Staff was very helpful
Finding the place and parking was difficult.
This place is amazing. The staff was wonderful. Our room was very spacious. Breakfast @ the hotel was great. The coffee and beverages anytime was great. Grounds were beautiful. Secluded location right in town made for quiet nights.
Parking was off site

Great location, nice people and very good service
Room upstairs with roof deck Lovely bathroom with marble tiles and huge tub Large shared sitting room Parking nearby and free Wonderful historical feel Views of the city Close walk to old Verona
Beautiful hotel, well situated 10 minutes easy walk from centre of old city. Location ideal for those visiting by car, safe secure underground parking. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Ask to visit the roof terrace, the views over Verona are superb!
That we could not stay any longer!
Beautiful villa, very friendly and helpful staff go out of their way to help -- beyond the expected. Gorgeous setting. Lovely breakfast. Will return!
We stayed here for 3 nights late September to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. From check in to check out, the experience was perfect for us.The staff are attentive without being too intrusive and never appear as if they are trying too hard to help or please you. Everything about the hotel seems to flow naturally and it just feels right. For us, the hotel is situated in a fabulous location on the outskirts of the town and main attractions. It is a short 10 minute walk across the river into the centre and here you will find the hustle and bustle that goes with tourism. The walk back to the hotel is a little more strenuous as it is slightly uphill, but the tranquility and views are more than compensation for this. The views from the roof terrace are stunning and I have poted a couple pictures. As each room is different, I can only give opinion on room 6, which is on the ground floor with direct access to a small private garden. The room is very tasteful with ensuite, a feel of privacy and relaxation. Again, perfect for us. I cannot remember leaving any hotel where we felt we were saying goodbye to friends, but I can now. Thank you so much for making our anniversary celebration so special, the memories will stay with us for a long long time.
The villa is exquisite, with charming decor and a pleasant green little garden. My room - junior suite - was large enough, with an entry hall with a wardrobe separating it from the bathroom. The room design is minimal and cool, great for summer. The rooms dedicated to breakfast and other activities are lovely. Did not get to try breakfast due to an early departure. Got some great tips for restsurants from the manager.
Not a huge problem for me, but something to consider - the villa is a fifteen minute walk from the tourist center of Verona, crossing some busy (for Verona) streets. At night the area is quiet with few people about, walking back at 9 pm I was not quite relaxed. Also, if with luggage, the path winding from the gate up to the entrance is best negotiated with the help of the villa staff, to be requested by pushing the button at the gate.
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff.
Parking is not in the hotel.
Really nice old character filled building. The staff were really friendly and our room was huge. Fantastic views over Verona.
The windows were quite small and hence didn't really capitalise on the amazing view over Verona. We could only access the WIFI if we sat by the door of our room.
A quiet and beautiful location with a lovely walk to the city centre. We had a lovely room with view of the garden. There is also a fantastic roof terrace. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful. The best place to stay in Verona!
The hotel is actually a villa, it is very nice, we had a large comfortable room. It is about 10 mins walk into the old town area. There are great views from the roof terrace.
The location is a little challenging to find even with a GPS but we did get there. Staff very helpful in getting luggage inside.
Very friendly staff. Location is in a very quiet area. No noise from cars or people. It is only a 10 minute walk to the main square.
This comment is not of negative intent, merely advice, but going to city center is downhill, i.e. returning is uphill, and I don't suggest trying to drive into town as parking is not the easiest endeavor.
Good sized well equipped room. Helpful lady at reception recommended a good restaurant.
On quite a steep hill.
Very good atmosphere with small hotel (I think just 9 rooms). Old building, but refurbished and in very good condition. Room a bit simple, but not bad and really spacious. Good location with 10 minutes to walk to the city centre. Breakfast was ok (not extremely good but I never got this in Italy)
Parking was a bit complicated(however, most important: parking is available and free of charge; in addition, staff was very helpful with the luggage)
Beautiful Hotel, walking distance from the centre of Verona, free parking in the garage, very friendly people that speak perfect English that do evering to make your stay perfect. The atmosphere in the house is unique and fits perfect if you like culture and a house with history. We will be back.
Notting, would have stayed longer if we could.
Beautiful hotel/palace; 10 minute walk to the old city; friendly staff; spacious room and bathroom.
Aside from the hotel common areas the rooms are quite plain and a bit cold (white walls, white marble floors, etc); breakfast is quite sparse; wifi only worked at reception and not at all in the rooms.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very quiet and an easy walk into the old town.
Difficult to get to with suitcases for the more mature traveller. Parking is impossible.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. In a quiet location the building exterior and grounds were beautiful. Interior was elegant but tired. Free and easy access to tea and coffee machine or charges cold drinks from fridge. Lovely breakfast.
Steep inclined access from steeply inclined street and further steps makes premises inadvisable for old and infirm. Smell of woodworm in our room. The sense that the project to upgrade the villa is half-finished.
Fantastically helpful staff Great rooms Nice bathrooms Good breakfast
Lovely staff. Nice location if you want some relief from the most touristy parts of town and yet still be within easy walking distance of everything.
Ineffective air conditioning made sleeping quite difficult in early August, and opening the windows only meant that a barking neighboring dog and some early morning gardening made the room noisy.
Hotel Building beautiful Rooms wonderful Breakfast good
Good location for Verona. Ten minute walk and in the city.
Lacked charm. Machine coffee queue. Long walk to secure underground parking.
