Clean and close to train terminal Santa Maria Novella train station.

Very close from the railway station and bus station. In a pretty big street, but the triple windows helped to insulate from almost all the noise. It's also nice to have good free wifi connection.

Its a Family run hotel. The couple that takes care of it are very sweet, friendly.

Not to have breakfast.

Location just in front of main train station.

- Non speaking english owner. - No comfort in the room : Really cold floors for winter. Aircon is really old. Flood in the bathroom.

Good price and wonderful location. It is near to the major train station and bus terminal, which enables us to get to every spot very conveniently. It will sudenly turn quiet when closing the window, which makes it very comfortable for sleeping at night. Besides, i'd like to express my sincere gratitude to the owner for helping deliver the luggages up-and-down stairs.

Hotel Rayan was conveniently located near the train station and numerous city attractions/shopping/museums and churches.

Hotel Rayan is on a VERY busy street/ intersection. Other reviewers have mentioned this but let me emphasize the VERY. Cars, buses, ambulances, etc., were very noisy throughout the day and into the night (2 AM)

Convenient location - needed to be close to SMN station and it was right there around the corner. The staff were excellent.

Hotel is ideally located near the railway station and many food outlets.Discovery tour of Florence starts right outside the hotel. Tourist office is reachable in 5 minutes. The rooms are clean and staff is friendly.

Friendly, helpful staff and personalized service? Supermarket a short distance away, within hopping distance from SMN station.

I liked the fact that I was given more than I expected. At the time of my (internet) booking I was told "No breakfast included." But when I returned from my first night out with friends, I found a tray on the table of my room with a teabag, a "cornetto," some small confections of jam, and a teabag. There was an electric kettle for boiling water, so: voilà! There was my breakfast... I also liked the fact that one of the staff allowed me to make a (free) phone call to my home town in Italy, to ask if my car was ready to pick up from being repaired when I got back after my stay in Florence (it was). The proprieter was extremely gracious and helpful and we had free wifi in our room. It was convenient to the sights and the train station for easy pedestrian travel.

The air conditioning could not quite keep up with the heat and the beds were on the firm side. Bathroom was small but had a larger shower.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is at a perfect location, a few minutes walking distance to and from train. I recommend it and stay at the Rayan again when I go back to Florence for sure!

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Rayan. The staff are extremely kind and very helpful. The location is perfect! It's located almost directly behind the Florence train station (maybe a 2-3 minute walk) as well as near city and country bus stops/stations. It's also within walking distance of all the major attractions in Florence. It was the perfect place for my stay in Florence!

Room is old and not clean enough. Very noisy, you can heard people taking shower in the bathroom next door!!

The location of the hotel very near the train station, also the bus to go The Mall is just a coroner next to the hotel.

No lift, i need to took my heavy luggage to first floor! But i think the hotel is in a small old building, no lift is reasonable.

The staff is friendly. I was booked wrongly on the date but the staff still help me do modification before I reached. It saves one night accomodation.

The lighting was not "light" enough, and outside our room was a bus stop and so noisy during morning session.

We found the Rayan hotel filled all our needs. The staff were most accommodating and very friendly. Rooms were very clean. Only negative . No English tv chanel.
