Staff was friendly and serviceable. Our stay was brief, only two nights, and because my gf got sick during our cruise, we spent much of those days at the hotel. Room was clean and it was serviced while away for a couple of hours. Breakfast was much better than expected, scramble eggs, ham, cheese, breads, coffee, cereal... We got serviced for transport to the airport and although a bit out of the budget (35 euro), it was just about the only guarantee travel arrangement to reach the Marco Polo airport at 5am. Close to supermarkets, bus and train station. The only negative is that we got the 1st floor room and you can hear the water running through the drains from the upper room and the steps as people walk on the stairs to the 2nd floor.

The location was a quick easy 5 minute to walk to the train or bus station. Take a right out of the train station and go all the way to the end of the road, turn left and it's on the left hand side. The breakfast area is very small. There was not enough seating, so we had to take it to our rooms...Not a big deal. I was not able to get wireless there. They may have it available for a price, but the guy behind the counter did not speak English and I do not speak Italian so we could not understand each other.

Very good location!!! Realy in a Mestre it's more confortable then in a center of Venezia!!! Hotel situate close to the train and bus station - all the time you can have bus or train in a center of Venezia even in the night. Very confortable rooms and good breakfast In hotel all the time you have different surprises: wi-fi you have to pay, more then on cap of coffe in a breakfast you have to pay, in the end of your staing you have to pay sity taxes...

Myself and my husband went for our 4th wedding anniversary and his birthday, we could not fault Hotel Regit, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was lovely and comfortable with a tv but only put the tv on only if you can understand Italian, but you're not there for the tv, you are there to experience Venice which is a romantic, beautiful place to visit, full of great places on the canals and waterways to visit, the gondolas are expensive at 100 euros for 35 mins so if you want a treat get together with some friends and all chip in for this ride, otherwise stick to the public actv waterbuses which are miles cheaper and affordable, breakfast was nice and set you up for the day. It is very close to where the bus drops you off from the airport and only 2 minutes away from the bus station, it is very handy to get a bus from the hotel where the bus stop is only about 3 minutes walk away and you can get your bus and waterbus ticket from a little cigarette shop a couple of doors away from the hotel and off you go to explore beautiful Venice which is about 17 mins to get there on the bus then Venice is your oyster! Hope you enjoy your stay at Hotel Regit as we did, :)

The location close to the railway station is the best. The staff is very polite. Some problems to the air conditioning: I entered the room and was really hot (around 28°C).

Very clean and quiet, close to central station and also canal grande, good transport links if you want to go outside Trieste. Nice breakfast also. We had a twin room with shared bathroom and was more than enough for one night, the bathroom was clean and always available.

Its really close to Venice. Only 10 minutes on bus or train, and both bus or train station are withing about 2 minutes of walk from the hotel. Check in time is 2PM! You can leave your bag in the lounge, in the public place, does not look secured! I wish they could speak at least couple of English words, at least meaning of check in, check out! It took horribly about an hour in total to check out! In the night before I declared that I will check out in early morning, so that they should make my bills ready! It took almost an hour to make them understand. And finally in the early morning...while I had to rush for the airport, they worked like a snail, and finally I left without taking a bill/receipt, be cause I did not have time to make them understand what they should give after I made a payment! One more thing, I wish, they could smile! There was a Bangladeshi guy part time working for the hotel, (he came on call, was not paid for it) he helped a lot even though it was not his time for work!

It was close to the train station for transport to Venice which was our main reason for booking here. The walls are so thin that we could hear the person in the next room snoring though out the entire night. We had to pound on the wall to get them to be quite. The tv couldn't hold a signal long enough to watch anything. The pillows were so flat we had to stuff our jackets under them to try achieve some comfort as there were no extra pillows available. The sheets were paper thin and no extra blankets were available. Breakfast was terrible, apart from having to wait to be seated as only ten people could sit down at one time, an hour before breakfast finished dishes such as eggs had run out and when asked if more could be made guests were told no with no apologies. The shower had mold and the taps didn't work properly.

Right next to the train station which is why we chose it. Didn't have to walk far to get to hotel. Venice is 10 minute train ride from the train station. Price is good if you're on a budget. They also do luggage hold which was convenient because our train left at 9pm that night so our luggage was safe at the hotel the entire day. Breakfast was good, coffee was very nice. I think paying for the breakfast is definitely a good idea since you get your money's worth. Internet you have to pay additional 5 euro per night. Now if you don't mind sitting next to reception while you use your iPod/laptop to check your emails etc then ok. However we found it quite irritating that once we got into our rooms the signal was so terrible that the net would just completely cut out! It wouldn't even detect the signal. At reception though signal was very strong. Pillows were a bit hard, so couldn't sleep very well.

“Really comfortable and well furnished rooms. Superb bathroom. Loved every minute of our stay in this hotel. Amazing value for money & a good sumptuous buffet breakfast was part of the tariff. The bus stop is bang in front of the hotel & the route 4L has very good frequency & will take you to the heart of Venice in 15mins. Mestre station is 10mins away by walk. We liked it so much that we ended up staying there an extra night! Highly recommended.” Subrat, Evry |

“Hotel Cris is within walking distance of Venezia Mestre railway station, which made it convenient for us. Staff explained about how to catch a bus into Venice and that worked out well.
