very dirty and dilapidated areas of Naples. However, the GPS got us there fairly efficiently.
The hotel was lovely and very clean. The staff were amazing, they always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Good little spot just outside Naples centre, and staff were happy to drop us to the train station for day trips. The restaurant was fantastic, and very good value-beautiful house wine!
Wonderful staff -- very attentive and friendly!
Safe location for Naples
The hotel is run by brothers and they and their staff were always ready to help us in any way possible.
The hotel is a bit remote which was both good and not so good. It was lovely to have peace and quiet after being in Naples centre but travelling to and from took a bit of time. Luckily the staff were happy to drive us to the nearest metro station each day.
The staff of the Ranch Palace Hotel were all extremely helpful. Every one of them went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We had an engagement one evening and the private driver (Migueli) they recommended was exceptional.
Be aware that the location is away from the city central. The hotel provided a free shuttle to the metro with maps that showed us which stop to take for each venue we wanted to see which greatly helped offset this issue. They even provided a ride to a local monastery with the most amazing views.
