Hotel Regina  

Takfläkten var guld värd i 33 graders värme! Läget utmärkt och frukosten bra.

Toa och dusch i korridoren är förstås inte höjden av bekvämlighet... men det funkade. Frukostrummet var trångt och hade trist lysrörsbelysning.

Excelent and central location, just a few minutes from Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza della Signoria, Uffizzi, etc.. Ideal to visit the city by foot, like we are invited to do at Florence. Friendly stuff at the reception, although the cleaning and breakfast service it is not very simpathetic, but in general comercial services are also very very bad in Italy.

It is an adventure to deal with the shower: tiny and with the feet on the floor (we wore sandals), the bathroom itself is really very small. The device on the shower to separate it from the other space was broken and it seemed to fall suddenly, which happily did not occur. But in the end everything worked fine. Just be patient and think that you are in the very, beautiful and exciting heart of a marvelous city (but do not go to Gigi, via della Ninna 3, the employers are totally rude and insainly brutal!)

The staff was completely impolite. Sometimes we had to wait for 10-15 min at night for the reception to open the door. They took my own hairdryer and they didn't want to give it back to me. The next point is a number of guest in our room. We were suprised at the last two days that we couldn't invite our friends to the room. The staff didn't say "I'm sorry" to all these problems. The rate of this hotel at Booking.com is definitely exagerated.

I've been traveling for a month, and that was the worst hotel. The staff yelled at us when we tried to check out because the hotel smelled horrible. The bathromms are a joke, the entire hotel is a joke. We even threaten to call the police and then the man there started yelling even louder, saying that we just wanted to complain. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Breakfast was really poor compared with what was described being a "buffet" breakfast! That was the only disappointment, otherwise everything else was fine.

Good location

Good location near the leather market and Santa Maria Fiora. Also near the train station around 10 minutes work.

A little noisy in the night.

Its really near from the station. (10Min by walk) its cheap.(we stayed 36euro one night)

The room was small. in the bathroom i found a big SPIDER!!!!! and i asked to take it off but they didnt do anythig. they didnt preper the toiletpapers.(we we arrived there was half )so when we finished this half one. we HAD TO ask them another one.

It was right in the heart of Florence. 10 minute walk from any major attraction.

The room was really, really blue. Like, baby blue.

The only window opens into some smelly shaft, shower was horrible. Room photos in the internet were different.

The location was great. It was quiet during the night and had comfortable bedding and bath amenities.

I didn't like the pervasive offensive smell. Especially in the bathroom.

It's a cheap hotel and so you can't expect too much from it. A bed and shared bathroom is all. But everything was clean :) When in Florence you have to get out and enjoy this beautifull city, so when you're in the hotel 80% of the time your eyes are closed. The people from the hotel where very nice and they didn't mind us using the bathroom and the cauch at the desk even after checking out. Probably not a good hotel for summer, since there's no airconditioning, but for the seasons it's fine. The location is nice, close to the train/bus station and close to the dome and center. Perfect location!!
