Our stay in this hotel was only for sleep one night, cause we had to take a plane early in the day after, the mattress wasn`t good at all , but as I say only for one night and the price no problem. The old man in the reception was very friendly , congratulations for him. The mattress was horrible.

Very helpfull and friendly staff. You pick up the breakfast in the reception in the morning and eat it in the room. We had fresh croissants and coffee+tea. An elder man in the reception also helped us to book a room in an agriturismo - that was a big help to us. We booked a room with a private bathroom but unfortunately the bathroom was not in the room but in the corridor. The bathroom could have been cleaner but still we did not pay much for the room.

Not much, other than the people were accommodating for Italians and the location was adequate. The bed was old worn and the shower was scary

Probably the only possitive thing about the hotel was that they provided room service and the room was kept tidy. We did not get the shampoo and soap in the room for the following days though... -For 3 days we did not get the breakfast: we were told that the breakfast lasts whole day, as there is always someone in the kitchen, but when we arrived at the reception 10:10am the clerk informed us that we are too late and that we need to 'order' the breakfast to the room! The second day the concierge brought us plain bread without any butter, marmelade, cutlery or anything, three plane white pieces of break and two espressos, no milk. The third day we had to leave at 7 and it was too late for breakfast. Maybe even better for us. -Second thing that was artrocious was the beds-the springs were so damaged that it was utterly impossible to fall asleep without waking up with terrible pain in your back (Im used to backpacking budget hostels, but this was just too much). -The toilets outside were hostel like bear that in mind. And finally. I do not recommend this hotel, i'd rather stay in a hostel for a higher price !!! maybe this kind of service is tipical for Sicily, but to me it was preposterous.

The cheapest available accommodation in Palermo, in the city center. It is not a hotel, more like hostel. The bathroom were very dirty, services with shared facilities should be better kept even because hygienic issues. No toilet paper in the bathroom, broken flusher, no hand towels. The breakfast is a joke – a plastic cup of coffee and thin slice of bare cake per person.

This hotel is a little diamond. Its amazing value for money - my large, clean, cool (in both senses!) room was an excellent place to base myself for exploring Palermo and Sicily. Most importantly, as a solo traveller I felt safe. The staff are excellent, Francesca, Pietro & the team are more than helpful. I spent 3 weeks there away from London and will happily book Regina again - the location is brilliant. This was a lucky find, it made my holiday.

The staff were incredibly helpful, advised me about places to eat and airport connections and provided me with a map. The location is great as the walk is no more than 15 minutes from stazione centrale and the nearby attractions. (As far as I was aware) there was only one bathroom on my floor and it was very often occupied. The bathroom was also not the best as the shower door didn't fully close and a lack of ventilation makes it a bit smelly. The bed needed more than the single pillow provided which was probably the hardest pillow I've ever experienced.

Great location for explorig the city. Very helpful and friendly staff willing to give suggestions about interesting places i.e. 'must to see' or "where to eat" and 'how to get to...' :) The room cleaned every day. Price adequate to the standard offered. The noise comming from the street even the window was on the side (had to close window for the night). Well, in fact the whole city is noisy. Therefore I've treated this discomfort as additional experience during my stay in Palermo. Now I know that people here like to use horns in their cars a lot.

Great location The doublebed was very bad, the toilet-"door" could not be closed properly and there where way too much noise from ventilator in the toilet. Only clean towels and linens every third day.

Helpful staff, very clean room, brilliant coffee machine, excellent location. The shared bathrooms made it seem to side more on the hostel side than hotel although you get very good facilities for the price.
