In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.

Loved the location, very accessible, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Denis at the desk went out of his way to make me feel welcome and was very knowledgeable on the city and its sights A+++
Regina Giovanni is based on the 1st floor within a large superb building, rented by other hoteliers. Staff were helpful and rooms were large with lovely shower room with toilet and beady. I got this on a deal and could not believe the bargain as it was out of season.
There did not appear to be any facilities to have food, but there are lots of cafe, pubs and eating place close by.
Friendly staff, large clean family room, 10 minutes from Colosseum...what's not to like?
The location was great, with train station, metro, buses and many of the main sights all within easy reach. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size.
The reception closes at 8pm so check-in is required at another hotel 10 minutes away near the train station. Not having full access to a reception was a problem eg nowhere to leave the heavy bunch of keys when out at night. The bathroom smelt of drains and one of the beds was an uncomfortable sofa bed, not to our son's liking.
The location of the hotel is good and is as described. The room was cleaned well each day.
When I made the reservation, I emailed to be sure there were no steps or stairs to our room since my 77 year old mother would be with me. She has great difficulty going up stairs. I emailed a couple of times to ensure that there would be no stairs. I was assured that there were no stairs. When we arrived, there were 2 separate sections of stairs that my mother had to navigate. When we got to the room, I discovered the wifi didn't work. The second morning, there was no hot water in the shower. When I spoke to Nico at the desk regarding these things, he politely told me I could complain to Booking.com. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
Close to a subway stop, otherwise not too far of walk to main sights
we absolutely love it
Every thing was very much fine, the location, the service and especially the staff, exceptionally friendly, helpful and considerate. In my next travel to Rome I will definitely first investigate a possibility to stay there again. Thank you very much!
There are 2 little things (don't mean I didn't like them, but just mean that they will improve, to my mind, the service further): First, which is common to absolutely every hotel or hostel I ever was, is that the central light (on the ceiling) is relatively poor. Brighter light, I'm sure, would definitely help to enjoy staying there even more. Second, the amount of towels exceeds their need:-) For me personally would be 100% enough to have 2 towels, a small one for foots and other bigger one for the rest of body. This would make services also more environment friendly.
Good central location, with stylish room. As often in Rome, you have to be alert in order to notice the name plate on the door of the hotel, which is rather small.
Clean hotel, nice location
difficult to find
We had a good spacious room with enough room to open 2 suitcases without tripping over them. It was within a couple of blocks from the rail station so walkable if you don't have too much luggage or a knee injury as I did. It has a lift...always a bonus with heavy bags and the air conditioning worked well as did the wifi. There were a number of good restaurants on the side streets. I would be more than happy to stay here again.
Our room had been broken into by a previous occupant when he locked himself out and the repairs to the lock were still incomplete. (We were told he had kicked the door in to gain access breaking the door timber surround). We could see that there was very little that was actually securing the door and I found that unnerving. That said the management were quick to offer a different room which we declined as the damage was not so visible from the outside and there was another security door as well.
Nick was friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean. Marble floors through-out, just lovely.
It's not a very imposing hotel, in that you have to go up to the first floor, and the you might be put in an annexe just up the street, but the rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. There's no breakfast service, but plenty of places in the area for that. Posh it isn't, but definitely respectable, and close enough to walk to from Termini station, which is where you end up if you catch the bus or the train from the airports. WiFi very good.
Nothing of any significance
Every thing related to the hotel and the to the staff.
Absolutely no negatives.
The location is great. Not far from Termini Centrale nor from main attractions. Via Nazionale is a busy street with many restaurants. Wifi coverage was excellent.
There was a sewer smell in the lobby when we arrived. Though not in the room. Poor sound proofing between foyer and room. Staff could be a little more attentive while talking to the guests.
Excellent price/quality ratio. Smack in the middle of Rome + ideally situated to reach places of interest in our just outside of Rome either on foot, metro or rail.
Received a small room compared to what is being advertised on the website There was even no space to put the suitcases out of the way. The adjacent room (that we managed to see during a routine maintenance session) was gigantic compared to ours. A closet with only 3 hangers in it? It's like a restaurant for 30 people with only 3 chairs to sit.
Difficult to find first time
Very convinient location, not far from metro station, there are supermarket and some good shops in the neighborhood, friendly and helpful personnel, clean and comfortable room, good wi-fi
Fantastic Managar, so helpful and nice, always there with tips and help. Also great location and nice rooms.
+ Very good location, close to train station + Close to subway + Big rooms, nice/clean toilets + Room cleaned up every day + Very exciting entrence in hotel, big doors etc.
- Reception is closed after 21:00, if you check-in later than that hour; you have to walk 10mins to another hotel reception. - 1 huge, 2 small keys you have to carry with you in order to get in to hotel.
Location is Excellent, in the middle of Via Nazionale. Spacious main entrance, elevator, no breakfast included. the staff cleans your room everyday but don't change bed sheets. We had a small fridge in the room which was helpful to keep the food and chocolate cold. the room is quiet, soundproof windows. Great value for money. I definitely recommend.
Should include breakfast.
Location good on via nazional a 10 min walk to hotel from termni train station. There are lots of hotel on via nazional, no shortage. Anonymous.
This is not a three star hotel. The picture is deceiving. Had several days of sleepless nights due to lack of AC. The receptionist is a friendly guy but found him angry when told him that the AC was not working. He told me that it is fixed, but it was not. It was hot and humid in the room. WIFI does not work properly. There is no staff after eight at night. You get the keys to main door to get in. You are on your own.
Nice staff, friendly. Clean rooms and what I expected. good for the price.
Wi fi was slow and not dependable. Would not work in the room at all.
Great location - in walking distance to Termini station for day trips from Rome such as Orvieto and Ostia Antica. Easy access to main attractions via the metro and buses but not as crowded as areas such as the Colosseum and Trevi fountain.
Problems with a lack of hot water which took a day to fix.
Very central and close to Metro station. Enoguh restaurants in the neighbourhood. Good valur for the money
I would have liked some kind of restaurant in the hotel for snacks, breakfast, coffee.
