Location and service were excellent

The incredible helpful team, always ready to any demand, impecable foreign languages speaking, with coverage in all major international languages. As promised on the site, impressive gallery of art pieces, with special flavour due to public confortable disposal. The Romanian members, either managing, welcome, maintenance or front desk, were really impresive in art and tourism information provided. Certainly, we must congratulate them along their other nationalities colleagues. About the location, we cannot say more: we only walked up to all major attractions, from Borghese Gardens to Collosseum, the hotel is in the very elegant heart of Rome We hope to be back again. Well located, right beside Piazza Navona.

Staff constantly knocked on doors, even when Do Not Disturb sign was on. When no one answers, they come in anyway (despite the Do Not Disturb). One of my party was woken up late at night by mistake. My experience with this chain has never been very satisfactory; thought I would give Raphael a try because of its location, but once again a Relais et Chateaux property is deficient compared with the price paid.

We chose the Raphael because of its star rating. My wife and I were celebrating my 80th. birthday and because of this when we got there they had upgraded us to a suite which was a marvelous gesture. Unfortunately during our stay my wife had a fall in the city and had to be airlifted back to England. Whilst she was confined to the hotel awaiting medical assistance from the UK the hotel staff were brilliant. Well done Raphael--pit was all appreciated.

Excellent, everything is thought of for you, the staff very friendly and yet still extremely professional. I wanted to stay forever.

Its location

Poorly managed property with unfriendly, disinterested, unhelpful and unqualified staff - about a three star experience for a five star bill. Not worthy to be a member of the Relais & Chateaux family.

Location -and room

Remote control -that controls mattress did not work on 1 side. Paint was peeling on the wall .

Big room, very friendly staff, very clean.

It is obviously a very well managed hotel with friendly staff, excellent style, and best possible location.

Somewhat too expensive

Location was fantastic, even though a luxury hotel the staff were very relaxed and friendly, not stuffy and also the hotel was beautifully decorated.

Perfect location, intimate hotel with gracious staff. Fabulous bathroom,comfy bed

Room temperature a bit too warm and not able to lower temperature, a lot of street noise if window was open

The staff was very friendly. We ate at the rooftop terrace restaurant and it was the most amazing view! The waiters were professional and made us feel very welcome. The room was beautifully designed. It is a perfect location for exploring St. Peter's, Piazza Navona and Sant Angelo.
