Location, style, food quality, service.

Air conditioning broken. Room rather small.

This is a lovely hotel located a minute walk from the lake side. Had booked a junior suite and was upgraded FOC to the main suite - a nice bonus! Stayed with my wife and had a wonderful time. The quality of the hotel restaurant is very high and the breakfast was exquisite.

Reception staff were efficient but could be a touch more friendly. Wifi connection in our room (3rd floor) was a little intermittent.

The location was perfect, next to the lake and the shopping streets (although Garda was a bit disappointing for shopping). The restaurant at the hotel was excellent (both à la carte and the fixed menu), a real gourmet suprise, which easily compares to restaurants in many 5-star hotels. The breakfast was also superb, with great variety of choises and fresh ingredients. We didn't try out the outdoor pool as the weather in April was still a bit too cold, but the indoor pool was very nice. We stayed in a junior suite, which was sufficient for two adults and two kids. The only thing missing was a separate seating area. The hotel staff was very nice, helpful and accomodating. We would go here again.

We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was more than accomodating and helped us with any need we had. The location was excellent for sightseeing all around the lake and its environs. We were sorry to be so busy during our stay that we did not make use of the spa. Breakfast was terrific!!!

Nothing. However, there were no instructions on how to use the phone, etc. As foreigners, we had no idea of how to contact staff. We were always having to go to the front desk.

The room was spacious and well appointed and had a large and well fitted bathroom. We were most comfortable with our room. Breakfast was also good. The hotel had a wide range of reception rooms available, had sufficient and free parking, and also free wi-fi availability. It was quiet and in a wonderful position in relation to the lake.

We were not impressed by the dinner menu. There was a limited choice and considering the expensive menu we would have expected a wider choice and a more caring service. We came away from dinner feeling that we had been an imposition on the staff. Certainly compared poorly with many similar hotels I have eaten in over the past 25 years. On arrival we also felt that we were getting in the way of something more important being conducted by reception, although at check-out the experience was contrary to this.

the staff were excellant and spoke very good English< the rooms were very nicely layed out and pleasant to the eye. facilities were also very good.

Nice grounds, pleasant public rooms, very professional staff and an outstanding breakfast.

Poor Value. We paid 235 Euros a night via Booking.com for a Superior Room with breakfast. The room was so small as to be claustrophobic. If you moved an armchair to get to the safe then you couldn,t get to the side of the bed. After two nights we asked for a larger room and had to pay an additional 70 euros a night for a junior suite. The junior suite was a large room and was fine but not worth 300 euros a night. On the last day we paid 100 euros for a late checkout at 17.00 and the maid refused to make up the room for the day and I had to go to reception for a variation in the rules. Even some of the staff told us that some of the rooms were too small - without any prompting from us.

I couldn't have asked for more from our stay in this hotel booked for the 2 night weekend last wknd of June '12 for my boyfriend's 30th Birthday! Everything was perfect, I put in a request for a private balcony and instead got a huge terrace on the quiet side of the hotel next to the swimming pool and bar. It was very private and felt like we had our own villa! On one side of the terrace it overlooked one of the streets from the Old Town and made it even more charming to stay in such a brilliant location in Garda only 40 minutes drive away from Verona airport. The hotel staff were friendly, brilliant and arranged everything from a low cost taxi transfer to birthday candles on my boyfriend's dessert!! The Michelin star restaurant produced delicious food and well worth booking. We took boat trips to visit other parts of the lake but staying in such a place made our whole 2 short days seem magical and would happily recommend to anyone and would love to stay there again!! :-)

The location was perfect, very central for shopping, resturants. Bars, promenade etc. The rooms were extremely comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent with a good and varied choice and although we only ate in the resturant once this too was excellent. The staff were always very courteous and extremely helpful. An excellent hotel. We will be going back next year.

I booked superior double room, and prefered quite room. When I arrived, I got very noise position, on the rood. Receptions officer is not polite.

We loved everything about the hotel. It was quiet and convenient with all the amenities we were looking for and we loved the food and the staff.

Excellent hotel with great facilities, friendly and attentive staff, and superb lakeside location.

Rather overpriced compared to other similar standard hotels in this area, and restaurant arrangements were bizarre - we were not allowed to eat in the external section of the restaurant (on a balmy early summer evening) unless we took the à la carte menu. Restaurant service too rushed - couldn't wait to whisk our plates away, almost as if they wanted us to leave as soon as possible. We decided not to eat in the hotel again, and instead walked into towm where the restaurant selection is overwhelming.

The location and hotel was very impressive. The food was excellent and half board proved very good value for money. It was far more than expected and, as a result, we do plan to return. The six courses available in the evening was of the highest standard and service. It was a memorable stay.

L'unica cosa negativa e' stata che avendo richiesto una tripla come terzo letto abbiamo trovato una brandina e non un letto.
