We have stayed here several times, and it's just as good as ever. A haven of calm among the noise and bustle of central Rome, with helpful staff and well equipped comfortable rooms.
The fact that one steps out of the front door right into the heart of Rome is excellent. Around the corner or a short walk to all the major historical attractions and across the road to a Galleria shopping mall.
Location and staff
Ants in my room the entire time. Ants in my bed on the last night. Informed the staff at checkout. No attempts made to satisfy my inconvenience.
Location Staff helpfulness
Uncomfortable beds Expensive for what you get
Location is excellent Staff excellent Rooms small and dated but location and staff make up for that .
The location was in the city centre walking distance to all the hot spots.
Very welcoming staff. They loved our grandchildren too! Rooms were as pictured and very comfortable.
Hotel was right in the middle of the City, walking distance to lots of tourist places, and great shopping area, bus stop just outside the door for further distances. The staff were very nice and helpful, our room was lovely with balcony overlooking the city, lots of room and flowers growing.
Small room, but it was a double bed and I was travelling alone. Breakfast was basic.
Location was excellent. Front reception staff very friendly
Some of the breakfast staff were very rude.
Best balcony in Rome. So happy to have the outside space even though it meant a smaller room. Great place for a glass of wine or to read on lounger. Hotel location also excellent for everything!
Excellent location for exploring Rome. Everything is in walking distance to the hotel. Me and my friends had a great time for my hen weekend away. The staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean.
Really liked the hotel. It could be a bit more modern but I actually liked the traditional feel of the rooms and hotel! Thank you!!
Location! Awesome! Staff was great. Near everything. Take the Batobus boat. We had a river front room open La Seine. Right across from the Lourve. Book this hotel if you want to see the final stage of the Tour de France. Were were there in 2014. It was awesome! A+ Hotel.
Hot in late July/early August. Not air conditioning. The room cooled down with the window open, but the street was loud.
everything about this hotel was great.
Spacious room with terrace on 5th floor. Small hob and fridge in room. Great location.
All the staff from reception, to cleaners to waitresses and waiters were extremely friendly and helpful . Never did I feel like I was intruding as being a first time traveller had lots questions .. Small intimate hotel . Great location . Restaurant recommended by staff was great as I didn't want it to be a tourist one .. It was in a little side alley not lots of people going by. Ate there two nights in a row ..windows were double glazed and shut out noise effectively .. Would definitely stay again.. Thanks
It's only a small issue as I think it's the norm in most hotels. Is I couldn't make a cup of tea.. But this was only a minor issue and so have gotten use to it as its the policy in most hotels
Perfect location, close to most of the main attractions and shopping streets. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast.
The staff were very good. The rooms were clean and comfortable and as expected. Breakfast was good.It was in a fantastic location and easy to walk or ride to the sights.
The shower in the rooms were a little tricky: sometimes hot then cold. Wi Fi is only in lobby areas.
Location Friendly staff
Old, gloomy, loud water pipes kept us up all night, had to ask to move rooms in the morning, ok but very simple breakfast.
I like the room.
Possibly one of the best locations for a hotel in Rome. Literally 10 minutes in any direction to the famous sites and situated on one of the busiest shopping streets. There is an exceptional street buzz as soon as you step outside and the hotel has a certain traditional charm. You feel like you are in Italy and the staff are helpful and friendly too.
Our room on the top floor was a little tricky to get to. If you have bags or young kids you'll need to take two separate lifts to the top and the max load for lift 2 is 3 so if you are 4 or more it poses problems as its quite a hike up. The room is a bit shabby in places and could benefit from a refurbishment, plus there was no mini bar or working fridge as promised on booking.com and the noise from the rooftop A/C was not insignificant. That said overall we would recommend as it was very charming in its own way and an amazing spot.
Hotel was close to everything. Breakfast was more than suitable. Room was small but served the purpose quite well.
Room was a little old. Bit of a musty smell but I guess everything in Rome is pretty old.
very good hotel with a excellent location, good value for your money.
Very nice hotel in the middle of historic centre of Rome. Only a few minutes from fontanna di Trevi and Pantheon! Probably one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
It look like there are some problem with aircondition in the hotel. In my room there were a lot of water dripped from the AC, so they moved me to another one - without any problems.
Great location, extremely helpful staff.
Hotel a little dated. No bar. No parking (car park several miles away).
