The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The free wifi was a great bonus. Not very conveniently located, far away from the train station and the city center, although bus #1 stops next to the hotel.

We weren't aware that the hotel was undergoing alterations to the car park and when we arrived the noise was quite loud. So we went out and thankfully it had stopped by the time we returned. However we were woken up by the workmen working onthe car park outside our room on Saturday morning at 7.20 am which was quite early, this prevented us from using the pool the previous day and morning due to the noise.

Due to renovations the Regal hotel restaurant was closed however arrangements were available with a "sister "hotel - best western master. The food was fabulous as were the wines. This wining /dining experience would satisfy even the most discerning client - I was amazed to see only 5 -6 people taking dinner although I was assured that weekdays were much busier. The rural atmosphere [compared to Rome /Venice /Milan] was wonderful and relaxing and I wish I had arranged more time to enjoy the local highlights. The hotel room could be descibed as a little austere.

Very good location and excellent value for money for people like us who had a car and wanted to tour the area but didn't want the added expense and crowds associated with bigger, busier hotels at the more traditional holiday resorts, such as Garda. Partcularly liked the fact that we had access to a fridge in our room, as the temperatures were generally 35-40C during our stay. We loved this hotel - staff were always helpful but never 'in-your face'. Brescia is also a lot nicer city than many Internet reviews would lead you to believe and has good transport links (road and rail) to many of the key locations in Northern Italy. (They also play Rugby there - which can only be a good thing!) It was a shame that the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay and it would have been good to have at least one English speaking TV news channel in our room (BBC World, CNN etc), although this disappointment was lessened by the fact that free Wi-Fi was available.

Clean, pool was great too. Room was nice and spacious, parking and wi-fi was free. Underground garage was great. Hotel was near the center. We booked a room for 3 adults and 2 children, but on arrivall our room was not available and we left children and one adult in the hotel and we went to another one 2km away. It was not that bad since we had car and someone to be with children, otherwise it could be complicated.

It was a great stay. We enjoyed the friendly staff, the pool and the restaurant. The room was sufficient for the four of us, no problems there. Neat, clean and modern. If needed we will surely pick Regal Hotel to stay again.

this hotel is "nothing to write home about" and thats whats good about it! great value for money. and if you are not looking for much more than a place to sleep and get a good breakfest, thats a good place. after reading all the reviews here we came ready and... there is some noise at night from ambulance but its no big deal at all. you should come early for breakfest cuase they have only one worker who do everything so at 09:00 everything is empty and you need to ask for everything you want. the pool on the roof is a nice extra, we used it twice in 6 nights and its nice to read a book there. the free internet is working very good and they have free printer too they must add some manpower to the breakfest. every morning we had problems, many things were missing and we needed to ask for them and sometimes wait 15-20 min until it was done. it was writen in our reservation that we get free water, and every day we asked them to bring it cuase housekeeping didnt put bottles in the room. in the end, in every hotles there are some problems and this one is a good value for money and i might come back there if i will have a trip in the area in the future
