Hotel Ranieri  

It is a lovely old hotel with a courteous and helpful staff. The old and rather small elevator harkens back to earlier times with its wrought iron gate and wooden doors which had to be carefully opened and closed. Lots of marble stairs. The breakfast area was on a lower level with no windows, but the canary yellow decor was bright and cheery. The lounge was business-like and welcoming. The hotel lies beyond the main tourist areas, but a short walk takes you to most of the sights. It was convenient to the train which we took to and from the airport with no problems.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff was remarkable. I would stay there again should the occasion arise. D. Pittman

Helpful staff who spoke English and who were willing to help out with any queries. Clean spacious room with modern bathroom.Breakfast was included and was of a good quality. The hotel Ranieri is well located ( walk to the main train station and metro)and there are a variety of eating places in the vicinity although not just outside the front door.

There are no tea / coffee making facilities in the room.

It was really ok, well-situated in the heart of roma, I would choose it again!!!

The best location, and walking distant to everywhere and major sights. Walking distant to Spanish Step-

Elevator was small and old- Window has no screen. Beware that weekend rate are double than week day-

Great location, all the sites walkable from the hotel after a good breakfast to set you up for the day. Nice restaurants, bars and deli's only 5 minutes away. The staff ever so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This is the third time I have stayed here. I come with a group and we have always found the staff to be very helpful and effecient. The breakfasts are ideal with plenty of choice. The buses are just across the road to most of the main areas and Termini is 10 mins walk away. You can also walk to Trajan's forum in 15 mins. The location for good, inexpensive restaurants is ideal.

The rooms are now looking a little 'tired' and probably need an update. But this is a very good hotel for the money.

Great location, next to metro, train station and downtown Roma.

All of the staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful, recommending restaurants and organizing taxis.

Breakfast was lacking a little in choice and variety.

The staff is very friendly and the cleaning is good. There are toothbrushes in the bathroom, which is not very common for the 3 stars hotels. The location is nice: just under 20 minutes to historical sights as Trevi and Quirinal palace, Corso street, Villa Borgese, 10 for the Termini station and 5 to the Rinascente store. Still the room is quiet. The breakfast is continental and ok.

It is very cold in bathroom in winter. The wi-fi is slow and sometimes difficult to connect.

Excellent and very ftiendly staff at reception, very clean and silent room, best location to the railway station (termini), public transport and sightseengs (15 minuts walking to trevi)
