Once we entered the hotel courtyard, it was a completely different feeling to the area. Clean, modern and welcoming.
We were met as we walked towards the hotel by a gentleman, who seemed to be the owner himself. He took care of us, took our luggage off us and took us to reception.
Check-in was swift, efficient, friendly and, thankfully, in English.
The hotel decor is very new, in a sort of baroque-style and done well.
We were shown to our room (211), a lovely corner room with a view over Naples. The room was large, very clean with a decent TV, with some English channels and a fair sized bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
We had dinner at the hotel, as we were not prepared to venture out into Naples. Dinner was simple and surprisingly tasty. Delicious pizza! Service was great and very friendly.
Breakfast is a simple affair with fruit, yoghurt, pasties, cereals and some hot dishes. Everything we had was good and we enjoyed it.
Check-out was similarly swift, efficient and friendly.
We liked this hotel and would definitely stay again if we were in Naples.
Getting to the hotel from the airport was a slight challenge, driving through some very dirty and dilapidated areas of Naples. However, the GPS got us there fairly efficiently.
