Hotel Raphael – Relais & Châteaux  

We enjoyed the sight seeing in Rome very much while staying at the Hotel Raphael. It was located very closed to Piazza Navona. There was a lot of restaurantes around it. We felt that the Hotel Raphael locates in a safety area even late at night. Also, it was very easy to access to many of the famous facilities in Rome on foot. So, we think that thiis was one of the recommened hotels in Rome.

We did not have any complaints during our three night stay.

I thought the hotel was excellently situated for all the attractions in Rome

I thought the hotel was very expensive and didn't give value for money, we were supposed to have bath robes in the room, we never. The drinks and crisps from the mini bar were extortionate.

The concierges were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations. One particular employee made extra effort to accommodate my need for an adaptor for my cellphone. Breakfast was excellent. We really liked the double shower heads.

Room is quite small. The lighting is inadequate particularly for reading in bed. There is no light at all at the desk area making it useless for any kind of work. Might it be possible to arrange for some tv programming in english?

The stuff is very polite and helpful. The breakfast is spectacular and the location cannot be better within the city of Rome. We enjoyed our stay very much.

During the winter we love to open the windows for fresh air (since the room gets quite stuffy without a good flow of air when the windows are shut), it is almost impossible since there is incredible noise from the outside througout the whole night (of groups of people who stream out of the many restaurants and bars within the region). During the summer this problem is less acute since there is an aircondition systen at work.

We were delighted with every aspect of this hotel and the staff. The rooms are exceptionally well appointed and scrupulously clean. All the staff are relaxed, cheerful and very helpful concerning any aspect of our stay in Rome. Thankfully for us their knowledge of English was very good. We ate two evening meals in the restaurant and one at the roof top garden ..... very good ambience to match the well served, very good food. The breakfast buffets were kept topped up at all times and had a very full range of hot and cold foods. Altogether a pleasurable break.

The hotel has a classy old style appearance and the staff are extremely helpful.

The hotel was in an excellent location, very close to the main attractions of Rome. The room was spacious and everything in the room shouted luxury. The staff wee helpful, courteous and friendly and immediately made you felt welcomed. The roof top terrace has beautiful views and we imahine in the summer this would be an excellent place to have drinks.

The location is excellent. The front of house staff are excellent as was the breakfast.Good WiFi

No air conditioning in room during winter. The hotel room was very warm at night which meant we had to open the window, and the street outside was very noisy at times, There is no option of getting an iron in your room.Your clothes have to be sent away which is inconvenient if you need to iron something quickly.

It is obviously a very well managed hotel with friendly staff, excellent style, and best possible location.

Somewhat too expensive

Pleasant, friendly city centre hotel in a first rate central location. Would highly recommend the roof terrace with wonderful views over the city.

I hadn't appreciated quite how small the hotel is and for the price we paid our suite really wasn't very large. However they had made the most of the space with clean modern design and the bathroom in particular, with marble fittings, was excellent.

Perfect hotel for our all too brief honeymoon. The reception on arrival, helpful staff and the amazing location made it a stay to remember. Loved the showers in the bathroom and the gift pack on leaving was a lovely touch.
