Excellent multilingual staff Most comfortable bed of our entire trip Late check out Views from rooftop
Food is yummy, loft cafe has stunning view, beautiful art all over the hotel
Rooms are small but that's italy if staying at old buildings and in heart of Rome locations, but still very well equipped, shower is weird
The location is perfect and the room (Richard Meier suite) was also great.
The design of the Restaurant downstairs is not in Line with the room. It probably needs to be modernized. The tables are too close to each other. Twinings tea bags for a five star hôtel ??!
Fabulous location and restaurant. Amazing menu! very original.
You can't any closer to Piazza Navona then hotel Raphael.
Older, but charming hotel
Staff at breakfast is super friendly. The interior is very nice. The view from the top of the hotel is just wonderful.
There is only one tiny elevator in the building.
Luxurious with delightful staff. Great breakfasts
everything. The room was fabulous!
it was one of the best ever hotel i have been in my life.amazing hotel with amazing staff.100 out of 100
The location ,breakfast,and excellent service.
The hotel is very noisy and I struggled to get a good night'sleep.I was there for 5 nights.
Steps from the Piazza Navona and easy walking distance for many sights and restaurants. Excellent staff were very friendly and most helpful. We arrived mid-morning and were offered beverages of our choice and cookies--a gracious welcome. Loved the cozy rooftop terrace at cocktail time--great view! Breakfast room very pleasant and buffet was great.
Our suite was spacious, but the awkwardly-placed closet door could not be opened fully because it was blocked by the night table. Both night tables were badly scratched. They had no stamps to mail postcards and no cash to change a 10 Euro bill for tips--conveniences one expects at a 5 Star hotel.
The very attentive staff and a pleasant welcome Attention to detail ( a cake on my birthday!) Very clean An attractive roof garden area for dining All in all a vey pleasant stay in a well located Hotel
The Hotel seems a little too costly, (but I have no experience of late a to the cost of other Hotels)
Location was excellent, just behind a lovely Piazza where there were plenty of fabulous restaurants to sit outside and soak up the atmosphere. Walking distance to Pantheon, Colleseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi, plus the main shopping street. We had a double delux which was shabby chic, very clean, and the staff were great, so helpful and polite with everything. Good old fashioned service! Breakfast staff were wonderful, attention to service, refilling breakfast offerings, and choice all great, relaxing and a good start to the day. We felt we had received a proper Italian holiday with this hotel, and it's location.
Friendly extremely efficient staff. Knowledgable for the historic area And transport when required. A quiet retreat from a busy tourist area.
Great location, beautiful room, and fabulous rooftop bar. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Restaurant inside hotel was great
I visited the hotel before and i found it needs renovation, the location and service are exelent
My daughers room was old really needs renovation
This was our third year in a row at Hotel Raphael. The property, staff, food and location are top notch! Everyone (and I mean everyone - front desk, concierges, bell hops, dining staff, cleaning staff ...) was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms are spacious, clean, trendy and quiet. The location, 1 block in from Piazza Navona, can't be beat. You would never know that a busy piazza was a block away and just a few streets over from the Pantheon. This property is tucked away next to a beautiful church where, if you are lucky enough, you can hear the beautiful organ music - a soothing touch to a beautiful oasis in Roma.
great location great breakfast overall a beautiful facility
occasionally noisy especially during the afternoon nap time
On arrival the staff upgraded our room immediately. I had taken my Mother for her 80th birthday treat and this was a great gesture. The room was ideal and the facilities good - would have been nice to have tea & coffee in the room as the hotel charges for this were outrageous. The hotel location was amazing for getting to all the major sites. My mother managed to walk to almost all the major sites despite having a stick and being unsteady on her feet. The hotel staff helped answering all our questions and fulfilled all our requests. Breakfast was a good spread. I'd definitely stay here again.
There was a limited amount of public spaces to relax - the reception area or the terrace up a lots of stairs. My elderly mother struggled to get up the stairs and one cup of tea and one of coffee cost £12.50 - very expensive! Other guests were very noisy when they returned to their rooms during the night and the wooden floors on the corridors amplified the noise.
Rooftop restaurant was excellent on a balmy evening (in mid September!), although be aware it's vegetarian. Being upgraded made it better value for money!
Not a lot.
Location, room, roof terrace
Breakfast is fair but could be enriched (for a 5 stars)
EXTREMELY helpful staff. Great rooftop view in the hotel
The rooftop restaurant was vegeterian only, and if i dont eat meat i feel like i did not have a proper meal. :D
Location was excellent - 1 block from Piazza Navonna -but quiet. Staff was very helpfull and friendly, quick to recommend restaurants, etcetera. Bed very comfy. Great bathroom with double sink, spacious tub and separate shower. Good closet and drawer space. Great hair dryer.
Deluxe rooms seemed small as the couch and chair made for a tight fit. Chair cushion needed replacement. Very little space between walls and king bed.
Beautifully appointed room Meticulously clean Staff was incredibly attentive Accommodated every request Arrangements & service were flawless Were treated like royalty Amazing location Breakfast was superb
