Located just a few steps away from the Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano, this elegant hotel is set in wonderful building dated mid 1900.

Recently renovated, the hotel has been transformed into a comfortable, modern hotel with easy wheelchairs access. The high care of the owner has made this hotel into a ’home’; well-equipped with all comforts and discretion typical of the antique and sacred hospitality of Rome.

The area of San Giovanni is one of the oldest and most central of the city, here you can find different architectural styles from different historical periods; from the ancient Roman and Christian walls to the magnificent Baroque buildings and the peculiar Fascism period.

During your stay you can easily explore Via Appia, this is one of the main shopping areas of the city and attached to the picturesque market of Via Sannio (Tuesday and Friday)

The Piazza Re di Roma is also very close to the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, at a few metres from the Re di Roma (line A) underground stop, at 200 metres from the Tuscolana train station and 1.5 km from the main Termini Station.

Maybe breakfast hours could be a bit longer on weekends.

Good location and staff mostly helpful. The breakfast was quite good, the rooms were very nice and clean.

The walls are paper-thin so noise was a big problem, I would not recommend this hotel because of this issue. Noises from other rooms can be heard at all times, making sleeping difficult without ear protection which I fortunately took with me.

Lovely hotel. Extremely clean and well maintained. Breakfast was also very good.

Hotel was a little far from the main city centre of Rome, which is generally not that accessable by Metro so it was necessary to use taxi's, however it was generally less than 10 Euro from the city centre to the Hotel via Taxi.

I like the hotel staff, every one speak english and are nice people.Also hotel is very nice and clean. For 3 stars.... look like 4*!

The only think that they have to do is room service.If you are hungry in the night you must go out to eat!

An excellent hotel close to city centre via Metro. We strongly recommend staying there!

There are several restaurants in the area and it would assist if the Guest Folder in the room contained a sheet listing these (as most hotels do).

The room was modern contemporary, spotlessly clean and with great air-con.

Pillows were a little on the firm side and noise from adjacent rooms can be a little annoying.

Modern rooms well-designed and comfrotable, helpful staff, free internet access, good location away from the crowds but close to metro

Buffet breakfast somewhat limited and monotonous, no shelves or drawers for clothing in the room.

Lovely, friendly hotel. Conveniently located on underground A line for accessing the city. Easy to get to from Ciampino airport too. Room was nicely decorated and immaculately clean. Good breakfast and plenty of it. Staff were all great. Will be back.
