Score from 605 reviews Wonderful
The hotel is wonderfully located being in a quiet location just off the Piazza Navona. It is not too large with a pleasant reception area. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and we got a room upgrade which also helped. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and very attentive staff.
Perhaps a little on the expensive side.
location, comfort, great bed, great bath, breakfast, staff, deco
complicated and ambiguous foreign TV channels access
location, breakfast, hospitality
amazing location, beautiful room, great staff. Perfect hotel for me.
This was my third stay this year, and the hotel does not disappoint. Its ivy-covered façade is admired by all who pass, and its location a few steps from Piazza Navona make it a great base to explore the city. The roof terrace is incredible, and inexplicably underused: usually there is nobody else there. The Richard Meier rooms are beautiful with modern, clean lines. Breakfast is good, although why it is not on the roof terrace is beyond me
Service can be a little quirky, and be prepared that some of the rooms are noisy (this is central Rome)
there is a total mix of two styles that do not work together at all ,the hotel was much nicer before this very expensive but office looking like modern refurbishment
Old worldly, location could not be better. Ability to walk to all major attrcations Lots of cafe/bars to eat and drink in. Terrace bar excellent for a lunch or early pre diner drink, would be very romantic for a couple on honeymoon or getting to know each other :) Breakfast was much better than I expected. Service on the whole was with a smile and people listened which is always nice! Best thing I can say is was expensive but would defintiely stay there again
For me it was perfect, my wife said she would have preferred more modern whcih we nearly always stay at as we travel a lot. Price was high but was for a special occasion.
Excellent location and amenities, and the staff were absolutely amazing with impeccable service. I'm in the hotel business myself and was blown away with how good this hotel is.
Very helpful staff. Very friendly and professional and accommodating.
Our hotel room needs total renovation, possibly keeping the marble, as it is very nice.
Incredible view over the roofes of Rome; especially at night. Perfect, location - central but quiet.
Great location and incredibly comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious, beautifully equipped. Decor was elegant. Staff was helpful and friendly. Dinner on the rooftop terrace was delicious and scenery beautiful.
The location was within a few blocks of Piazza Navona, the Pantheon etc. Upon arrival we were given welcome drinks and the rooms that were ready were given to us right away. The staff arranged several private tours for us and the guides were amazing. They also arranged transportation to the airport at 4:30 am and the driver was great. The reception desk clerk even came out and waived goodby to us as we left! The rooms are updated and very luxurious. We were all upgraded to suites. The hotel bar was very nice and the bartenders were very helpful. The rooftop bar is beautiful and in good weather it would be a must for a great view of Rome!
Breakfast was included and it was a large buffet. I just didn't find what I liked from the buffet. My group did like the buffet so its probably just personal preference. There were a few mechanical problems with one of our rooms and the elevator but they were addressed quickly.
there was nothing i didn't like.
Location, staff service orientation and friendliness.
Breakfast - poor choice of food and not to the same standard of the hotel. Though, the staff at breakfast is great.
Sincerely, everything was excellent.
In my room, I could not take a shower. If i did so, then i would have spilled all the water out of the bathroom.
Courteous and accommodating staff Great breakfast
The blank wall approximately 10 feet away from our window
The location simply can't be beat. We were one minute away from the piazza. The staff were friendly when they were helping you and provided excellent customer service.
We ordered 2 Richard Meier rooms but they were not the same in size. One was upstairs in the third floor which was a lot smaller than the one on the second floor. The smaller one had a broken window blind and the bed didn't move up and down and really was a lot smaller down to the bathroom being smaller. Paying the same price for the rooms but getting two different products was not a good thing.
Staff was wonderful!!!! Always willing to help in any way and always extremely friendly. Dr. and Mrs. Wright
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The location was excellent- next to Piazza Novona and walking distance to Trevi, Spanish Steps and the Vatican. Many restaurants close by to choose from.
Rooms are small.
Excellent multilingual staff Most comfortable bed of our entire trip Late check out Views from rooftop
Location and service was excellent. The staff was excellent
The bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable to use. The shower-bath tub was difficult to get in and out. The door to the bathroom took up too much space. There is no chair in the room to sit in. It was necessary to sit on the bed. The price of the room was not value for the money
Food is yummy, loft cafe has stunning view, beautiful art all over the hotel
Rooms are small but that's italy if staying at old buildings and in heart of Rome locations, but still very well equipped, shower is weird
The location is perfect and the room (Richard Meier suite) was also great.
The design of the Restaurant downstairs is not in Line with the room. It probably needs to be modernized. The tables are too close to each other. Twinings tea bags for a five star hôtel ??!
