Hotel Regit  

Staff was friendly and serviceable. Our stay was brief, only two nights, and because my gf got sick during our cruise, we spent much of those days at the hotel. Room was clean and it was serviced while away for a couple of hours. Breakfast was much better than expected, scramble eggs, ham, cheese, breads, coffee, cereal... We got serviced for transport to the airport and although a bit out of the budget (35 euro), it was just about the only guarantee travel arrangement to reach the Marco Polo airport at 5am. Close to supermarkets, bus and train station.

The only negative is that we got the 1st floor room and you can hear the water running through the drains from the upper room and the steps as people walk on the stairs to the 2nd floor.

It is a great value for money! 1. It is very close to the railway and bus station (3-5 min. Walking). It took me 10 minutes to reach the very central part of Venice by train from Mestre. 2. The room was cleaned every day- all facilities worked very good without problem. 3. The place is very quiet and all the necessary facilities are within walking distance. The receptionist adviced me a very good restaurant nearby and I had a very good diner there. 4. The breakfast was very good- more than cappucino and fread. It included cheese, ham, omelet, etc.

Tv channels were on Italian only but that was not of crucial point for me.

Great location to get to Venice (bus/train stops are close, tram to the center of Mestre). Helpful staff (especially lady who was cleaning the rooms - she gave a lot of useful advices). Normal, clean room. Good breakfast. Please note: hotel doesn't accept AMEX.

Not especially about hotel - but if you want to have 'last drink' at the evening - it is quite hard to find decent bar close to the hotel.

We travelled with our three teen-aged sons. We stayed in two comfortable rooms (one 2-bedroom and one 3-bedroom). The hotel is located within walking distance of the Mestre train station and very close to the bus stop to Venice. The breakfast was excellent and more than enough for my three boys. The manager was very helpful and friendly and assisted us with transport information and arranged a shuttle for us to our cruise ship.

The breakfast was really really nice! And the room was clean and comfortable. Location is not a problem. Because there is a bus near this hotel which goes to Venice. And also train station is really close. Hotel staffs are quite nice. I had really comfortable time in Venice.

I stayed on the third floor in March and for the price I paid everything was just fine. So ok shower was small, tv no English channels and possibly in busier times a bit of noise, depending on the neighbours. The view, is industrial you might say, but for comfort, warmth, cleanliness and efficiency my room was just great...

It was close to the train station for transport to Venice which was our main reason for booking here.

The walls are so thin that we could hear the person in the next room snoring though out the entire night. We had to pound on the wall to get them to be quite. The tv couldn't hold a signal long enough to watch anything. The pillows were so flat we had to stuff our jackets under them to try achieve some comfort as there were no extra pillows available. The sheets were paper thin and no extra blankets were available. Breakfast was terrible, apart from having to wait to be seated as only ten people could sit down at one time, an hour before breakfast finished dishes such as eggs had run out and when asked if more could be made guests were told no with no apologies. The shower had mold and the taps didn't work properly.

Hotel Regit is next to Venice and close to Marco Polo Airport.

Location was good. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is very clean, staff nice and friendly. The main advantage is the location - very close to bus to Venice centre as well as the airport bus. Best choice for short trip to Venice if you do not want to pay for hotels in the centre, which are very expensive. Breakfast quite nice as well.

Conviniently located within 5 minutes walking distance to the train and bus station to Venice. The hotel is safe and clean, but very basic

The bathroom was poorly designed and the room was too stuffy. We were unable to keep the window open without rigging something to jam it open.
