very good location and warm staffs
less than 2 Mins walk from the train station, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff
Good, small, and quiet. The shower head was really nice and the shower was spacious which is usually hard to find. It was a good place to rest before my early flight the next morning but the taxi drivers had a hard time finding it for some reason and I had to pay extra for the cab because he was making circles around the block.
When I walked in it smelled like smoke (even though they say it's nonsmoking) and the soap tray in the bathroom had cigarette burn marks on it. Also when I opened the toilet it hadn't been flushed which tells me the bathroom probably hadn't really been cleaned between visitors.
The location is good.
- NO AIRCON AT ALL! Even if we complained a couple of times and they said they turned off the air-conditioning since it is winter, but the temperature then was far from winter. My poor young child was sweating all night! Once when we asked, they said they turned it on, but there actually was no change, it is still very hot. You cannot open the windows because of the noise outside, and more mosquitos will come if you do. - There are LOTS OF MOSQUITOS, my poor child had lots of mosquito bites on his arms and legs which left a mark for a while and showed in his holiday photos. When we showed the bites to the older lady, she said it's because of the weather in Florence and just shrugged it off. - Staff are not consistent, upon check-in, we asked if they can give us a late check-out. The younger guy confirmed us that we can stay up to 2pm on our last day (we asked him twice when we passed by the reception so we can never be wrong), but when we checked out only the older man was there. As an instinct, we verified with the older man that we are ok for late check-out, and surprised he said NO WAY we can check-out late. We cannot do anything so we came back to the room and packed our things and left it in their segregated cafeteria area and came back at 2pm. Imagine if on our last day we didn't double check with the older guy, we might find ourselves paying for an extra day we thought was free to check-out late. We tried to explain that we were allowed, but to no avail. - No soundproofing, you can hear the closing of doors of the next room and the noise of the street cars. - No lift but one man helped us with the baggage on check-in but nobody assisted us on check-out since only the older man and woman was there.
Right by the train station but pleasant neighbourhood with an excellent laundromat, grocery, fish restaurant, and gluten free bakery all on the block.
Caution. No elevator but they carried the bag an hour later
Proximity to train station. Friendliness of the receptionist Nice big room with extra blankets and pillows. Clean and well maintained Bakery right next door
No coffee and tea in the room.
Location near train terminal and tourist attractions
Room too small and beds too small to sleep well in.
The staff was very nice and patient. Room was big and complete facilities are provided. Wifi was free and excellent.
The staff can not speak English well so we spent a lot of time on check-in.
Perfect service and location.
Room is a little bit old and small.
Owners are quite quite kind and nice persons, they would like to help whenever you ask. The hotel is just a few steps from historical center. The room was very clean. Parking the vehicle in Florence is a great problem but hotel stuff is calling private parking to take your car to the parking area, the cost is fair, 18-20€/day (you should ask a reservation for your vehicle before)
Clean, good location and comfortable beds.
For the price, nothing.
Front desk staff friendly and helpful.
Cleaning lady unfriendly and often missed restocking necessities.
Nice hotel conveniently located near the train station. Great price for what's there. Wifi awesome. Gentleman at the desk nice and welcoming.
Bit of mold in the AC unit and shower. Can't be helped I understand sometimes due to moisture/heat conditions.
Good location near train station and the old town. The staff was nice and helpful.
Mosquito in the room, i woke up early
Very convenient location between the main railway station and the bus station, which is very important if you want to visit Florence neighborhood or use this place as a starting point to visit other cities in Italy. As for Florence, the hotel is near the historic city center, all attractions are within the walking distance. Very nice and friendly owners and the staff. The hotel is clean and neat. I will definitely stay again in this hotel.
The only thing I don't like - the decorations (artificial flowers) and old-fashioned wall-paper (plane, white or monotone walls would be much better).
Very close to the train station, and sights. Hotel staff was very accommodating. Appreciated them holding our luggage until we caught the train to leave. The room didn't have a fridge, but they were kind to put items in need of refrigeration in the office fridge for us.
Could hear neighbor snoring loudly. Rooms could use more sound proofing.
No safe in room. No fridge in room
next to the train station
it is very dirty wi-fi doesnt work in the room.
Good location, helpful stuff. Over all very good.
There were no connection sometimes for the internet.
centrally located next to the central railway station of Florence..A good overnight alternative before taking the train the next morning..
Around the train station is not the most attractive /inviting part of Florence..
hotel is near the train station, supermarket store and restaurants near by, the room is neat and the staffs is very helpful, sure will stay in next time when coming to Florance
the room we have is facing to the street and a bit noisy
