Very close to many of the major attractions. Right on the Piazza del Mercato Centrale (Central Market) Mercato di San Lorenzo was so convenient for breakfast or ... what ever.
There was no staff on Sunday to check us out.
The location and the staff was good. The room was ok.
The wifi is only available on the reception, and the bathroom could receive some improvements although it was ok for the money paid. They should also change their cleaning products as they do not smell good.
location, cleanliness, staff (staff is really very helpfull and do not hesitate to help you, and is available anytime you need )
In the evening, there was the smell of food in the bedrooms (Our room was next to the kitchen).
Cheapest we could get
Very thin pillows, tiny shower with just a useless shower curtain - still got all the room wet, no wifi in bedroom - only in the lobby
thr location is really good, just near the restaurant zaza! And it's very close to the central market!
near train station. Near the SMC and SLC. But its a small town after all everything is together. Clean.
Not enough space. Wifi only available in the hall. room and beds are shabby.
I have never seen any worse service in the hospitality industry in my life. Upon our arrival, the receptionist didn't even say greeting words such as welcome or hello. He just yelled, "YOUR NAME!!" I noticed he was also rude to other Asian tourists so I wondered if he didn't want Asian guests why he even accepted them in the hotel? Another receptionist was very offensive on our departure. Just the worst service and inexistant hospitality to sum it up.
very close to the churches, sightseeing streets, not far to the train station
Internet only at the lobby
It is very close to major spots, like San Lorenzo, Piazza San Marco, Duomo and Station. Good restaurant (Za-Za) is right around the corner on the market square. Bedding was nice and fresh. I sleep with ear plugs, I don't know if it would be quiet without them.
As usual they don't accept American Express. The bathrooms were dirty and the shower took no less than 5-7 minutes to get warm. The man at reception told me that the boiler is two floors down and that I should be patient - but then they cannot charge 36-44 € out of season for the room! It was not clear where to check in either and I had to walk up and down the stairs with my suitcase (the elevator was not working). There was a nasty odour in the room and bathroom, maybe because the walls are damp. I don't think I will stay here again.
Terrible breakfirst. Dry biscuits in plastic and powder coffee an nothing more, in poor corner where you can only stare at the wall.
Love the location. The room was spacious. Quiet neighbourhood.
The bathroom was tiny -- could not sit on toilet properly. Shower did not drain properly. Bathroom door did not close easily.
It took the hotel staff 3 days to fix the door of our shared bathroom where the lock was broken, so we had to shower with open door. Alternatively we could choose the other bathroom where the water was not flowing down the drain, and the water was literally up to ankle level. :( The hotel was not matching the expectation from the pictures uploaded or the average rating.
the view from the room was terrible. no a/c, dirty walls, bkfst served in dingy room, face to the wall. leisure area dirty as was reception area.
1. Good location and nearby the train station. 2. There have two chinese restaurants nearby here. 3. It is worth to by a leather bag in the wholesale market。(just spent 1 minutes walk from the hotel to there)
1. not friendly stuff. 2. A very small room with bad decoration 。 3. A very small bathroom, you need to share it with other guest, and it is not very clean. 4.the price is too expensive, it not worthy for this condition. 5.crowed and noisy room，because it is nearby the leather wholesale market。 6.I am afraid of the monitor, may be it is not safe for the guest.
staff is nice anyway
not clean enough
excellent location and very nice and helpfull staff, including the owner. high level of security and good clening service. the city is extraordinary and so it is the entire tuscan region , and like every turistic town, it is a little too expensive, so, the price, in my opinion, is higher then we expect for an one star hotel, but for Florence it's no expensive at all.
same breakfast every morning, otherwise not so bad, and a lot of cofee and orange juice
Room is very samll
The Location is near the central market
Shared bath Room and limited Space
It was the very last minute booking and I did not have much option. Florence was almost 90% booking and this was the cheapest available nearest the historic center. The location is great, staff helpful, breakfast pretty reasonable considering the price in Florence. That's that.
staff were horrible very rude room smells terrible shower facilty was not clean horrible water pressure rooms were never cleaned and towels were never change i would never recommend staying here to anyone
Location Staff very friendly Economical
Shower tiny Our bed separated in middle & we could get it to stay together Poor breakfast especially if you are celiac or yeast intolerant.
Location - bedroom was great
Bathroom a bit too small but adequate. A cereal or yoghurt for breakfast would have added value. Most guests did not eat the white bread roll.
